Hi

Saturday, July 20, 2013

Hello Bloggers,

Just stopping by to post a colorful card.  How do you like all of these bright colors.  I had fun making this card.....you can change the sentiment to anything you would like.

I was on one of my favorite websites tonight, Scraps of Color.  This site is a gathering place for African American Scrapbookers, Cardmakers and Altered Artists who can post their creations and chat with each other.  I was on there chatting with a couple of my sistas and we were talking about our blogs and joining each others.  We would like to have more followers to join our blogs.  So, I wanted to share with you their blogs, they have a lot of nice creations.  The first one is DomestikDivaDesigns and the second one is My Craft Journey.  Just click on the name and it will take you to their blogs.  If you like their blog, please join them!  As usual, thanks for stopping by.....I'll be back soon.

Mojo 302 - Congratulations

Wednesday, July 17, 2013

Hello Bloggers!

I hope you all are surviving the heat wave!  Here I am again with another Mojo Monday sketch.  I didn't follow it exactly, but I think it is close enough.  My card just didn't need anything else.  I love how it turned out.  This weeks sketch is definitely a keeper....thanks Julee for the inspiration.  You may not be able to tell, but I used crystal effect on the glasses.  It really turned out nice! This stamp set that I used is very versatile, you can use this for Birthday's, Christmas or Weddings.  It is by Stampin Up - called Happy Hour.

Thank you for stopping by again and checking out my card.  Come back soon, I am working on some more items to post.  Please take some time and check out the rest of my blog.  If you like this card, please leave a comment, I love reading them.  If you enjoy my blog, please follow me....click on the link on the right side of my blog "follow me".

Mojo Monday 301 - God's Promises

Saturday, July 13, 2013

Happy Saturday Bloggers,

I hope you are all doing well.  I am relaxing this weekend at a scrapbooking retreat with friends.  It is so nice and peaceful, no phones ringing, no stopping to put in wash, no grandchildren running down to my craft room wanting to help (smile).  I took the time to stop by and do the Mojo for the week.  Love this weeks sketch....I love them all.  I don't know what it is, but my last few cards have been black and white, I've used stars....I must be starting a trend!!!!  I think what it is, I bought the stamp set Shining Star and the Starry Die.  Love them....if you don't have them, you should get it.

Doily Challenge - JRC#100

Wednesday, July 10, 2013

Hello Bloggers,

I want to congratulate Justrite Stamps for their 100th challenge.  This challenge is to add a doily.  It can be any kind of doily - stamped, paper, or die cut.  I chose to use the Stampin' Up White Tea Lace Paper Dollies.  I had not used them, so I was excited for this challenge.   I have several stamps and dies made by Justrite, but I don't get a chance to use them very often.  I chose to use the Justrite Clear stamps called Botanical Butterflies.  I think my card turned out pretty nice.....what do you think?

Thank you for stopping by again and checking out my card.  I hope you take some time and check out the rest of my blog.  If you like this card, please leave a comment, I love reading them.  If you enjoy my blog, please follow me....click on the link on the right side of my blog "follow me".

Hello Bloggers,

This is my last post for the weekend!  Whew, I have been crafting this weekend.  I had to finish a digital book that I was doing for my grandbaby.  I finished it!!!!  I had to get it done today, because the credit I had for it expired today.  I decided to do one more card for the Mojo Monday before they close.  This is a very quick card, not much layering.  Don't you love this pumpkin pie paper with the white card stock.  It reminds me of a cream icicle!

Congratulations again Mojo Monday for your 300th sketch in six years!  I love doing your sketches and look forward to more to come.
