Perfect Pallets illustrated by Melanie Muenchinger

Beautiful Balloons illustrated by Beth Silaika

Your Wings illustrated by Lisa Hetrick.

My first card I used Perfect Pallets illustrated by Melanie Muenchinger and also Your Wings illustrated by Lisa Hetrick.  I used Gina K. Kraft paper and used the longest wood panel in the Perfect Pallets stamp set and inked it with Dark Chocolate.  I stamped the butterfly and sentiment from the Your Wings stamp set and inked the edges with the Gina K. Dark Chocolate ink using the Life Changes Blender Brushes.  I then stamped the leaves and flower elements from the Perfect Pallets stamp set using the new Electro Pop neon ink.  I finished the card off by using some nuvo glitter drops on the butterfly.

My next card is Beautiful Balloons illustrated by Beth Silaika, My card measures 3 1/2 x 5, I inked up the sides with Gina K. Designs ink and added splatters on the background.  The balloons I stamped with Gina K. Ink and popped the balloons up with foam squares.  I finished the card off by adding the sentiment from the Beautiful Balloons stamp set.

My last card is illustrated by Lisa Hetrick, this stamp has so many possibilities.  I stamped the body in Gina K. black ink, I added the wings with Gina K's ink.  I finished the card by adding the sentiment.

RETRO RUBBER CHALLENGE #116 - Tic Tac Toe Challenge

Tuesday, July 30, 2019

Hello everyone!

I'm here with Retro Rubber Challenge Blog with a new challenge which is a fun tic tac toe created by our wonderful design team member Jan Clothier!  I love these challenges, my card I heat embossed the sentiment, the hearts have texture and I added enamel dots.  I almost had a two way tic tac toe because my hearts I consider romance, but didn't use pattern paper.  Have fun and don't forget to use at least one stamp older than a year.

Here is my card, I stamped the hearts from the Altenew stamp set called Halftone Hearts which was released in May of 2017.  I stamped the heart images in several different colored inks, I stamp the sentiment also from the Halftone Hearts stamp set, I stamped the sentiment under the hugs and kisses with versamark and embossed it with white embossing powder and used foam tape to pop it up on my card.  I finished my card off with several different colors of enamel dots.

Rinea - Thanks!

Wednesday, July 24, 2019

Hello everyone!

I'm here with Rinea with another beautiful project created with the Rinea foiled papers.  I have created a thank you card that I have created using various die cuts.  Die cuts are so easy to use with the foil papers and makes beautiful projects.

Here is how I created my project.

1.  I cut the Silver/Gold Glossy foiled paper with a stitched rectangle die, I then die cut the butterfly several times using Fuchsia/Gold Glossy, Ebony/Gold Glossy, Violet/Gold Glossy and Jade/Gold Glossy Solid foiled papers, because I pieced the colors into the butterfly, after I got all the pieces back in I cut a piece of Ebony/Gold Glossy solid foiled paper and adhered the butterfly piece to it and mounted it to an A2 top folding card base.

2.  I die cut the thanks with Ebony/Gold Glossy and Fuchsia/Gold Glossy foiled paper and adhered them together with liquid glue, I adhered it to my card,

3.  I then stamped the sentiment with versafine, and heat embossed it with white embossing powder and die cut it and adhered it to my card with foam tape.

Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps - Swimming By to Say Hi

Sunday, July 21, 2019

Hello everyone!

I am here with Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps a card using the Crackerbox and Suzy Stamp called "Marco - Sea Turtle" and the sentiment is "Swimming By".  I love how it turned out and I think this would be a perfect card for a male or a female.

Here is my card and how I put it together:

My card is an A2 size card, I used distressed inks to create the back ground, the white streaks I used a stencil from my stash inking it with a white pigment ink using the Life Changing Brushes.  I stamped and used my scan and cut to cut the "Marco - Sea Turtle" out, I colored it with copics and added some glossy accents to his back to give the turtle more dimension.  I added the sentiment from Crackerbox and Suzy Stamps called "Swimming By", do you notice the sentiment looks like it's floating in the water?  I finished the card off my adding some clear droplets and adding some white gel pen on the turtle for interest.

Here is my take on the challenge. I am using a stamp set by Altenew called Springtime Azalea which was released in December 2017.  The sentiment is from the Altenew stamp set called  Sakura Blossom which was released January 2018.   I enjoyed stamping this layering stamp using the colors in the inspirational photo.  I can't wait to see what you create!

Here is a closer look at my card.

Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps - You are the one for Me

Friday, July 12, 2019

Hello everyone!

I hope you all are enjoying your summer!  I can't believe we are already half way through July!  I am here with Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps with this adorable slider card.

Here is my card and how I put it together:

I die cut the frame of the card and then inked it with distressed inks.  I splashed water on the panel so I could get white splatters to look like bubbles in the water.  I had a square wavy frame that I thought would be perfect for the waves on the card, I die cut that out and used distress ink and adhered it to the card. I stamped the fish from the Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps called Fish Striped and Fish Polka Dot  and colored them with my new Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend markers.  I love these markers, it takes the guessing out of which colors will blend.  I added some glossy accent to the Polka Dot Fish and on the green stripe on the Striped Fish.  I adhered the fish to the slider card and added some droplets to finish the outside of my card.

Here is another view of the slider card, I wrote the word "pull" with a black marker.

Here I pulled the slider up and the sentiment is from Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps called Fish in the Sea.  The background I used distress inks and splattered some water to the look of the ocean.

Here is a side view of the slider card, this is by far one of my favorite cards I created this year.

Happy Independence Day everyone!

I  hope all of you who celebrate the 4th of July are enjoying family and frineds and having good food!  I am here with Rinea sharing a project I created using the Rinea foils.  I had this angel in my stash made by Clear Scraps called "Angel Mini Wood Pallet" and I used the Rinea Patriotic Foiled Paper Variety Pack using the Starstruck foiled papers.  I love how my project turned out.

Here is how I put it together:

1.  I started from the top and cut my foils to cover the wooden piece.  I used glue to adhere the pieces.

2.  I stamped the image from the Joy Clair Happy Fourth and die cut it with a circle die, I then cut another circle die using the Starstruck blue foiled paper and adhered it to my stamp piece.  I added some stickles and stars to finish my project.
