NEWTON'S NOOK DESIGNS - JULY 2023 RELEASE 10 YEAR CELEBRATION - DAY 3

Hello everyone!

It's the last day of Reveals over at Newtons Nook Designs celebrating their 10 birthday!!!  We saved the best for last.  I am so excited to feature more hot foil plates that includes a Confetti Hot Foil Plate, Paw Prints Hot Foil Plate, Birthday Sentiments Hot Foil Plate that can be die cut using the Banner Duo Die Set released in May.  Check out the Design Team inspiration and a chance to win a prize (details below)!

Here are my cards for your inspiration:

My first card I used the paper for the background from the Birthday Meows Paper Pad. I used the Confetti Hot Foil Plate in the background, the image is from the Newton’s Birthday Delights which I die cut with the coordinating die. The sentiment is from thE Birthday Sentiments Hot Foil Plate and die cut it with the Banner Duo Die Set.

I had so much fun creating this card.  I created a fun fold card.  

Inside of the card. The sentiment is from the Newton’s Birthday Delights, I masked off the word Birthday.

My second card is an A2 card, I used the Birthday Meow Paper Pad in the background.  I created the foiled background using Paw Prints Hot Foil Plate. I die cut the paws using the Frames & Flags Die Set. The sentiment is from the Birthday Sentiments Hot Foil Plate, which I die cut using the Banner Duo Die Set. The presents I stamped and die cut from the Newton’s Birthday Delights.

My next card, I used a mix of papers from the Birthday Meows Paper Pad. I foiled the sentiment using the Birthday Sentiments Hot Foil Plate and die cut it with the
Banner Duo Die Set.

My last card I used the papers from the Birthday Woofs Paper Pad. I die cut the stripes using the  Frames and Flags die set.  I hot foiled the sentiments from the Birthday Sentiments Hot Foil Plate which I die cut using the Banner Duo Die Set.

Hello everyone!

I am here today featuring the NEW Gina K. Designs "Beauty in Everything" stamp set illustrated by Lisa Hetrick. This stamp set coordinates with the "Showers of Blessings" set from June. This stamp set is adorable and is perfect for any occasion. Here is Lisa's idea sheet that you can download from the Gina K. Designs & StampTV Friends Facebook page.

Here are my card for your inspiration:

My first card I am using the NEWLY released Beauty in Everything illustrated by Lisa Hetrick.  I stamped all the images from the set and designed the card.  I heat embossed the sentiment and added to the card.  I die cut the layers with Master Layouts 1 and used the GKD Swiss dot embossing folder in the background.  All the flowers are pop up with GKD 1/2 inch foam squares.  For finishing touches I added the black pearls from GKD Black, Gold and Silver Pearl Mix.

My second card, I used the GKD Basket Weave Cover plate.  I stamped and die cut the floral and leave images from the Beauty in Everything Stamp Set.  I die cut the oval from GKD Double and Single Stitched Ovals.  Added it to the card front and arranged the images.  I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment and added it to the card.  For finishing touches I added the blue pearls from the GKD Rainbow Pearl Mix.

My card today features the NEWLY released "Birthday Barks" stamp set and coordinating dies.  Also "Birthday Woofs" 6x6 Paper Pad. 

Here is my card for your inspiration:

My card is an A2 size card, I cut the top layers from the NEWLY released "Birthday Barks" 6x6 Paper Pad. I cut a piece of velumn from the NND Oval Frames Die Set, stamped, die cut and colored the image with alcohol markers. Added the image with foam tape. I added extra balloon and the gift from the "Birthday Barks" stamp set. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder and die cut it using the NND Frames Die St.

For finishing touches on the card, I added some glitter to the package, glossy accents to the balloons, the cherry and the dog tag and clear wink of stella on the party hats.

Retro Rubber Challenge Blog - Tic Tac Toe #211

Hello everyone!

I am here with Retro Rubber Challenge blog and we have a new challenge, which is a Tic Tac Toe. You can use your imagination and create whatever you would like.  Be sure to stop over on the Retro Rubber Challenge blog to get more inspiration, the design team has some wonderful creations!

The rules to play along with Retro Rubber Challenge is very simple, make sure the stamp you use on your project is at least one year or older. For more details on the rules, you can find them over on Retro Rubber Challenge blog.

Here is my card for your inspiration. My tic tac toe is ribbon/twine, embossing and your choice. My choice was to use a die cut to cut the sentiment. My card I used a Spellbinder's embossing folder called Four Petal Flower (3D). I then stamped and embossed the sentiment from Penny Black's stamp set called Happy Wishes that was released in 2016. I die cut the sentiment from Spellbinders Essential Four Petals Label dies. I then ink blended around the edges. I die cut the ribbon at the top using gold paper. I finished off the card by adding some gold pearls.

Hello everyone!

It's Reveal Day 1 over at Newtons Nook Designs, and they are celebrating 10 years of being in business!!! NND will be celebrating with fun new birthday themed products and what is a celebration without a SALE and PRIZES!!! Make sure to join us each day for inspiration and your chance to WIN, details below.

The NEW products will include two new 6x8 stamp sets with coordinating dies along with two 6x6 paper pads.  They ae also releasing MORE hot foil plates!!!!  These products will be available Thursday, July 20th.

My card today features the NEWLY released "Newton's Birthday Delights" stamp set and coordinating dies.  Also "Birthday Meows" 6x6 Paper Pad. 

Here is my card for your inspiration:

My card is an A2 size card, I cut the top layers of the card from the NEWLY released "Birthday Meows" 6x6 Paper Pad. I cut a piece of black cardstock to separate the two sides. I then stamped and embossed the sentiment onto the paper. I then stamped, die cut and colored the image with alcohol markers and used foam tape to pop them up.

For finishing touches on my card, I added some fine glitter and glossy accents on the circles on the cake.

Retro Rubber Challenge Blog - Sketch

Happy Independence Day everyone!

I am here with Retro Rubber Challenge blog and we have a new challenge, which is a Sketch.  You can use your imagination and create whatever you would like.  I love sketch challenges.  Be sure to stop over on the Retro Rubber Challenge blog to get more inspiration, the design team has some wonderful creations!

Here is my card for your inspiration. I've created a card using red, white and blue (patriotic colors) since today is Independence Day. I used the sketch to create my card.  I am using Photoplay "Land of the Free" paper to create the layers. The gnome is from Jaded Blossom, I used several products to create this gnome. For the base of the gnome, I used Gomes Dies, to dress the gnome I used the Gnome dies Patriotic Add Ons. The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom God Bless America Stamp Set, I used the coordinating God Bless America Outline dies to cut the sentiment. For finishing touches I added some star embellishments to the hat and at the bottom of the card.  All of these products were release in May 2022.

Here is my card for your inspiration:

I am using Gina K. Designs "Winter Wishes" Stamp set.  I stamped the words on the blue cardstock using GKD Embossing and Watermark ink and embossed it with GKD Detail Silver embossing powder.  For the background I used GKD Snowflake Embossing Folder.  The snowflake is from Lawn Fawn.  I die cut the layers using GKD Master Layouts 1.  I love this stamp set, so many ways to create with this set.
