Happy Mother's Day - a2z Scrapbooking Challenge

Hello everyone,

I am here with a2z Scrapbooking April's challenge.  The challnge this month is to use any kind of stencil.  My card is an A2 card, I am using the Hero Arts Leaf and Florish stencil which I inked through the stencil using the Hero Arts ink Bubble Gum.  I cut a 1/2 inch stripe and a 11/2 inch stripe and glued them together and adhered them to the top layer of my card.  I then cut two 1/2 inch stripes and cut on a diagonal and adhered them to the card and stamped my sentiment and heart on a small spellbinder circle and cut the layered large circle and adhered them together.  Finshed the card off with a rose and cut a small butterfly out using the Memory Box Leavenworth Butterfly trio.  Let's see what you can create.  Hop on over to a2z Scrapbooking and join in on the fun.  Here is my card:

April's Challenge with Mema's Crafts

Wow, March was very exciting over at Mema's Crafts.  AJ, was the winner of the March challenge and Sue from Susie Plant was the winner of the Prima Doll giveaway.  Thank you ALL who voted for my tag! I was the winner of the Prima Doll contest.  My tag came in first place and congratulations to Lisa for coming in second. Congratulations to everyone that won.  Everyone's projects and tags were so beautiful.

Now we have a new challenge going on over at Mema's Crafts.  Our sponsors this month is Rick St Dennis and Stitchy Bear.  The theme for April's challenge is use a Die, Punch or Fussy Cut.  I can't wait to see what you all create.

Here is my take on the challenge this month.  My first design is a digi from Stitchy Bear - 3 Amigos.  I colored the image with my prismacolor pencils and added a lot of different textures.  On the egg, I added some glossy accents, stickles, and wink of stella.  The image i used the Lil Inker's stitched circle die and cut it out with my big shot.

My second image is also a digi stamp created by Rick St Dennis, I used my computer to add the words.  I fuzzy cut the cup and pencils out, colored the cup and pencils also with my prismacolor pencils.  This will be a wonderful card for a teacher.

I hope you will take the time to join in on the fun, I cannot wait to see what you will design. Thanks for stopping by and please come back again!

Thank You - Fab Friday Challenge

Hello everyone,

I am so excited, my card was picked as one of the fab faves over at the Fab Friday Challenge 60. I have added their challenge logo on my sidebar. So, I am back again this week for their color challenge. Stop over on their blog and see all the nice projects for inspiration.  The colors were pretty tricky, but I think I have made them work. My base is an A2 size with soft sky stampin up paper. The flower is the Lotus Blossom stamped with Stampin Up's soft saffron ink.  I added the pear pizzazz ink for the steam and added pear pizzazz cardstock around the flower image.  I just added a splash of pink pirouette paper.  Here is my card:

Thank you for stopping by, I hope you take time to play along with the Fab Friday's challenge.  It is so much fun!

Thank You for Caring

Hello everyone,

I hope you are enjoying your weekend.  The sun is shining but it is still a little chilly outside.  I know Spring will be here soon.  I am stopping in to play along with Pals Paper Art color challenge.  Love these colors together.  I embossed my base A2 card with Stampin Up embossing folder decorative dots.  I embossed the top  layer with Stampin Up embossing folder Spring Flowers.  I cut a piece of the DSP and layered it in between the two solid Stampin Up colors and added the sentiment and rheinstones.   Here is my take on the challenge.

Thank You

Hello everyone,

I am stopping in to play along with the Fab Friday Sketch challenge.  I have never played along with them before.  I was surfing the internet and ran across their blog.  It's always so fun to find challenges that you have never participated in.  Their challenges are geared toward Stampin Up and I love Stampin Up products.  Here is my take on their challenge.  My card is an A2 card, I cut three different pattern papers from the DSP Moonlight Paper Stack, I added a solid layer to give the card more depth and stamped and embossed the base of my card.  I stamped the "Thank You" from the "Another Thank You" by Stampin Up.  I also added some grunge to the background of thank you.  There is still time to play along if you want to join.

Here is the sketch that inspired my card:
