Joy Clair - Congratulations!

Wednesday, May 25, 2016

Hello everyone,

I am here with Joy Clair featuring their new stamp set for May.  It is called "Oh Baby".  Earlier in the month, I told you this was by far one of my favorite stamp sets; well I really have confirmed it now. You can use this stamp set for graduations from college,  high school, or a new job, or if you just want to congratulate someone for something.  I have a graduation card; this is the time of year for college and high school graduations, perfect card and perfect sentiment in the set
.
My card is a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4.  The gold layer is 5 x 4 and the design paper is 4 7/8 x 3 7/8.  I stamped the sentiment with versamark and added gold embossing powder.  I used my heat tool to emboss.  I adhered the black stripe to my card and added the graduation cap.  My card is a very easy and simple card.

I hope you enjoyed my card, you may want to hop on over to the store and get this set, it is on sale and you don't want to miss out!

Retro Rubber Challenge #39 - Flower Challenge

Tuesday, May 24, 2016

Hello everyone,

I am here with Retro Rubber Challenge blog and we have a theme challenge for you. I hope you will join the fun and play along with us. The theme is "It's May" use flowers on your creation. Here is the color inspiration picture and my take on it.

The flower stamp set is from Penny Black called "Centerpiece". The stamp was release in March of 2015.  The sentiment is also Penny Black called "Sprinkles and Smiles".  I have taken different angles of my easel card for your viewing.  I colored the image with copics.  I love the bouquet of flowers and it was not as hard to color as I thought it would be.  It's not perfect, but I love the colors.

The card is 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 when it is folded down.
  • To start you will need a piece of cardstock 4 1/4 x 8 1/2,
  • score your piece at 4 1/4 and 6 3/8,
  • The image is cutwith a square die which is 3 7/8 x 3 7/8,
  • The black layer is 4 1/4 x 4 1/4.  It fits perfect on the easel,
  • Cut a white piece of cardstock at 1 7/8 x 3 7/8 and added the sentiment,
  • Pop dotted this to the card,
  • Finished the card by adding some sequins.
Here are different angles of the card.

I hope you have been inspired by my card to join the challenge. You have until June 3rd to hop on over to Retro Rubber to join the challenge. Remember to use a stamp over a year old and make sure you tell us how old it is. I cannot wait to see your creation! For more inspiration, please stop over at Retro Rubber to see what the design team members have created!

Also stop over at the Retro Rubber Challenge blog and check out the beautiful projects the design team members have created. Leave me a comment to tell me how you liked my card, I love to read them. Thanks for stopping by, come back again soon!!

"Celebration" Blog Hop with Joy Clair Stamps, Die-Versions and DL.ART!

Wednesday, May 18, 2016

Hello everyone!

I am here with
Joy Clair who has collaborated with two awesome companies: Die- Versions and DL.ART  who has come up with a fun and festive "Celebration" Blog Hop. We want to showcase how well the three company’s products work together. Joy Clair makes high photopolymer quality clear stamps; Die-Versions makes very intricate beautiful dies and DL.ART makes gorgeous rayon hand dyed crinkle ribbon and also carries bakers twine and other hand crafted seasonal supplies.

The "Celebration" Blog Hop will take place on Wednesday, May 18th through  Friday, May 20th. Over the three days the Design Team Members will be sharing with you projects we have made for “Celebrations” that come around throughout  the year, i.e., weddings, baby showers, babies births, graduations, father's day, and of course birthdays! The Design Team Members will be using supplies from the three companies to make our projects.  You will see for yourself how lovely these products work together and how dies, stamps and ribbons are the perfect combination!!

Here are my projects:

I have a baby boy and girl card to share with you.  I am using the Die-Versions intracate die called  "Whispers - Oneie" on the first two cards. I used my big shot to cut this die.  I adhered them to a circle die and added them to my card.  The sentiment is from Joy Clair stamps called "Oh Baby".  It's a very cute set, there are other sentiments and baby images in the set.  I finished my card off with using DL.Art ribbon.

For the last card, this is another new release from Die-Versions, it is called "Spring Pond".  I colored everything with copics.  The sentiment is from the Joy Clair stamp set "Seeds of Faith".  I added my ribbon from DL.Art.

To be able to win, all you have to do is comment and become followers of each blog over the three days.  The prizes will be announced on all three of the companies’ blog on Sunday, May 22nd.

Joy Clair will be giving three gift cards of $25 dollars for the Joy Clair Store, one for each day! Die -Versions is giving away a $50 00 gift certificate to the Die-Versions store.

DL.ART is running a 3 day special during the blog hop for all of the Design Team Followers ~ 12% off your entire order at DL.ART by using code: DJDHOPS ~ this code will only be valid for the 3 days of the "Celebration" Blog Hop.
