Hello everyone!

I am here with Retro Rubber Challenge blog and we have a new challenge, which is a color inspiration. Be sure to stop over on the Retro Rubber Challenge blog to get more inspiration, the design team has some wonderful creations!

The rules to play along with Retro Rubber Challenge is very simple, make sure the stamp you use on your project is at least one year or older. For more details on the rules, you can find them over on Retro Rubber Challenge blog.

Here is my card for your inspiration. My card is an A2 card measuring 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I am using a cute stamp set from Lawn Fawn called "Simply Celebrate Summer" which was released in July 2020.

I created a rainbow of ice cream cones, by stamping the image and then coloring them with copic markers.  I die cut a piece of white cardstock with a stitched rectangle die and added the ice cream image with foam squares.  I stamped the sentiment below the ice cream and finished the card off by adding some sequins and glossy accents onto the ice cream.

Are you ready to play along? Be sure to stop over on the Retro Rubber Challenge blog to get some more inspiration! Thank you for stopping by, you have until June 16th to join the fun!

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!

I know we are all in quarantine right now, but I hope you are getting crafty at home.  Lots of people are crafting with friends over zoom.  Earlier in the week I was crafting with some of my crafty peeps, it was so much fun.

I am stopping in to play along with the Sweet N' Sassy Stamps VIP Facebook Challenge and the theme is Things with Wings. I decided to make a mother's day card, or a card you can just give to your mom to let her know she is loved.  I am using the free digi that Sweet N' Sassy posted on their VIP Facebook page, so you want to play along or just like the digi, the link is above.  The sentiment is from the Sweet N' Sassy Stamps Precious Poppies.  I colored the image with copics and what doesn't show up on the card, I added wink of stella on the butterfly.  The background paper is some retired paper from Stampin Up called Painted Autumn.

Here is my card for your inspiration:

Here is the sentiment inside of my card.

Thank you for stopping by, please come back again soon.

Thank You

Hello everyone!

I am here playing along with a couple of challenges today.  The first is Dare 2B Artzy and the challenge is to use pastel colors on your card.

The second challenge, I have been playing all week is Photo Scraps Store color challenge.

Here is my card for your inspiration.  My card uses a Dare 2B Artzy Leaf Background Die. This die is so pretty and so intricate. I've had this die for a while, but I couldn't resist getting it, it is so pretty and intricate.  There are several ways you can use this die, hop over to Dare 2B Artzy blog and they have lots of inspiration.  The sentiment is from the Well Wishes stamp set, which is a very nice set to have in your stash, lots of sentiments and beautiful font.

I die cut the leafy background with white cardstock and inked it with distress ink.  I then die cut the leaf from a piece of  alcohol Ink Cardstock, I created using alcohol inks.  I stamped it with black ink and used foam dots and popped it up on the background die.  I used alcohol inks on the background panel and attached it to an A2 card.

Thanks for stopping by, please come back again!

Now onto my take on the challenge, I was so inspired with the holiday challenge.  I had this paper in my stash called "Snowman and Penguins" by Craft Creations LTD, I bought from White Rose Crafts.  I just had to use it on this challenge.  The stamp I used on my card to stamp the sentiment is by Stampin Up called Wondrous Wreath, it was released in 2014 in the Holiday Mini Catalog.  I believe the stamp set is retired.

Image may contain: text

My card is a 5 x 5 card, I cut the image from my paper to 4 7/8 x 4 7/8, I cut come of the images from the paper and fuzzy cut it and used foam tape to pop the images on the card.  I stamped the sentiment from Stampin Up's Wondrous Wreath.  To finish the card, I added some dew drops.

Retro Rubber Challenge Blog - Anything Goes #99

Tuesday, November 6, 2018

Hello everyone!

I am here with Retro Rubber Challenge blog and we have a new challenge, which is "Anything Goes"!  I love challenges with anything goes, because you can create anything you would like! I have created a fall/autumn themed card.

If you have not joined our challenges before, the rules are very simple, just use a stamp older than a year and you must include the age (or approximate age) of the stamp in your blog post. Here is the sketch for you to use. I cannot wait to see you take on it.

The stamp I used on my card is made by Deep Red stamps called Fall Leaves and was released sometime in September 2013.  This is totally a guess, I could not find it on their website on when the stamp was released, but I have had this stamp in my stash for lots of years!

Here is my card I created for the challenge.

My card is an A2 card, and I used watercolor paper and watercolor ink for the background.  I stamped the image on the background after it was dried.  The sentiment is from the same set.
