Hello everyone!

I am here with A Blog Named Hero and the challenge this month is "New to Me".  This month, we are collaborating with the fabulous Right At Home and we are featuring their newly released stamp sets called  "How Have You Bean?" and "Cup of Joy".  Please stop over at A Blog Named Hero to see all the lovely designs the design team has created.

Here is my card that I am sharing with you for the Challenge.

The background stamp is by Hero Arts called Marble Bold Prints.  This is my first time using the stamp set, so this is "new to me".  I inked the background stamp with versamark and used clear embossing powder and then heat embossed it.

I then stamped and die cut the coffee stamp from the Right at Home - Cup of Joy stamp set.  I cut a circle out of vellum and popped the cup on top of the vellum.  I added some twine and White Liquid Applique to the cup.

I stamped the sentiment from the Hero Arts Coffee Cup Tags and added it to my card.  I finished off my card with hearts from the Hero Arts Valentine and Three Hearts die set.

I hope you will join the challenge over at A Blog Named Hero.  You have until January 25th to link up your card! I can't wait to see what you create!!

Thanks for stopping by, please come back again soon.

Christmas Card Challenge Blog - #4 - Photo Challenge

Sunday, January 15, 2017

Hello everyone,

I am here with the Christmas Card Challenges and we have a new challenge and it is a "Photo Challenge". You can use the picture here for your inspiration:
Here is my card:

My card is an A2 card, I heat embossed with gold embossing powder.  The sentiment, is from a set from Gina K Designs called "Holly Jolly".  The gifts are die cut from a set from Close to my Heart called "Gift".  I finished the card off by adding some sequins.

I hope I have inspired you to join the challenge. You will have two weeks to complete your project. Check out the Christmas Card Challenges blog for more inspiration and to link your project.

CottageCutz - Puppy with Heart

Sunday, January 15, 2017

Hello everyone!

I am here with CottageCutz to share with you another Valentine card. There are 14 new released Valentine dies that have just been released, if you have not seen them, go over to the store and check them out.  Also, check out the CottageCutz blog to see the beautiful designs from the new release that the design team has created.  Oh and did I mention, they are 25% off right now!

I am using the Puppy with Heart 4x4 die, isn't he adorable and so easy to assemble. See below on how I put my card together.

Here is how I put my card together:
1.  My card is an A2 card (41/4 x 5 1/2),
2.  The next layer is 4 x 5 1/4,
3.  The square layer is the CottageCutz Double Stitched die, the largest one, then I cut the layer out 1/8 larger,
4.  The layers at the bottom are 4 1/4 x 7/8 and then a 1/8 smaller,
5.  I cut all the elements from the Puppy with Heart and inked the edges,

6.  I assembled the dog with glue and popped her up in the center of the card with pop dots.

Thank you so much for stopping by, please come back again soon.

Paper Smooches - Grande Hugs!

Saturday, January 14, 2017

Hello everyone,

I decided to take a little brake from my design team duties and play with a new die set and paper I just bought!  The paper is from Authentique and the collection is called "Beloved" the coffee die is from Paper Smooches called "Cozy Coffee" .  I thought the paper and coffee die went perfect together.  The pink, red and black really makes the card stand out.

If you know me I love anything coffee related and I just had to have this set.  This die is really cool, when you die cut the cup, you get the frame of the cup and each piece in the center is separate.  You can create whatever you want, you could die cut it with white card stock and color or use design paper like I have.

Thank you so much for stopping by, please come back again soon!
