Hello Friend - Gina K designs

Hello everyone,

I don't know if you noticed the store has been closed all week, because Gina K Designs is moving to a new location but the store will be open tomorrow! I don't know about you, but I cannot wait. I have been going through withdrawals.

I'm stopping in to share a card I created with Gina K. Stamps "Hello Friend". This is a brand new incentive stamp set that was release with the StampTV kit Sending Love kit. The stamp set ships free with any $75.00 order! This set will ship automatically without adding to your cart.

Here is the card I created. I embossed the two flowers and leaves randomly on vellum with white embossing powder. The vellum is thick and it's great for heat embossing. I colored the flowers and leaves with copic markers on the back side of the vellum. I love the way the colors peak out of the white embossed flowers and leaves. I then adhered the vellum piece on the Gina K's Pure Luxury cardstock Turquoise Sea. I finished my card with adding dew drops that match perfect with the cardstock.

Hello everyone!

This is my first post as a Gina K Design Team member!!! I am very excited for this opportunity and I hope that I will inspire you in your crafting endeavors. I am also excited about the opportunity to share with all of you the new "Sending Love" Stamp Kit!!!

The Cast and Crew for Gina K Designs welcomes you also to another fabulous blog hop celebrating the new “Sending Love” StampTV Kit. We hope to inspire you with a variety of different techniques and styles used by our Design Team featuring the stamp sets and patterned paper pack from this new kit. We hope that you enjoy these beautiful card projects as you hop along today.

The first set is called, “Art from the Heart”. Art from the Heart features an eclectic variety of images and greetings depicting crafts, art, shopping and my little Village Paper & Ink Shop!

The second set is called, “Sending Love”. Sending Love features spring flowers and butterflies, perfect for watercoloring, Copic markers, colored pencils and more!

My first card I stamped an image from the "Art from the Heart" set. I stamped my image twice and colored them with copics. I cut out the flower pedal, added some "wink of stella" to give the flower a shimmer, off centered it and popped it up on the stamped image. I finished my card off with a sentiment. Very clean and simple, but I love how it came out.

My second card is from the Sending Love stamp set. I taped off about 1/2 off with painters tape and inked Gina K's ink Jelly Bean Green, Bubblegum and Wild Lilac. I stamped the butterflies, colored them with copics and cut them out. I then stamped the butterflies on my inked piece of paper and then popped the butterflies on top. I finished it off with one of the beautiful sentiments in the set.
