Kat Scrappiness - Just a Note to Say Hello

Hello everyone!

I am here with Kat Scrappiness with a card using the NEWLY released products! I am featuring the Kat Scrappiness Mail Storm background die and the Simple Sentiments Stamp & Die Bundle. I created a shaker card using some embellishments from Kat Scrappiness.

Here is how I created the card:

• Created the card using the newly released Mail Storm background die to create a shaker card.
• Ink blended a piece of card stock and added it the card base.
• Ink blended another piece of card stock and die cut the background die.
• Added the piece of acetate and adhered it to the background.
• Added foam tape along the edges and adhered it to the background panel.
• With the left over background paper, die cut the word "Hello".
• Stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from the NEWLY released Simple Sentiments Stamp & Die Bundle
• Assembled the card.

Kat Scrappiness - Perk Up! September 2022 Coffee Release

Hello everyone!

I am here with Kat Scrappiness,Inc., and the Design Team is featuring the NEW Perk Up September 2022 NEW release! I am showcasing two cards I created using the NEW products from the release along with the two new 6x8 coffee cardstock. All the products are listed below.

Here is my first card. I am showcasing Kat Scrappiness Cuppa Love Shaker Dies, Got Coffee w/Shadow Die and the Perk Up 6x8 Paper Pad.

My first card is an A2 card using the KS Double Stitched Rectangle Dies. I die cut the cups from the Cuppa Love Shaker dies in dark brown and used the Perk Up paper pad. Die cut the got coffee and die cut the shadow with vellum. I die cut the heart from red cardstock and added clear wink of stella and glossy accent on the middle heart.  I finished the card off by adding Coffee Pearl Mix

Here is my second card, which I am showcasing Kat Scrappiness Perk Up Stamp & Die, Perk Up 6x8 Paper Pad, and the Coffee Splatter 6X6 Stencil.

My second card, is also an A2 card, I cut the layers out using KS Double Stitched Rectangle Dies. I then used the stencil on the top layer and inked it with dark brown ink. I stamped the coffee pot with brown ink and then with black and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I cut the top off and pieced it onto the brown coffee pot. I used foam tape and popped it up onto the card. Finished the card off by adding Kat Scrappiness Mocha Pearl Mix.

Newton's Nook Designs - Happy Fall

Hello everyone!

I am here with Newton's Nook Designs featuring the our Cycling Friends Stamp Set. Fall has come in where I live and I thought this is the perfect set to create a Fall card.

Here is how I created the card:

1. Stamped the images from the Cycling Friends Stamp Set., cut the images out using the coordinating Cycling Friends Die Set, colored with copics.

2. Add the pumpkins to the bicycle basket, using the Fall Friends Die Set.

3. Created a scene by inking up a sky and adding in clouds and sun using our Sky Scene Builder Die Set. The lower cloud holds a sentiment inked from our Newton's Crate Stamp Set.

4. Along the bottom added a hill and some grass, cut out using our Land Borders Die Set.

5. The leaves are from the Harvest Haul Stamp Set. The whole scene is framed with a scallop edged frame tfrom the Frames & Flags Die Set.

Hello everyone!

I am here today featuring the NEW Gina K. Designs "Beautiful Forest" stamp set and coordinating dies illustrated by Melanie Muenchinger. These Forest animals are so adorable and I love the collection of the Forest Friend Melanie has designed.  If you recall Melanie has other Forest Friends animals which are "Forest Friends Additon" stamp set with dies released in February 2022 and the original "Forest Friends" stamp set released in December 2021.

Here are my cards for your inspiration:

My first card is a mini slimline card that I created using GKD Master Layouts 6 and 7.  The top layers of the card is cut from Master Layouts 7.  The grass and the trees are from Master Layouts 6.  I stamped the bears from the Beautiful Forest stamp set with GKD Black Onyx and Dark Chocolate.  Added some details onto the animals with colored pencils and a white gel pen.  Added the sentiment and the little butterflies and added some small rhinestones in the butterflies.

My second card is a square card measuring 4 1/4 x 4 1/4.  The top layers are die cut from Master Layouts 3.  The square dies fit perfectly around the forest background stamp.  Stamped the background from the Beautiful Forest Stamp Set with GKD Black Onyx ink.  Added some GKD Sea Glass to the background and added some stickles from my stash to look like snow.  I stamped the word "winter" from the Beautiful Forest Stamp Set and then stamped the word "blessing" with GKD Embossing & Watermark ink and heat embossed with GKD Fine White Embossing Powder.  Used foam squares and popped it onto the card.  I stamped and colored the images from the Beautiful Forest Stamp Set, added some details with colored pencils, added some foam squares onto the back and added them to the card.  Love how the animals are looking at us from the Forest.

Retro Rubber Challenge Blog - Tic Tac Toe Challenge

Hello everyone!

Here is my card for your inspiration. The stamp set I used on my card is by Pretty Pink Posh called "Boo Stamp Set". The word "Boo" is a die cut by Pretty Pink Posh called "Boo Coordinating Dies", which was released August 2019.

 

My card was created by die cutting the word "Boo" from the "Boo Coordinating Dies" from pattern paper from my stash. I then stamped and die cut the images on my card from the "Boo Stam Set". I colored the images with copic markers.

Newton's Nook Designs - Pumpkin Spice

Hello everyone!

I am here with Newton's Nook Designs featuring the Pumpkin Latte Stamp Set. This is such a cute Stamp set for the Fall or the coffee lovers that love pumpkin spice coffee.

Here is how I created the card:

1. Stamped the images from the Pumpkin Latte Stamp Set, colored with copics and used the coordinating Pumpkin Latte Die Set.

2. Added the elements onto an oval that was cut out using the Oval Frames Die Set.

3. Added the grass to the bottom of the oval using the Land Borders Die Set and clouds to the top using the Clouds Stencil.

4. The background paper is from the Autumn 6x6 paper pad.

5. Added the sentiment from the Pumpkin Latte Stamp Set heat embossed in white onto a banner using the Frames & Flags Die Set.

6. Finished off the card by adding some enamel dots from my stash.

Kat Scrappiness - Halloween and Thanksgiving September 2022 New Release

I am here with Kat Scrappiness, Inc. and the Creative Crew is showcasing lots of products from the September 2022 NEW release! I am featuring two cards I created using a variety of NEWLY Released products from Kat Scrappiness.  Be sure to stop by the Kat Scrappiness Blog for lots of inspiration.  All the products I used on my cards are listed below.  

Here are my first cards for your inspiration:

Here is how I created the card:

• Created the card using the newly released Nesting Die set to create a shaped/shaker card which will fit in an A2  envelope.  The first layer of the card was die cut from the second Nesting Dome Dies, the design paper is from the NEWLY Gobble Gobble 6x6 Paper Pad.
• Created a window frame for the front of the card using the third and forth Nesting Dome Dies.
• Added acetate to the back of the frame, added foam tape around the frame, added the embellishments (Autumn Pumpkin Sprinkles, Orange Autumn Sprinkles, and Pearlescent Peach Solid Confetti Sequins).  Added the design paper from the Gobble Gobble 6x6 Paper Pad for the background.
• Stamped the image from the Gobble Gobble Stamp Set.  Colored the turkey with alcohol markers.
• Stamped the sentiment from the Gobble Gobble Stamp set, heat embossed with white embossing powder.
• Die cut the leaves from the NEWLY released Autumn Foliage Dies.
• Assembled the card.

Here is my second card using a variety of newly released products.

Here is how I created the card:

• A2 card measuring 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.
• Die cut the top panel using the Creepy & Kooky 6x6 Paper Pad with the Embossed Edge Rectangle Dies 
• The top layer is die cut from the NEWLY Spiderweb Backdrop Die using some holographic paper from my stash and created the shaker card.
• Die cut the caldron and the withes legs from the NEWLY released Witches Brew Die using a variety of papers from my stash.  
• Created a shaker card with the caldron.  Used KS Halloween Night Sequins and  Groovy Ghouls Sprinkle Mix.
• The sentiment is used combining Happy Day Stamp Set (Happy) and Hippy Hoppity Sentiments (Happy) 
  
• Assembled the card and finished the card off by adding some KS Heart Sprinkles.

Newton's Nook Designs - Halloween Inspiration Week

 

Hello everyone!

This week Newton's Nook Designs is getting ready for Halloween with a fun Inspiration week! All week the NND Design Team will be sharing inspiration using some of their favorite Halloween products to get you in the mood for tricks and treats! Check out what I created today and don't forget to check the NND Blog each day this week for more fun inspiration!

Here is my card using the Trick or Treat Kittens.

Here is how I created my card:

1. Card is an A2 card measuring 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.

2. Die cut the top layer with a stitched die using the paper from the Halloween Meow Paper Pad..

3. Die cut the top scalloped circle from the Circle Frames Die Set.

4.  Die cut the Trick or Treat word from the Halloween Trio Die Set using glitter paper.

5. Stamped, die cut and colored the images with alcohol markers from the Trick or Treat Kittens stamp set.

6. Assembled the card.

RETRO RUBBER CHALLENGE BLOG - Grateful

I am here with Retro Rubber Challenge blog and we have a new challenge which is a sketch. Be sure to stop over on the Retro Rubber Challenge blog to get more inspiration, the design team has some wonderful creations!

Here is my card for your inspiration. The stamp set I used on my card is by Gina K. Designs called "Fluttering Fall" stamp set which was part of a bundle called Fluttering Fall Layering Stencil Bundle that has a stencil, stamp set, dies (that include the word and shadow "grateful". which was released August 2021. The leaves are made by Lawn Fawn and the background embossing folder is by Darcie.

 My card was created by embossing the background and cutting it down and adding the dark brown layer and added it to the card base.  I cut the lawn fawn leaves and added them to the card.  Die cut the grateful out of dark brown cardstock and added it to some vellum.  Stamp and die cut the image from the Fluttering Fall stamp set.

Kat Scrappiness - Happy Halloween

Hello everyone!

I am here with Kat Scrappiness with a card using some of their Halloween dies. Have you finished up your Halloween cards?  Kat Scrappiness has added lots of Halloween goodies in the store, please stop by and check it out....and there is more to come!

Here is my card for your inspiration.

Here is how I created the card:

• A2 card measuring 5 1/2 x 4 1/4.
• Cut a 1/2 inch off the bottom and added the Spider Web border from the Halloween Borders Dies.
• Cut the paper on the front panel from the Creepy & Kooky 6x6 paper pad.
• Die cut the Happy Halloween from the Happy Halloween Word Dies With Shadow.
• Die cut the spiders from the Creepy Crawly Dies and added some googly eyes.
• Stamped, die cut and colored the witches hat with Copics from the Quokka Halloween Costume Add On Stamps.
• Added a white panel on the inside of the card.
• Finished the card by adding KS black enamel dots.
• Assembled the card.

Here is how I created my shaker kit:

• Created an A2 card measuring 5 1/2 x 4 1/4.
• Cut a piece of card stock at 5 1/2 x 4 1/4, added a circle mask to be the moon, inked blended the background with distress inks, added some white splatter to look like snow.
• Created the Santa Shaker Kit by inking it with Black Soot Distress ink.
• Assembled the Shaker Kit by adding the acetate onto the frame of the shaker.  Added the Pretty Present Sprinkles and All the Trimmings Sequin Mix into the shaker and closed it by adding another piece of acetate onto the back.
• Stamped the sentiment from the Merry Critters Stamp Set.
• Assembled the shaker onto the card base.

Kat Scrappiness - Shake it Up! Shaker Card & Embellishment Release

Hello everyone!

I'm here with Kat Scrappiness and the Creative Team is sharing inspiration using the newest shaker card kits, embellishments, and the new Creepy & Kooky Halloween 6x6 paper pad. Be sure to stop over to the Kat Scrappiness blog for more inspiration.  

Here is my card for your inspiration.  I created a shaker card featuring the NEW Creepy & Kooky Halloween paper pad and some other Kat Scrappiness products.

Here is how I created the card:

• Mini slimline card measuring 3 3/4" x 6 1/4".
• Die cut the frame from the KS Mini Slimeline Frame Dies, added some acetate behind the frame.
• Die cut the back panel using the Never Ending Rectangle Die Set.
• Added some foam tape behind the frame, added the embellishments to the inside of the shaker (Groovy Ghouls Sprinkle Mix, Halloween Confetti), and adhered it to the back panel, then adhered it to the card base.
• Front of the shaker, die cut the elements from the Crafter's Essentials Halloween Die Set (tree and pumpkin) and Creepy Crawler dies (spider web and spider).
• Stamped, colored with copics and die cut the elements from the Dress Up Quokka and Quokka Halloween Costume Add-On Stamp Sets.
• Stamped heat embossed sentiment from the Happy from the Hippity Hoppity Sentiments and Halloween from the Happy Day Stamp Set.  Die cut it using the Boxed Sentiment Strips.
• Assembled the card and finished it off by adding some ghost from the Halloween Night Sequin Mix.

Gina K. Designs - Magic Masking Strips

Hello everyone!

Gina K. Designs and Therm O Web has created a new product called Masking Magic™ Strips. If you love the full sheets of Masking Magic™ you will love the new Masking Magic™ Strips! They are precut for us! No more measuring and having some wider or thinner strips....Gina K. has you covered. There are three sizes pre-cut at 1/8”, 1/4” and 1/2” widths.

I have created a card using the 1/8" strips.  Here is my card for your inspiration.
 

Here is how I created the card:

1. Card is an A2 card measuring 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.

2. Die cut the layers using GKD Master Layouts 1.

3. Using a lined piece of paper, I laid my top layer diagonally onto the paper and used the lines to lay the 1/8" strips along the panel.  

4. Used GKD Inks to ink blend the background.  I used my favorite colors Cherry Red, Tangerine Twist and Wild Dandelion. 

5. Die cut the oval using vellum from the Single Stitched Ovals.

6. Die cut floral die from GKD Botanical Duo die.

7.  Die cut the sentiment from the Sentiment Strip - Mixed messages using the sentiment strips.

8. Assembled the card and finished it off by adding some black pearls from the Pearl Mix.

MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE BLOG (MLCCB) - Ho Ho Ho!

Hello everyone!

Here is my card for your inspiration:

My card is a slimline card that I created using Maker's Movement products.  I die cut the "Ho Ho Ho" Die Set.  I die cut all the papers from scraps in my craft room.   I finished off the card by adding a sentient "Merry Christmas".  

I hope I have inspired you to play along with the Merry Little Christmas Challenge.  The theme is always Christmas...perfect time to get some Christmas cards done to send out during the holiday.
