Happy Thanksgiving blog friends!

I wish all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving.  I am so grateful for you, my family and friends.  I am especially grateful for you for giving me the opportunity to share my creations.  I love reading your comments and giving me some suggestions at times.  I love sharing my creativity with you this is why I am so very, very grateful for my blog friends.   Thank you for taking the time to look at this post.  If you like it, please leave me a comment.

I have two cards to share with you today.  The first one is cut with my Silhouette.  All of the Silhouette designs are on sale until December 9th, I believe.  They are 50% off!  So if you like this card, go over to the Silhouette store and purchase this.  The second card is another Elizabeth Craft Design peel off sticker.  I used my copic markers to color in the pumpkin and the top.  This is my new crave right now....so stop back by for some more creations with the Elizabeth Craft peel off stickers.

Have a very Happy Thanksgiving!  Enjoy your family and friends and eat plenty of turkey.  Please come back, I will continue to make many more Christmas cards for the holiday season.

Isn't this such a nice card!  I cut it out with my silhouette and used it to put on my card!

This card was so beautiful, I could not put a sentiment on the front!

Season's Tweetings - Lawnscaping Challenge # 70

Monday, November 25, 2013

Hello Bloggers,

I have another card to share with you.  I am playing along with Lawnscaping Challenges.  This is my first time joining this challenge.  I really love the Lawn Fawn stamps.  I love how they stamp, sometimes I wonder if it is the ink or the stamp.  Whichever one it may be, the stamps always stamp so nice and crisp!

The challenge is to have polka dots on the card.  I pulled out my Jillibean polka dot paper.  Love this stamp set by Lawn Fawn Winter Sparrows.  I used the dies that match the stamp set and cut out the birds and branch and colored the birds with my Prismacolor pencils.  I pop dot the branch and the birds on the Lawn Fawn die Stitched Journaling Card.

Thanks again for stopping by.  If you like my card, please leave a comment, I love to read them.  If you like my blog, please follow me, the button is on the left side of my blog.

Warm Winter Wishes

Monday, November 25, 2013

Hello everyone,

I hope you all had a wonderful winter weekend.  The winter has finally set in, brrrr, it was a cold weekend.  I did manage to go out for a few minutes today.  At least the sun was shining, but that wind was whipping!

I have another card to share with you.  I am playing along with Lawn Fawn's CHA 2014 Catalog Challenge.  This stamp set I am using is called Winter Fox.  Isn't this fox so cute?  This stamp set has endless possibilities.  I pulled out an old 12 x 12 paper pack by Minds Eye - Countdown to Christmas.  I stamped the fox, stamped another one and colored it with my Prismacolor pencils, cut it out and paper pieced it.  I also paper pieced the cup.  The snowflakes are a Martha Stewart punch.

Thanks for stopping by.  If you like my card, please leave a comment, I love to read them.  If you like my blog, please follow me, the button is on the left side of my blog.

Have a wonderful week and please come back, I hope to have something else for you this week.

Here is another 5 minute card.  The base of the card is SU Cherry Cobbler, the paper on the front of the card is retired SU Festival of Prints and Snow Festival Design printed tags.  The stamp set is SU Sassy Salutations.  ribbon is SU Ribbon.

I'm back again, playing with the Freshly Made Sketches.  I have a simple card to share.  I am using the Stampin Up Design Series Paper, Season of Style.  This is a simple sketch if you want to play along, there is still enough time.

Thanks for stopping by, I will be creating this weekend.  It's cold, dreary, and rainy.  It's a great weekend to stay in the house and do lots of crafting.  What are you doing?

Warm & Cozy Wishes - Inky Paws Challenge #5

Friday, November 22, 2013

Happy Friday!

I hope everyone is ready for their weekend!  I know I am and today I am playing along with Newton's Nook Designs' Inky Paws Challenge to start my weekend.  What a great sketch, I enjoyed creating this, and what made it really nice is they have a couple of free digi-stamps free.  So hop over there and get your free digi-stamps and join the challenge.

When I saw the mittens, I had just the paper to create my card.  This is a paper pack from Martha Stewart that I have had a while.  I used my prismacolor pencils to color the mittens.  I colored the background of the mittens with the Wink of Stella markers.  It gives the mittens a little shine, hard to see in the picture.  I put some glossy accent in the middle of the mittens to give it some dimension.

Thanks for stopping by, if you like this card, please leave a comment, I love reading them.  If you like my blog, click the blue button "join this site" on the left side.  Come back again soon.

Merry Christmas - A Few of My Favorite Things.

Saturday, November 16, 2013

Hello Bloggers,

I don't know about where you live, but here in the Washington Metropolitan area it sure was grey and gloomy today.  Oh sun, oh sun, where are you!  Come out, come out, where ever you are.  I hope tomorrow will be a nicer day, oh, did I mention it was a little chilly too.

I have a Christmas card to share with you today.  I have been wanting to try them chalking technique, this is what I did with this card.  I used the Hero Arts stamp called Pen and Ink Christmas tree.  I am entering this card in the Hero Arts holiday challenge, a few of my favorite things.  You still have time to pop in and play along.  There is a $50.00 shopping spree on Hero Arts website.

Happy Harvest - Mojo 319

Saturday, November 16, 2013

Hello Bloggers,

I hope everyone had a great week and ready for the weekend.  What are your plans for the weekend?  I am going to try and create some cards and just take it easy.  This is the first free weekend in a while.

I am playing along with the Mojo Monday sketch.  This sketch was a little challenging for me.  I could not figure out how to put the pennants on my card, so I left them off.  If I used the pennants, it would have covered my embossed leaves on the paper.  I just love the color of fall, all the rich colors of orange, brown and reds.  The stamp set I used is another Lawn Fawn set called Harvest Season.  I used my Prismacolor pencils to color the cornucopia and fruit.  The accents on the card are also from Lawn Fawn.  Don't you love the leaf (I took a close up pick below).  The package of leaves comes with several colors, you can pick from.  Check out the Lawn Fawn website, they have everything I used on their site and their shipping is very fast.

Thanks again for stopping by.  Please leave a comment if you like my card, I love reading your comments.  Come back again soon!
