Happy Holidays - Simon Says Challenge

Tuesday, September 30, 2014

Hello everyone,

I am here playing along with Simon Says Challenge - Anything Goes.  Simon Says blog is showcasing Hero Arts Stamps.  I have plenty of Hero Arts stamps and embellishments, I just had to join in on the fun.

If you love Hero Arts Stamps, A2Z Scrapbooking Etsy store has lots of Hero Arts products. If you would like to order the supplies I used, you can hop on over to A2Z Scrapbooking store and purchase everything.  If you purchase $25.00 or more, you can use the coupon code "Donna15" to get 15% off.

Here is my creation for the Hero Arts Anything Goes challenge with Simon Says. I used the Hero Arts Fancy Cut Holidays Stamp and Cuts.  This is a whole set, you get the "Happy Holiday" dies and it has several cling stamps you can choose from.  I chose the stocking and the holly leaves, and added the Hero Arts red gemstones.

There's not much time to join the challenge.  If you want to join there is a $50.00 gift for the winner.

Thanks for stopping by, please come back and see me soon!

Craft Room - Storage Ideas

Monday, September 29, 2014

Hello bloggers,

I am hear with Craft Hoarders Anonymous blogto give you a tour of my craft room for all you to see.  I call this my women cave.  I do all my creating right in this room.  I also come in here to relax.  Most of the white bookcases you see are from Ikea, they are called Expedit.

This is the left side of the room.  The black cubes, which are also from Ikea, hold everything from spellbinders, pens, embossing folders, punches, and embellishments.    My 81/2 x 11 paper is in the pink magazne holders.  I bought these from Ikea too.  The rest is my 12 x 12 paper.

This is the right side of the room.  You can see all my ribbon, stamps and dies.  In the cubes there is more paper, glue, more dies and stencils.  On top of the second bookcase, I store my Cricut Expression and Silhoutte.

Here are just some of my punches that I have.  The bars are from Ikea.  I could use about four more of these bars, but I had to settle on storing them in the drawers below.  I do my embossing on this top.   The jars are storing my paint brushes and some of my tools for the cricut and silhouette.

Here are some more punches.

I have my Stampin Up stamps stores in two drawers.

Tim Holtz and Stazon Inks.

My Big Shot and Cuttlebug always ready when I need it.

Well, this is the tour of some of my craft room.  I hope I have inspired you to get organized.  I must say, my room is not always this clean.  When I start working on a project, I have everything out. Head over to the Craft Hoarders Anonymous blog to see some of the other Design Teams craft room and more storage tips.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you will come back again soon!

Happy Halloween

Saturday, September 20, 2014

Hello everyone,

I am back again with some fall goodies and a card.  I love making Fall and Christmas cards, this is my favorite time of year!  I hope you can get some inspiration here and don't forget to check out the other design teams projects on the A2Z Scrapbooking Supplies blog.

My first project is little bags that I cut out with a Quickutz cutting die.  I used the digital spooky dies from Hero Arts digital collection.  I printed them out and cut them out with a circle punch.  I glued two of them onto a Tim Holtz rosette and the middle one I cut out a spider web and spider from a Quickutz die.  Don't you think they turned out so cute?  These are perfect to give out to the children that will come to you house during Halloween or nice favors to give out at school.

My Halloween card is a background stamp from Hero Arts.  It is simple and clean.  I added the pumpkin for a little color.

Craft Hoarders Anonymous - Challenge #16 - Who Loves School and Office Supplies?

Monday, September 15, 2014

Hello Bloggers,

I am back with Craft Hoarders Anonymous with another challenge which is "Who Loves School and Office Supplies".  Most paper crafters also love school and office supplies. We love crayons, markers, shaped paperclips, notepads, folders, and more! If you hoard school and office products, get them out! Use them up! Use at least one item that is really a school or office supply on your project.

Here is my take on the challenge.  I used the Sunny Day Collection for the background.  I fussy cut the bucket and the water well and popped it up on the card to give dimension.  I stamped the Heartfelt Creation Butterfly Medley Precut Set.  I colored the flowers with copics and added some stickels and Wink of Stella on the flowers.  I then cut the butterfly out with the Spellbinder butterfly die.  I can't wait to see what you create with your school and office supplies.

Closer look, can you see the wink of stella glitter?

Iniside of the card, I used a paper clip for office supplies.

Make sure you LINK your project up using the Link Tool on the Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge Blog and don't forget to visit the Craft Hoarders Anonymous Design Team and check out what they have to share!

a2z Scrapbooking September Challenge - Autumn and Christmas

Friday, September 5, 2014

Hello everyone!

I’m here with a2z Scrapbooking today with a new Challenge, Autumn or Christmas.   This is the second challenge for the a2z Scrapbooking design team.  We had so much fun last month with all the wonderful projects from all of you who participated.  Don't forget to come back on September15th to see who won the $25 Gift Certificate to the a2z Scrapbooking store for the month of August.

I decided to make a Christmas card using the Hero Arts Brush Strokes.  I love this stamp set, it is so versatile.  The circle looks like the paper is textured, it is not, it is the stamp that is.  I have used four stamps in the set.   You can find this set in the a2z Scrapbooking store if you would like to add this to your collection.  If you search on my blog for this set, I have used this set on another card.

Craft Hoarders Anonymous - Challenge #15 - All the Pretty Flowers

Monday, September 1, 2014

Hello bloggers,

I hope you all are enjoying your long weekend.  Are you ready for the children to go back to school.  I am sure some if not most of your children have already gone back.  I can't believe my grand-daughter is going into the third grade!  Time sure does fly when you are having fun.

This challenge is for all of you flower hoarders! Maybe you hoard pre-made flowers. Maybe you hoard flower punches or dies. Maybe you hoard flower stamps. "Dig" out those flowers and use them on your project!  This challenge is sponsored by Heartfelt Creations and Crafty Secrets.  We will have two prizes for this challenge.  For more details and rules, go to Craft Hoarders Anonymous blog.

Here is my take on this challenge.  I love fall colors and I especially loved the Crafty Secrets papers.  There were so many to pick from, but I decided on these.  If you love to make fall/Halloween cards, Crafty Secrets has a wide variety of elements and papers to chose from. The flowers are from Heartfelt Creations, Arianna. Loved making them, I printed out some of Crafty Secrets paper, stamped the flowers on it, and then cut them out with the spellbinder die Arianna Blooms and inked them with Tim Holtz, vintage photo and used the 3D Stamp paint, Copper. Love how it turned out, I love the orange and black colors together.  Well it's your turn.  Get your hoard of flowers out and start making your project, i can't wait to see what you create.
