Thanks So Much

Hello everyone,

I am popping for a quick post.  I am joining  Freshly Made Sketches and CAS-ology Challenges with a clean and simple card.  For the CAS card I used a decorative paper and limited layers and no embellishments.  My card is an A2 card, I used the Lotus Blossom stamp set from Stampin Up.  The flower is a three step stamp using the same color ink.  The sentiment is from Stampin Up's Another Thank You.

Thanks for stopping by, please come back again soon.

Happy Birthday!

Hello everyone!!!

I'm back with the  March Challenge with a2z Scrapbooking. Our new challenge is sure to bring about some bright colors!! Our challenge this month is Color It In!! Use any Hero Arts product to create a beautiful colored in piece. There are so many possibilities and so many different mediums that you can use for this challenge.

My card is an A2 card, the base of the card is Hero Arts layering paper. I used the numbers background stencil and sponged many bright colored Hero Arts ink to make it. I then stamped the birthday cake using the Hero Arts Stamp and Cut Birthday. I then stamped the inside of the cake with Hero Arts inks. I cut out the cake and popped it up on vellum. The sentiment is also from the Hero Arts Stamp and Cut set. I finished the card off with Hero Arts rhinestones. I love these sets, it's like buying a whole outfit, you have everything you need in the package.

Hello There - Pals Paper Art 244

Hello all,

I am back again with another challenge post.  I hope you all had a very nice weekend and the start of your week is going well.  Saturday I attend a crop, so I was able to get a few cards done. I am playing along with Pals Paper Art sketch challenge.  I love sketch challenges.  Here is my take on their sketch.  The paper I used is Stampin Up's DSP called Best Year Ever.  The base of the card is Stampin Up's Soft Suede.  I used the Stampin Up stamp set called "Hello There" and cut it out with the circle 2 1/4 inch circle punch and layered it with soft suede.  For the middle of the card, I embossed the Coastal Cabana CS with the "Arrows Textured Impression" embossing folder and adhered it to my card.

Hello - Color Throwdown #334

Hello again,

I am playing along with the Color Throwdown today.  This is a color challenge, love the color combo, I would have never thought about putting these colors together.  Here is my card for the color challenge.  For the base of my card, I used Stampin Up cardstock Tangelo Twist, I cut out the MFT background  die-namics Floral Fusion Cover Up  out with Night of Navy and adhered it to the base of the card. I die cut the Lawn Fawn "Hello" out with pink pirouette.  I cut out the circle out of vellum to the "hello" would stand out.  Added a few candy dots to finish my card.

Just Saying.....Hello

Hello everyone,

I am back again this week playing along with the ColourQ Challenge.  I love the sophisticated colors they chose in their color challenge.  I had popped in last week and wanted to play, but I had missed the deadline.  I was checking to see if the new challenge had posted and they have extended the deadline. Great for me!!!!  I am using the layout in the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.

Here is my take on each challenge.  I am using the Authentique 6x6 paper pad Classique: Beauty.  I cut the butterfly from the Memory Box Lunette Butterfly.  The papers were just perfect for the ColourQ Challenge.

Here is a closer look of the center.

Happy Spring

Hello everyone,

We are half way through the week, I hope you all are having a wonderful week.  I think Spring is definitely in the air.   I am playing along with Fusion's challenge this week.  My inspiration came from the sketch and the colors.

I embossed the base of the card with the Stampin Up Spring Flower Textured embossing folder, and layered it with Perfect Plum and Painted Bloom DSP.  The paper looks as though it has been watercolored, but it's printed paper.  I fussy cut the flower from the Crazy About You stamp set from Stampin Up and popped each layer up with pop dots.  Hope you enjoy looking at my card, leave me a comment on what you think, I love reading the comments.

Here is my inspiration from Fusion:

Happy Birthday - Card Sketch Challenge with Kiwi Lane Designs

Hello everyone,

I hope you all are enjoying your weekend.  I am here playing along with Kiwi Lane Designs Card Sketch. This is my first time playing with them.  I bought my first templates a few years ago at the Scrapbooking Expo in Centerville, VA.  I have not played with them, so I decided to play along with the card sketch. I used the Spooky Alley 12" borders and the Celebrate Assessories template's.   My granddaughter is going to a birthday party next weekend and needed a card.  Here is my take on the sketch.

Here is the sketch from Kiwi Lanes:
