Happy Holiday's Everyone!

Friday, December 25, 2020

Merry Christmas everyone!

I hope you all are having a lovely Christmas with your family under these crazy times.  I am here sharing a Slimline Holiday shaker card created using the NEWLY released Christmas Shaker Ornament dies and the Sugar Plum Fairies sequins from Kat Scrappiness.

Here is how I created my card:

1. I cut the base for my slimline card at 3 1/2 x 8 1/2,

2. I then die cut the top layer with Kat Scrappiness Embossed Edge Nesting Slimline Dies using the
Sugar Plum Fairies slimline paper,

3. I then die cut the ornaments from glitter paper using the Christmas Shaker Ornament dies, that I created a shaker with using the Sugar Plum Fairies sequins. I adhered them to the base of the card and added some string from my stash to create the ornament,

4. I die cut the words from Kat Scrappiness "Happy Holidays" Brush Script Word die,

5. I finished off my card by adding the Sugar Plum Fairies sequins to the card.

Here is a closer look at the card.

Here is my second card I am sharing with you today.  It is created using the Kat Scrappiness Stitched and Layered Christmas Tree die.  I cut the top layer using the Kat Scrappiness Wonky Stitched Nesting slimline dies, I inked the layer with distress ink and added white distress ink to create snow in the background.  I die cut the Stitched and Layered Christmas tree with green mirrored paper.  I die cut the ornaments and added them to my card.

Be sure to check out the Holiday Sale!  The sale runs until January 1.

I hope I have been inspired. Here is a list of supplies I used on my card, Affiliate Links used at no additional cost. Thank you for your support.

Hello everyone,

I am back with Kat Scrappiness sharing a slimline card using the NEWLY released Forest for the Trees slimline die. I am also using Kat Scrappiness Merry Critters Stamp Set. If you want more inspiration, head on over to Kat Scrappiness blog and there are lots of projects the design team has created.

Here is my card:

Here is how I created my card:

1.  I cut the base for my slimline card at 3 1/2 x 8 1/2,

2.  I die cut the  Forest for the Trees slimline die with white cardstock, I then die cut the Forest for the Trees set again with the teal color and only used the frame of the die,

3. I then cut the snowy background with the NEWLY released Sugar Plum Fairies Slimline Paper Pack . I then adhered all of these pieces onto the base of the slimline card,

4.  I then stamped the images from the Merry Critters Stamp Set.  I colored them with copics and used my scan and cut to cut them out and I adhered them to the card.

I hope I have been inspired.  Here is a list of supplies I used on my card, Affiliate Links used at no additional cost. Thank you for your support.

My next card, which is a bonus card....I just could not get enough of the NEWLY released Wrapped Up with A Bow Slimline Die. I created a gift card holder, I thought the bow was perfect for a gift card as a stocking stuffer.

I used some mirrored cardstock to die cut the bow, I then cut the base of the gift card holder with some kraft cardstock, I cut the top panel with Kat Scrappiness A Cozy Christmas Slimline Paper Pack, I adhered all the pieces to the panel of the slimline card, I die cut the Happy Holidays from some mirrored cardstock and added it to my card.  The snowflakes are Kat Scrappiness White Snowflake Sprinkles.

This is the inside of the gift card.

Here is my card I created using Concord & 9th Full of Joy Trifold die, I decided not to make a tri-fold card, I cut the bottom part off and and just used the letters and the base of the die.  I love how it turned out.  The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions Christmas Simple Strips.  I finished off the card with adding some snowflakes from Lawn Fawn.  All supplies are listed below.

Retro Rubber Challenge Blog -

Tuesday, December 1, 2020

 Hello everyone!

I am here with Retro Rubber Challenge Blog with a new inspirational photo challenge, which is a Christmas card that inspires you from the picture.  I hope you will join in on the fun. Be sure to stop over on the Retro Rubber Challenge blog to get more inspiration, the design team has some wonderful creations!

The rules to play along with Retro Rubber Challenge is very simple, make sure the stamp you use on your project is at least one year or older. For more details on the rules, you can find them over on Retro Rubber Challenge blog.

Here is my card for your inspiration. The sentiment I used on my card is from Taylored Expressions - Simple Strips Christmas which was released in September 2019.

My card is an A2 card, I embossed the top layer with an embossing folder from my stash.  I added some Pearl Lustre Metallic Gliding Polish to the card to give the snowflakes dimension, I then die cut the image on my card with a Sizzix Bigz Die By Tim Holtz called Rustic Lantern.  I die cut it with some red cardstock, and die cut the white part, I inked with some distress ink and added it to the back of the lantern.  I used foam tape to the back of the lantern and added it to the card.  I cut the holly leaves from a die from Kat Scrappiness called Holly Leaves & Berries, and added all the elements to the top of the lantern.  I had a snowflake cut in my stash, I added it to the lantern and stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from the Taylored Expressions Simple Strips Christmas and added them to the card.

Thanks again for stopping by, please don't forget to stop over at the Retro Rubber Challenge blog and join the fun and check out the beautiful projects the design team members have created.
