Just Flittering by.....

Hello everyone,

It's a2z Scrapbooking's February challenge which is Masking.  What is masking ?  Masking is a basic stamping technique where you cover a stamped image so that other images could be placed over it. The images stamped over the mask will be behind the covered up image.  My card is not exactly masking, it is layering.  Hero Arts has a series of layering stamps and I love them.  I am using the Color Layering Butterflies.  I have used the ombre inks to stamp the butterfly.  I used the Lilac to Grape Purple for the first layer.  Then I stamped the second layer with the Grape color and the top layer with Pool to Navy.  I stamped the sentiment below the butterfly.  I cut the image out into a pendant shape.  My card is an A2 card, I used the Hero Arts Forest Floor Bold Print Cling.  I inked the stamp with VersaMark and layed my card on the stamp pressing firmly to get a nice clean image.  Here is my card.....

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you will join a2z Scrapbooking challenge this month.  Please make sure your project uses at least one Hero Arts product. Hello everyone,

Are you ready for some football today!  I'm not really a football fan, but my mom lives in Charlotte and they are so excited about their Panther's.  So I guess I can say, I hope the Panther's win!!!!

I am stopping in and playing along with the Mojo Monday #433 which is always a sketch.  It is the first of the month Challenge and there is always a prize. For every 50 entires, there will be a giveaway.  The giveaways are Verve Stamps and I love her stamps!!!!

My card is a Valentine card.  I love this time of year, because I love making cards.  The color's red and black just look so romantic together.  I am using the Stampin Up Stacked with Love paper stack. I cut the first layer and added a heart and my sentiment which is Verve stamp set Hundred Hearts.  My card is very clean and simple.  Here is my take on the sketch.

Thank you so much for stopping by, leave me a comment, I love reading them.   Please come back again soon!!!

I finished my card by adding the sentiment.  The sentiment is made by Impression Obsession.

Retro Rubber Challenge 31 - Feel the Love

Hello everyone!!

I’m here today for the first time with Retro Rubber Challenge Blog as a Design Team Member!!!  I am excited about being on this Design Team.  Most of you know I love joining challenges.  There are some very talented women on this Design Team and I am excited about being here.  Another exciting thing about this Challenge blog is you have to use a stamp that is at least a year old or older. You can find all the guidelines on the Retro Rubber Blog Challenge here.

Now onto the challenge, this challenge is a Valentine challenge, you should include Red, Pink and White on your project.  You will have until February 12th to join in on the fun!  Here is my take on the challenge:

I am using the stamp set from Lawn Fawn Snow Day.  My card is an A2 size, I embossed the front base of the card.  I used the Lawn Fawn Die set Stitched Journaling card to cut the front layer.  I added a piece across the bottom of the layer and stamped my sentiment.  I colored the cute bunnies with some copics and stamped the red heart with Arichival Ink Red Geranium.  I finished the card off with some twine and popped the journal card on the base of the card.

I hope I have inspired you to join the fun.  Hope on over to Retro Rubber Challenge Blog and link your project.  I can't wait to see your Valentine creation.

Warmest Thanks

Hello everyone,

I am back playing along with the Coolest Card Series, I am back tracking by playing along with week 2, which is Watercolor.  I am also playing along with MFT Color Challenge.  I watercolored my background on watercolor paper with Stampin Up inks.  I cut my mittens out with the die-namics warm and fuzzy using the MFT Peach Bellini and Pure Plum and then stamped the top of the mittens from the winter warmth stamp set. I stamped a variety of snowflakes from MFT stamp sets with Versafine and embossed them with Hero Arts fine white embossing powder.  I added my sentiment from the Hug in a Mug stamp set and cut it out with one of the dies in Blueprint 12.
