Kat Scrappiness - Holiday Inspiration

Monday, September 20, 2021

Hello everyone!

I am here with Kat Scrappiness, Inc., sharing two fun cards I did using the newly released Christmas Wishes and Happy Holidays word dies with shadows.

Before I get started I wanted to let you know Kat Scrappiness has a sale on ALL adhesive, its a great time to stock up if you are planning to make holiday cards.

For my first card I created an A2 size card. I am using the Christmas Wishes w/Shadow Dies, that I die cut with mirrored cardstock and added it on vellum. I then cut strips from the KS A Cozy Christmas Slimline Paper and Cuppa Christmas Slimline Paper and added it to the base of my card that I die cut with the KS Embossed Edge Rectangle Die and finished the card off adding some KS Ocean Blue Pearl Mix.

For my second card I created an A2 size card. I am using the Happy Holidays w/Shadow Die, that I die cut with glitter cardstock and added it on the glitter shadow. I then cut strips from the KS Sugar Plum Faries Slimline Paper and added it to the base of my card that I die cut from the KS Stitched Rectangle Dies and finished the card off adding some KS Plum Pearl Mix.

Thank you so much for stopping by, please head over to Kat Scrappiness blog for more inspiration.

RETRO RUBBER CHALLENGE BLOG #167 - Sketch

Tuesday, September 14, 2021

Hello everyone!

I am here with Retro Rubber Challenge blog and we have a new challenge, which is a sketch. I love sketch challenges. I hope you enjoy creating something with this sketch. If you have not joined our challenges before, the rules are very simple, just use a stamp older than a year and you must include the age (or approximate age) of the stamp in your blog post. I cannot wait to see you take on it.

Here is my take on the sketch challenge. The stamp set I am using is created by Penny Black called Harvest Wishes. It was released in September 2020.

My card is an A2 card, I used some design paper from my stash, I stamped the bold image and colored it with copics, then stamped and fuzzy cut the sentiment.  I finished off the card by adding enamel dots from my stash.

Are you ready to play along? Be sure to stop over on the Retro Rubber Challenge blog to get some more inspiration! Thank you for stopping by, you have until March 20th to join the fun!
