Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps - You are the one for Me

Friday, July 12, 2019

Hello everyone!

I hope you all are enjoying your summer!  I can't believe we are already half way through July!  I am here with Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps with this adorable slider card.

Here is my card and how I put it together:

I die cut the frame of the card and then inked it with distressed inks.  I splashed water on the panel so I could get white splatters to look like bubbles in the water.  I had a square wavy frame that I thought would be perfect for the waves on the card, I die cut that out and used distress ink and adhered it to the card. I stamped the fish from the Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps called Fish Striped and Fish Polka Dot  and colored them with my new Spectrum Noir Tri-Blend markers.  I love these markers, it takes the guessing out of which colors will blend.  I added some glossy accent to the Polka Dot Fish and on the green stripe on the Striped Fish.  I adhered the fish to the slider card and added some droplets to finish the outside of my card.

Here is another view of the slider card, I wrote the word "pull" with a black marker.

Here I pulled the slider up and the sentiment is from Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps called Fish in the Sea.  The background I used distress inks and splattered some water to the look of the ocean.

Here is a side view of the slider card, this is by far one of my favorite cards I created this year.

Joy Clair Stamps - Hang in There

Tuesday, July 9, 2019

Hello everyone!

Can you believe it's already July!  Wow, how the summer is just flying by.  I am here with Joy Clair Stamps with a cute card using the Joy Clair Stamp set "Feeling Slothly".  This is a really nice stamp set with several sentiments and images that you can use with your other sets you may have.

My card today is an A2 size card.  I cut a piece of cardstock 4 1/2 x 5 1/2 and used distress ink to create the background.  I die cut a leafy die I had in my stash and adhered it to the card.  I then stamped and cut the images from the Feeling Slothly stamp set, colored then with copics and added then to my card and stamped the image from the Feeling Slothly stamp set.

GINA K. DESIGNS JULY 2019 MONTHLY MIX CHALLENGE

Monday, July 8, 2019

Hello everyone!

I'm playing along with the July Monthly Mix Challenge over at Gina K. Designs. My design team mate Cat Tidwell is this month's hostess and her challenge is called, "Flag! You're It!" All the challenge details can be found HERE.

I love making patriotic cards with red white and blue, I can't seem to get away from using the life changing blender brushes, I used the brushes and Gina K. Designs ink to create my background.  The stamp set was so appropriate for celebrating Independence Day, the set is called "Lettered and Lovely".

Here is my take on the challenge.

Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you will join the challenge.

Rinea - Land of the Free

Thursday, July 4, 2019

Happy Independence Day everyone!

I  hope all of you who celebrate the 4th of July are enjoying family and frineds and having good food!  I am here with Rinea sharing a project I created using the Rinea foils.  I had this angel in my stash made by Clear Scraps called "Angel Mini Wood Pallet" and I used the Rinea Patriotic Foiled Paper Variety Pack using the Starstruck foiled papers.  I love how my project turned out.

Here is how I put it together:

1.  I started from the top and cut my foils to cover the wooden piece.  I used glue to adhere the pieces.

2.  I stamped the image from the Joy Clair Happy Fourth and die cut it with a circle die, I then cut another circle die using the Starstruck blue foiled paper and adhered it to my stamp piece.  I added some stickles and stars to finish my project.

Here are my projects:

I am using the Gina K. Designs Vibrant Blooms Stamp set with coordinating Vibrant Blooms dies and Ink On 3 Bad & Boujee Stamp set with coordinating dies. I used the Gina K. Designs stencil called Crazy Daisy using the miracle brushes with Gina K. ink. I stamped the flowers with Versamark, added Gina K. white embossing powder and heat set it, then I used the miracle brushes to add ink to the flowers and added some Ink On 3 Liquid Pixie Dust to give the flowers some shimmer . I die cut the word "kisses" using Gina K. cardstock, I added the Ink On 3 Liquid Pixie Dust to the word to give it some shimmer and then added glossy accent to give the word some dimension.

My next card I used a couple of sentiments from the Gina K. Designs Vibrant Blooms Stamp.  The gems are from the  Ink On 3 Bad & Boujee Stamp set and the word "Boujee" is from the coordinating dies.  The background I used Gina K. Designs Sunshine stencil which is available if you purchase the Ocean Minded Card Kit.  I used Gina K. ink using the Miracle Brushes and then added the White Glitz and Glitter gel.  I did the same technique which is emboss resist on the gems as I did on the flowers on my first card.
