Rinea - Congrats!

Thursday, June 21, 2018

Hello everyone!

I am back with Rinea, to share with you a graduation card. It's the time of year that everyone knows someone graduating, so I hope I will inspire you to make a special person to you a graduation card. I am featuring masculine cards, but I think this card could go either way. I just love the rich colors of the gold and red foil papers from the Magical Variety Pack, it goes so well together. I can just image beautiful Christmas cards using this pack! I think the possibilities are endless.

Another view of the card.

Here is how I made my card:

I used an SVG file using my Silhouette to die cut the base of the card and all the elements using Rinea foiled paper from the Magical Variety Pack,

I then used adhesive to add all the elements to the base of the card,

I made the tassel out of twine from my stash attached it with a large brad from my stash,

I stamped the sentiment, die cut it, and added it to my card.

I think my card is clean and simple, but any graduate I hope will love to receive it! This Magical Variety Pack is perfect for any occasion, please stop by Rinea blog to see all the wonderful creations created by the design team!

Thanks for stopping by, please come back again soon.

New Release with Joy Clair

Monday, May 7, 2018

Hello everyone!

I am here with Joy Clair showcasing the new stamp set called "Mother's Day Love" and "Life's a Breeze" stamp sets! I love these sets, they are so versatile!

I started out with using a 4 x 5 1/2 layer, I created the grass with distress ink and then created the sky. I used my scan and cut and cut the bears out and colored them with the Leisure Arts colored pencils. I cut a couple of the kites out with the Life's a Breeze stamp set, colored them with colored pencils and added them to my card with some twine from my stash. I finished the card off by adding the sun and sentiment.

a2z Scrapbooking - Hero Arts You're So Lovely

Friday, September 9, 2016

Hello everyone,

It's September and a2z Scrapbooking has a new challenge!  The new challenge is "Make It A Tag"!  Doesn't that sound like fun!  I can't remember ever making a tag on a card and this is fun....I hope you will join in on the fun challenge.  You have to use at least one Hero Arts image on your card. Please go to the a2z blog and see what the talented design team has created. You can add your project to the inlinkz  here.

I am using the Hero Arts You're So Lovely stamp set.  The tag is the new Hero Arts Nesting Tag Dies.  I die cut the second tag out of white card stock, then backed it with black card stock.  I stamped two of the large flowers and one small one on my tag using the Hero Arts Raspberry Jam ink.  Oh my, how I love this color!  I then stamped the leaves using Hero Arts Pine and Moss inks.  I stamped the sentiment using Hero Arts black ink.  To finish the tag off I added some black splattered ink and rhinestones.

Here is my take on the tag challenge:

If you like any of the products I used on my card, please stop over at the a2z Scrapbooking Esty store. You can also use the code "Donna15" to receive 15% off of a $25.00 order.

I hope I have inspired you to join the challenge this month! You will have a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to the store! Good luck and please come back again soon!

Joy Clair - Congratulations!

Wednesday, May 25, 2016

Hello everyone,

I am here with Joy Clair featuring their new stamp set for May.  It is called "Oh Baby".  Earlier in the month, I told you this was by far one of my favorite stamp sets; well I really have confirmed it now. You can use this stamp set for graduations from college,  high school, or a new job, or if you just want to congratulate someone for something.  I have a graduation card; this is the time of year for college and high school graduations, perfect card and perfect sentiment in the set
.
My card is a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4.  The gold layer is 5 x 4 and the design paper is 4 7/8 x 3 7/8.  I stamped the sentiment with versamark and added gold embossing powder.  I used my heat tool to emboss.  I adhered the black stripe to my card and added the graduation cap.  My card is a very easy and simple card.

I hope you enjoyed my card, you may want to hop on over to the store and get this set, it is on sale and you don't want to miss out!
