Warm Cozy Wishes

Wednesday, November 6, 2019

Hello Coffee Lovers!

I'm here again sharing another coffee card for the 2019 Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop . The image on my card is made by Stampendous called Sharing a Sip.  Love this image and I collect the House Mouse series of stamps from Stampendous, so I was to happy to ink this stamp up.  The sentiment is from Brutus Monroe's stamp set called Cozy Coffee.

Here is how I created my card:

My card is an A2 card, I cut the top layer at 4 1/4 and 5 1/2 and adhered it to my card.  I stamped the image with black memento ink, I colored the image with Copics (cup Y03, 17 and 68, Mice, W1, 3, 5, E50, 51, and 11, R85, Hat R24, 47, 59).  I die cut the image with a stitched die, and adhered it to the card base.

Joy Clair - It's the Season Event

Friday, November 2, 2018

Hello everyone!

Thank you for stopping by to join the Joy Clair "It's the Season" Event.  The design team is sharing some holiday cards for your inspiration.  I am using the newly released set called "Snowy Greetings".  This is such a cute set, it has a set of snowmen in it and a stand alone one with several sentiments.

Here is my card and how I created it.

My card is an A2 card, I die cut a frame for the snowman and cut a panel for the back.  I used the snow stamp in the Snowy Greetings set and stamped it using some white pigment ink.  I used my scan and cut to cut the snowmen out, colored them with copics, I added clear wink of stella on the scarfs,  and ebony nuvo drops on the snowmen's eyes.  I used a snow marker to add some puffy snow on the snowmen caps.  I used foam tape to pop the snowmen on the card.

I HAVE TWO POST TODAY, IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE A2Z SCRAPBOOKING POST, CLICK HERE
Hello everyone,

I am here with Joy Clair playing along with the Fall Coffee Lover's Blog Hop!  Joy Clair is a Super Sponsor for the first time and you have a chance to win a gift card to spend at the Joy Clair's store.

Joy Clair has several stamp sets, a bible journaling line called "Color by Faith" and custom stamps. Stop over and check out their blog and see what the design team has created.

I am using the "My Cup Runneth Over" stamp set and the "Hello Autumn" set to create my card.

How I created my card,

1.  Base of the card is A2, 4 1/4 x 5 1/2,
2.  I used a stitched die for the white layer,
3.  I put some low tack artist tape around the edges and used distress inks to make the background,
4, I added the leaves around the card from the Joy Clair stamp set "Hello Autumn"  with Memento rich cocoa ink before I picked up the painters tape,
5.  I stamped the coffee cups from the Joy Clair "My Cup Runneth Over" stamp set with black memento ink,
6,  I fuzzy cut the cups using only the two bottom cups,
7.  I colored them with copics and added wink of stella for some glimmer,
8.  I added gold splatter to the layer,
9.  I used foam tape and popped the cups on the card,
10.  I finished the card by adding the sentiment from the "Hello Autumn" stamp set.

Joy Clair Butterfly Wishes - Thinking of You

Thursday, August 25, 2016

Hello everyone,

It's Donna here, have you been celebrating all month with Joy Clair one year anniversary? Have you purchased any of the $10.00 sets from their first releases from August 2015?  You still have time, hop on over to the store and get some of these wonderful stamp sets.  Here is an image of the sets and you can find all of these in the Joy Clair store.

On to my card for today, I am featuring the Butterfly Kisses stamp set which was released this month.  This stamp has so beautiful butterflies that you can use on your project for all kinds of occasions.  The sentiments in the set are very nice!  I love the script and looks beautiful on any card.  My card is clean and simple. I stamped the butterfly three times, stamping over the edge of my card with the first and last.  I stamped the middle butterfly again and fuzzy cut it out and popped it up on the card.  I colored them with wink of stella markers.  In the second picture, I tried to take a picture closer to show the shimmer.  I finished the card off by adding some twine from my stash.

There is still time to play along with the Joy Clair August challenge - the theme is Inspirational/Color challenge and you have until August 31!
