Retro Rubber Challenge Blog #117 - Anything Goes

Tuesday, August 13, 2019

Hello everyone!

I am here with Retro Rubber Challenge blog and we have a new challenge, which is "Anything Goes"!  I love challenges with anything goes, because you can create anything you would like!

If you have not joined our challenges before, the rules are very simple, just use a stamp older than a year and you must include the age (or approximate age) of the stamp in your blog post. I cannot wait to see you take on it.

Here is my card, I have had this Memory Box butterfly die called "Fairyland Butterflies" in my stash for a lot of years and decided to pull it out.  I took some watercolor paper and inked it up with distress inks.  I then die cut the butterflies out.  I took a white panel measuring 4 x 5 1/4 and die cut the butterflies out again.  I adhered it to the base of my card and then added the butterflies, I added the sentiment from the Altenew stamp set called "Many Thanks" which was released in January of 2018.  I finished my card off by adding some sequins to coordinate with the colors of the butterflies.

Coffee Lover's Hop

Friday, March 25, 2016

Hello everyone,

I decided to make one more card for the Coffee Lover's Hop.  I have been wanting to use this stamp set by Memory Box, Bunny Tea Time.  It is so adorable!  I have been playing around with watercolor and decided to make my background with it.  I used the distress inks to create may background.  I added some splatter and finished the card off with sequins.  What is a card without sequins?

Thanks so much for stopping by.  If you like my card leave me a comment, I love reading them. Please come back again soon!
