Here is my card I made for "Encouragement", this card can be given to someone that is graduating, going to a new job or taking a test and need some encouragement.  I loved how it came out.  I used two Hero Art stamp sets, Brush and Good Luck.  Both of these stamps sets are so versitle, check them out at the store if you are interested in them, the links are above.
I finished the card off with stamping the Good Luck in Grape Juice.  The grunge is stamped with soft yellow.

Craft Hoarders Annoymous - Challenge 14 - Button It Up!

Monday, August 18, 2014

Hello Bloggers,

Whew, I had a busy weekend.  Both of my grandbabies had a birthday party on Saturday and one on Sunday.  I am worn out, but they all had so much fun.  Welcome back to another challenge with Craft Hoarders Annonymous Challenge 14.  This week we are joining Altered Pages with a blog hop! Crafters of every stripe are button hoarders!

Buttons are pretty, inexpensive, and extremely versatile. If you are a card maker, quilter, layout artist, or anything in between, you probably have a button hoard! Buttons come in many sizes, styles, shapes, and colors, plus they are easy to store...usually in cute containers! Pull out those bins of buttons and use some of them for your challenge project!

Here is my take on the challenge.  I started out with using the Kaisercraft mini 5 frame shadow box.  I inked the frame with black ink and sprayed the frame with a variety of colors of glimmer mist and antique gold high impack.  Then I added the Antique Sewing pictures by Altered Pages in the frame.  The sentiment and the damask fabric is by Canvas Corp.  Then I just started embelling the frame....walla!

Supplies:  Kaisercraft shadow frame and knob, altered pages viintage sewing trade cards, tattered angels glimmer mists and hgh impact antique gold, canvas corp kraft tag and fabric, stampin up neutrals buttons and twine, Tim Holtz mini dress form die and belt buckle

One talented participant will receive this prize, donated by Altered Pages!

Happy Birthday

Monday, August 11, 2014

Hello everyone,

This is my first post for A2Z Scrapbooking Design Team, I am so happy to be among so many talented women.  Thank you Michelle and Linda for selecting me to join the team!

Are you stopping by to check out my project?  If you like what you see and would like to purchase anything on my card, you can go to the A2Zscrapbooking store and purchase all the supplies I used on the card.  If you are a lover of Hero Art stamps and embellishment, you will enjoy shopping in the A2Z etsy store.  You can get 15% off your total order of over$25.00 by using the code "Donna15".

Below I am using the stamp set, Hero Arts Tag Collage.  This is such a versatile stamp set.  I choose to make a card with it, but you can use the tag as a gift tag.  I really enjoyed making this card.  There are seven (7) rubber stamps in the set, I used about four of them on my tag card.  Don't you just love the card?  I used Hero Arts chalk ink Iris for the flower.  The ribbon matches the flower just perfect, because I took some crinkled ribbon by Tim Holtz and colored the ribbon with the Iris ink.  The back ground is stamped with the Hero Arts wet cement mid-ton and then I used the Hero Arts Forever Green mid-tone for the leaves.

This is the inside of the card, I made a little pocket, using the tag stamp.

Don't forget to join the "Encouragement" current challenge over on the A2Z Scrapbooking blog.  Thank you so much for stopping by, please come back again soon!
