This collaboration is a series of hops that will be for six months featuring small stamp companies. If you hop along for the six month, you have a chance to win a $50 gift card to one of the sponsors.  This is our fifth month and the team is featuring shaped cards.  My card is a pumpkin shaped card using  Kat Scrappiness stamp set Thanksgiving Gnome .  Kat Scrappiness was a sponsor from last month.

Here is my card, the pumpkin shape I cut with my silhouette, I cut the SVG from the silhouette store.  I am using the Kat Scrappiness Thanksgiving Gnome set. I stamped and cut the images I wanted to use and colored them with copics.

SAME SET SYDROME FEATURING Create and Inkspire July 2020 Kit

Monday, August 31, 2020

Hello everyone!

Welcome to the Handmade Happiness Facebook Page Same Set Syndrome blog hop. Your NEXT stop is over on Instagram with Valerie Powell.

This collaboration is a series of hops that will be for six months featuring small stamp companies. This month we are using the Create and Inkspire July 2020 card kit here.  The August kit has been released also, it is very nice, especially if you love rainbow colors, you can see that one here.  Be sure to hop along to each person, there are a few kits that can be won, among some other prizes.

Here is my card for your inspiration:

My first card is an A2 card, I used some dies to die cut the layers, the top layer I used the stencil that came with the kit and ink blended the leaves on the background.  I used my misti to add the sentiment from the stamp set from the kit.  I stamped and colored the flowers with copics. I added some foam tape to the flowers and popped the flowers onto my card.  I added some embellishments and twine which is also included in the kit.

My second card is an A2 card also.  I used the paper from the kit to create the background.  I stamped and colored the flowers with copics.  I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set from the kit and heat embossed it in white.  I added velum onto my card, added the flowers and sentiment.  To finish off the card I added the embellishments that is also included in the kit.

I hope you have been inspired, thank you so much for stopping by, don't forget your next stop is Valerie Powell Instagram page.
