Hello everyone!

I am here with Retro Rubber Challenge blog and we have a new challenge, which is an inspiration photo - April Showers.

If you have not joined our challenges before, the rules are very simple, just use a stamp older than a year and you must include the age (or approximate age) of the stamp in your blog post.

Image may contain: shoes and text

Here is my take on the challenge:

My image is from the stamp set by Studio Katia called "Hello Alice" and was released in December  2016.  I water colored my background onto water color paper and adhered it to a top folding card.  I colored the images with copics and adhered them to the card with foam tape.  The sentiment is also from Studio Katia called "Happy" which was released in February 2016.  I stamped the word "spring" from the "Happy" stamp set and die cut it and popped it up on the card.

Are you ready to play along? Be sure to stop over on the Retro Rubber Challenge blog to get more inspiration, the design team has some wonderful creations! Thank you for stopping by, you have until April 20th to join the fun!

Supplies Used:

  1. This is an adorable card! I love those cute images!! Great card, Donna!

  2. Such a sweet card Donna, love the kitty and the cute little girl covering him from the rain.
    Fab card, teammie.

  3. She makes me smile, standing in a puddle and sharing her umbrella with the kitten. Lovely!

  4. Donna, I love this beautifully coloured card. And as a crazy cat lady, I like the fat that she is standing in the rain with her kitty. Cx

  5. I so much like your card! Especially since you did NOT take the colours from the inspiration picture, but went with your own idea and took other things from the inspiration (the theme/umbrella/rain). The colours are so nice and I love the water colour background. It is a fun spin to have one piece of the sentiment being on the back panel and one being attached on top!
Thank you so much for inviting me as the guest designer for this fun challenge.
    Kind regards from stempelfrida
