Santa's Elves

Tuesday, November 24, 2015

Hello everyone,

I am here with a2z Scrapbooking one layered card challenge.  I have these cute little Santa's Elves here to share with you.  They are so adorable.  There are three in the set with a die cut.   Since this is a one layer challenge, I did not use the die.  I blended the Hero Arts Green Hills for the bottom of my card and the top I blended soft pool.  I then splattered some water with a paintbrush and blotted the water with a paper towel.  For a little more effect, I splattered some white paint on the card too.  I then stamped the elves with Hero Arts black, added a few sequins to finish the card.

Here is my card, clean and simple.....

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will join a2z Scrapbooking challenge this month. Joy to the World - YNS Sketch Challenge 27

Saturday, November 21, 2015

Hello everyone,

I am stopping in to play along with Your Next Stamps sketch challenge.  My local scrapbook store has started to carry their products so I decided to buy a few stamp sets.  I also love their gumdrops.  I think I have every color.

I am using the adorable stamp set called Snow Fun.  It has five differnt penguins in the set.  You can use the stamp set to make a Christmas or Birthday  card.  I have made a Christmas card.  I stamped the image and colored it with copics.  I used the die to cut them out.  Very cute image and love the sketch.  Here is my card:

Here is a closer look of my card.  The hearts in the center of the penguins I colored with clear wink of stella and then put glossy accent on the top.  I thought the gumdrops went perfect on the card since they had a little sparkle inside of them.

Here is the sketch

Thank you so much for stopping by, there is still time to play along with this challenge.  Please come back again soon!

Joy Clair Stamps - Heaven and Nature Sing

Friday, November 20, 2015

Hello everyone,

I am here again with Joy Clair stamps.  Joy Clair is a new stamp company that opened their company in August 2015.  They are having a design team call and if you are interested you can find the details here.  Their stamps are made with the highest photopolymer and are manufacter in the USA. I am not an expert in stamps, but I can tell you they stamp very clear amd crisp!

Now here is my card.  I am using the Merry Christmas Sentiments set and the Music Makers set.  I cut the base of my card from the silhouette.  I then stamped the notes from the Music Makers set making it the background at the top of the card.  I then stamped the piano keys from the same set and added it to the card at the bottom.  I then stamped the sentiment with gold pingment ink.  To finish it off, I added some sequins.  I think this card is very pretty and classy, I love how it turned out.

Here is a closer look of the card.

Christmas Tags by Joy Clair

Tuesday, November 17, 2015

Hello everyone!

I am hear with Joy Clair's Christmas Gift Tags.  These tags are the perfect tags for your Christmas gifts this year.   The best thing about these tags are they have a digital file you can stamp on. The files are just one cent.  Stop by the shop and get this stamp set and the digital file today.

I cut out the tags using my silhouette with the digital file from Joy Clair.  I stamped each tag with memento ink, and used copics to color them.  For the snowflakes I added some stickles to make them sparkle.  I added a background by using my silhouette and offset to make the tag a little larger.  I added some cardstock at the bottom to give the tags a little more color.

Here are the tags:

Don't forget to stop by Joy Clair blog to see all the lovely projects the design team has made using this Christmas Tag set.  Thank you so much for stopping by, please come back again soon!

Season's Tweeting

Monday, November 16, 2015

Hello everyone,

I am here playing along with MFT sketch and color challenges.  I went to a crop this pass weekend and made a few cards and some scrapbook layouts from our Disney crusie from the summer.  I have not scraped in a while, but my mojo was on this weekend.  I made about 8 layouts, I still need to embellish the pages.

Here is one of the cards I made.  I love the sketch and the colors from the challenges.  I stamped the Pure Innocence girl from the Season's Tweetings stamp set with MFT Premium Black Licorice ink, and colored her with copics.  The frame I cut from the Blueprint 24 and used the Stitched Stax Rectangle to cut out the inside.  The stars are also from the Blueprint 24.

Here is the sketch challenge:

Thanks so much for stopping by, please leave a comment if you like my card.  If you are not a follower, I would love for you to start following my blog.  Please come back again soon.
