Monday, September 15, 2025

Hello everyone!

I am here with Gina K. Designs and Simon Says Stamp celebrating STAMPtember®! Simon Says Stamp has collaborated with Gina K with an exclusive stamp set designed by Gina K. called "Shimmering Christmas". This set is only available while supplies last, so don't wait, head over to Simon Says Stamps and get this set. For more inspiration, please stop by Simon Says Stamps blog.

Here are my cards for your inspiration:

D. Idlet, STAMPtember 2025, Gina K. Designs, Shimmering Christmas, Simon Says Stamps, shaker card, Christmas, Holiday

My card is an A2 card. I created a shaker card.  I stamped and heat embossed the tree image from the Shimmering Christmas with GKD Silver embossing powder.  I then die cut the top layer with GKD ML 2 and then used the tree die cut to cut out the center.  I added acetate to this panel, added GKD
Double-sided Adhesive Foam Shaker Strips to the back of the acetate panel.  I added the GKD Clear Quartz Solid Sequins onto the embossed panel and added the acetate panel ontop.  I added the panels to the A2 card.  I stamped the sentiment from the Shimmering Christmas stamp set and added it to the front of the card.

D. Idlet, STAMPtember 2025, Gina K. Designs, Shimmering Christmas, Simon Says Stamps, shaker card, Christmas, Holiday

My second card is an A2 card also, but I have created a fun fold.  This is not my design, I found it on youtube and the fun fold is called "diagonal card fold" if you want to search Youtube for the dimensions.  I used the GKD Snowflakes embossing folder for the background.  I stamped, embossed and die cut the tree from the Shimmering Christmas stamp set and added to the top layer of the card.  I finished it off by adding the sentiment from the Shimmering Christmas stamp set.

D. Idlet, STAMPtember 2025, Gina K. Designs, Shimmering Christmas, Simon Says Stamps, shaker card, Christmas, Holiday

This is the inside of the card.  I did the two stamp technique on the inside using the oranment from the Shimmering Christmas stamp set.  I then stamped the Merry Christmas sentiment also from the Shimmering Christmas stamp set.

I hope you were inspired and was able to get this set, remember this is while supplies last!

Thursday, November 21, 2019

Hello everyone!

I am here with Rinea bringing everyone some Holiday Cheer! I believe Winter will be here soon, it has started getting cold here. I used the Rinea Sapphire/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper, and Rinea Silver/Silver Starstruck Solid Pack to create my card.

Here is how I created my card:

My card is an A2 card, The tree is a die and I die cut it with Rinea Sapphire/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper foiled paper. My layer I used the Rinea Silver/Silver Starstruck Solid Pack foiled paper. Rinea - Merry Christmas Tags

Tuesday, December 4, 2018

Hello everyone!

I am here with Rinea to share some cute Christmas tags created with the Rinea Foiled Papers.  These are perfect for the gifts that you have to wrap for the holidays!  Can you believe Christmas is just 23 days away?  Have you finished your shopping and making you cards?

For my tags I am using the Rinea Artist's Packs Variety Frosted and Variety Jolly.  These are beautiful holiday colors and would be perfect for any holiday project you may have!

Here is how I created my tags:

1.  I die cut all the elements for the tags.

2.  I used liquid glue to adhere all he pieces to my tag.

3.  For the candy cane tag and the Christmas tree tag, I used dies to create the images, using the Rinea Foiled Jolly paper.  I used some foiled paper in the background so the images would stand out.  I added some rhinestones on the candy cane tag and the Christmas tag along with a snowflake at the top of the tree.  The beautiful blue tag created with the Rinea Foiled paper Frosted I added some snowflakes die cut with the foiled paper.  I added some dew drops in the center of the snowflakes.

4.  To finish the tags off, I added the strings by using foiled paper.

Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps - A Warm Winter

Monday, November 12, 2018

Hello everyone!

I am here with Crackerbox & Suzy stamps to share with you a holiday card! I am writing this post while I am on a mini vacation in Florida, and I am definitely not ready for the cold raining and snowy weather.  It was 85 degrees here today and back at home tonight it is going to be in the low 30's.  I am not ready to go back home!

I am using three of the newly released Crackerbox & Suzy stamps on my card, the melting snowman is adorable, it is called Snowman Melting, the sentiments are sold separately, the "wishing you a" is called Wishing You and the "warm winter" is called Warm Winter Wishes.  The links to these stamps are below in the supply list.

Here is how I created my card:

I started with an A2 card, I then die cut the silver glimmer paper with a snowflake background die.  I then stamped the Snowman Melting stamp and colored him with Copics.  I then die cut him with a circle die and layered it with navy blue cardstock.  I then stamped the sentiments and cut them out and adhered everything to my card.  I added some nuvo black drops to the snowman to give it dimension. I added a snowflake to the snowman's hat that was leftover from the background snowflake die.

Another view of the card.
