RETRO RUBBER CHALLENGE BLOG #84 - April Showers

Hello everyone!

I am here with Retro Rubber Challenge blog and we have a new challenge, which is an inspiration photo - April Showers.

If you have not joined our challenges before, the rules are very simple, just use a stamp older than a year and you must include the age (or approximate age) of the stamp in your blog post.



Here is my take on the challenge:

My image is from the stamp set by Studio Katia called "Hello Alice" and was released in December  2016.  I water colored my background onto water color paper and adhered it to a top folding card.  I colored the images with copics and adhered them to the card with foam tape.  The sentiment is also from Studio Katia called "Happy" which was released in February 2016.  I stamped the word "spring" from the "Happy" stamp set and die cut it and popped it up on the card.

a2z Scrapbooking April Challenge - Watercolor!

Hello everyone,

I am here with a2z Scrapbooking challenge for April which is watercoloring.  I am new at watercoloring, but I love how my card turned out.  For my card, I used my Koi watercolor paints and a watercolor brush.  I used watercolor paper to add my colors, after the paint dried, I laid the Hero Arts Confetti Stencil  Pair on my painted image and used a  baby wipe to rub some of the ink off to see the circles.  Don't you just love the effect, looks like bubbles floating in the air.  I used the Acts of Kindness stamp set and the Hero Arts White Embossing Powder along with versamark to emboss the sentiment.
