CHRISTMAS CARD CHALLENGE BLOG - #12 - PICTURE INSPIRATION

Sunday, May 7, 2017

Hello everyone,

I am here with the Christmas Card Challenges and we have a new challenge and it is a "picture Challenge". You can  use the picture here for your inspiration:

Here is my card:

My card is an A2 card, I started by creating some snow banks in the background, the Christmas tree image is from Penny Black called tannenbaum.  I stamped it with Stampin Up ink Always Artichoke.  I used a variety of nuvo drops to put the ornaments on the tree.  I used a white pen to scribble in some snow at the bottom of the tree and throughout the tree. I finished off my card by adding the sentiment from Penny Black stamp set peace & harmony.

I hope I have inspired you to join the challenge. You will have two weeks to complete your project. Check out the Christmas Card Challenges blog for more inspiration and to link your project.

Christmas Card Challenge - Inspirational Photo

Sunday, February 12, 2017

Hi everyone,

I am her with the Christmas Card Challenge, and the challenge is an inspirational photo, which is "horses in the snow".

Here is my card, I love how it turned out, I used distress inks to create the background.  After it dried, I splattered some white distress ink onto the background to seem like it is snowing.  I die cut the trees from Gina Maria Designs Dies - Tree Frames, and added to the background.  I then die cut the horse and buggy twice from the CottageCutz Horse w/Sleigh, I used two because I wanted to give the card dimension.  I then die cut the pennant and then heat embossed the sentiment from Avery Elle Snow Much Fun stamp set.

I hope I have inspired you to join the challenge. You will have two weeks to complete your project. Check out the Christmas Card Challenges blog for more inspiration and to link your project.

Christmas Card Challenges - Color Challenge

Sunday, January 1, 2017

Happy New Year everyone!

I am here with the Christmas Card Challenges and we have a new challenge for the new year and it is a "color challenge".  Here is the picture for your inspiration:

Here is my card,it is a clean and simple card.   I don't know about you, but I love a card with wood-grain.  I have a whole collection of just wood grain-paper, whenever I see it I have to buy it. I used the image from a 6x6 pad called Sleigh Bells Ring by MME.  I centered my image to an A2 card and glued it down.  I added the sentiment from Penny Black's die called exculations.  I finished off my card by adding some sequins.

I hope I have inspired you to join the challenge.  You will have two weeks to complete your project. Check out the Christmas Card Challenges blog for more inspiration and to link your project.
