Hello everyone!

I was a guest designer in December of 2016 and so happy to be back showcasing a few of their stamps!  Make sure to stop by each blog post below to see all the wonderful creations!

One lucky winner will have the opportunity to win a So Suzy Stamps gift certificate of $25 to the store, in addition there will be three gift certificates of $15 for three other lucky winners!  All you have to do is comment on each blog post below!  You will have until midnight April 29th to comment. The winners will be announced on So Suzy's Blog and So Suzy's Facebook page on May 4th, so be sure to check to see if you are the lucky winner!

Now that I have gotten all the logistics out of the way, I have two cards to share with you.  If you know me, you know I love to make "coffee" related cards.  When I saw So Suzy had this coffee stamp released this month, illustrated by Tracy McLennon called "Coffee at Heart", and the newly released sentiment called "I Mean Coffee", which goes so well with the coffee stamp,  I just had to have it!  My second card, the sentiment I used is called "Procaffeinating" which was designed by Cornelia Wenokor is a free stamp for the month of April, there are only a few more days left this month, be sure to get yours!

Here is how I put my card together:

1.  My card is a top folding card, A2, 4 1/4 x 5 1/2,
2.  I die cut the layer with a rectangle stitched die,
3.  I used a stitched die to cut the 1/2 circle out, I stamped the sentiment with Memento Black ink and adhered it to my card,
4.  I stamped the cups from the Coffee at Heart stamp set with Memento Black ink several times and cut them out with my scan and cut,
5.  I colored the cups with Copics,
6.  I stamped the cup holders with different design paper and fuzzy cut it out and adhered it to the cup, I also stamped the hearts on colored cardstock and fuzzy cut them out and adhered it to the cup holder,
7.  I finished my card off by adding some sequins.

For my second card.....

1.  My card is a top folding card, A2, 4 1/4 x 5 1/2,
2.  I die cut the design coffee paper with a rectangle stitched die,
3.  I used a stitched die to cut the top solid cardstock, I stamped the sentiment with Memento Black ink and used foam tape to adhere it to my card,
4.  I colored the cup with Copics and added some glossy accent on the heart to make it stand out,
6.  I die cut a circle out with vellum, adhered it to the card and used foam tape to pop the coffee cut onto the vellum
7.  I finished my card off by adding some enamel hearts.

Joy Clair Best Buds

Wednesday, April 25, 2018

Hello everyone!

I am here with Joy Clair with one of my favorite stamp set called "Best Buds".  This is an adorable stamp set, there are 4 cute images and about 8 sentiments. This set is a must for your stash!

Here is how I put my card together:

1. I started with an A2 card (4 1/4 x 5 1/2),
2. I die cut the rounded corner layer and adhered it to the base of the card,
3.  I die cut the center green element and made a shaker, and added some sequins,
4. I stamped the cute turtle image from the Joy Clair "Best Buds" stamp set with
Black Memento then colored the turtles with copics,
5.  I added the turtles to the front of the shaker with some foam tape,
6. I then stamped the sentiment with Black Memento from the Joy Clair set "Best Buds",
7.  To finish off my card, I added some glossy accent to the turtles shells and added some black nuvo drops for the eyes.

This card is clean and simple and was very easy to put together!

Happy Birthday!

Thursday, April 19, 2018

Hello everyone,

I am stopping in and playing along with a couple of challenges.  I needed a birthday card so this was perfect to play along with Seize the Birthday, the challenge is to use bright colors!  I am also playing along with Mod Squad Challenge, the challenge is to make a birthday card and make sure there is a balloon on the card.

I am happy the way my card turned out, I believe I used nice and bright colors for the Seize the Birthday Challenge and I don't think you can miss the balloons on my card for the Mod Squad Challenge.

Here is my take on the challenges:

The stamp set I used is a retired set from Stampin Up called Celebrate Today.  I stamped the balloons with the new Gina K. Design inks and used my Scan and Cut to cut out the balloons.  I die cut the colorful layer and adhered it to my top folding card.  I added the balloons to the card with foam tape and added some twine from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by, please come back again soon!

I hope you will enjoy my samples I created with the new inks and cardstock.

My first card I used the Gina K. Stamp set called Sending Love.  To create my card, I used the Gina K. Designs Wreath Builder stencil.  I stamped the butterflies with every color of the new inks.  The circle around the sentiment is the slate and I stamped the sentiment from the Wreath Builder stamp set with the Amalgam Black.  The card base is the Coral Reef cardstock.

My second card, I used the Wreath Builder stamp set and the Wreath Builder templates.  I used the Tangerine Twist, Tranquil Teal, Lucky Clover and Key Lime inks on this card.  I used the Tangerine Twist for the base and the Slate for the layer.  The hello sentiment is from the Gina K. Designs Hello Beautiful illustrated by Lisa Hetrick.

I love how colorful this card is again I used every color in the new inks. The card base is Sea Glass with the Slate layer.  The stamp set is the Gina K. Designs Boho Flowers.

My last card, I used the Plum Punch and Key Lime inks.  I used a jumbo dauber to ink the Gina K. Designs Floral stencil.  The sentiment is from the Gina K. Designs stamp set Lettered Lovely illustrated by Emily Schroepfer.

I've listed the products I used for both cards below.  Click on the link to go directly to the product.  Where available I've used compensated affiliate links which means if you make a purchase I receive a small commission at no extra cost to you.

Joy Clair - Music Makers Birthday Card

Tuesday, April 10, 2018

Hello everyone!

I am here with Joy Clair and I have a card to share with you today!  I pulled out an oldie but goodie stamp set called Music Makers.  This stamp set makes me happy!  It has several musical elements and many sentiments in the set.

Here is how I put my card together:

1. I started with an A2 card (4 1/4 x 5 1/2),
2. I cut the black layer (4 x 5 1/4) and white layer (3 7/8 x 5) for the card,
3.  I used my Misti to add the music notes on the white layer,
4.  I then masked off the music notes and added the piano keys to the bottom of the layer,
5. I die cut a circle with vellum,
6.  I then stamped the "happy" from the Joy Clair "Hello Sentiments" set with black memento ink,
7.  I then used my Brother Scan and Cut machine to cut it out,
8.  I then stamped the word "birthday" from the Joy Clair "Hello Sentiments" set in black memento ink and die cut it,
9.  I added the happy and birthday to the circle vellum and adhered it to the card,
10.  I finished off the card by adding some black enamel dots.

This card is clean and simple and was very easy to put together!
