Joy Clair Stamps with the Cutting Edge

Tuesday, April 9, 2019

Hello everyone!

I am here with Joy Clair Stamps and we are collaborating with The Cutting Café the whole month of April.  Be sure to check out the Joy Clair blog for more inspiration!  The great thing about the Cutting Café is you don't have to have a cutting machine, the designs come in all different types of files and you can just print it on your printer and cut the design out.  Each design has instruction on how to put your project together.  How fun is that!

I have used the cutting file called Coffee Cup Holder template, I used my silhouette to cut the file.  I used a 12 x 12 sheet of cardstock from my stash to cut all the pieces I needed to put my cup holder together.

I then used a strong adhesive liquid glue to adhere all my pieces together.

Here are the two square boxes needed to put the cups in.

I then adhered the two handles together and adhered the handle to both sides of the boxes.

I cut the two stripes out of designer paper and adhered it around the cup holder.

I used my scan and cut to cut two solid coffee cup wrappers.  I stamped them with the Joy Clair Coffee to Go Background stamp and adhered them to each cup.

Here is the cup holder put together with the coffee cups inside.  I decorated the outside of the cup using Joy Clair Stamp set Easter Greetings.  I colored the flowers using copic markers and stamped the black veramark ink.

Another view of the coffee cup holder.  Inside I filled the cups with candy.  I bought the 12 oz cups from Party City.

Here is a closer look at the cups, the wrapper around the cup, I stamped with Coffee to Go Background stamp, the images on the cup I stamped with black memento ink and colored them with copics.  The cute chick on the left is from the Joy Clair Happy Easter stamp set.  TheEaster eggs on the right cup and the sentiment on both of the cups is from the Joy Clair Easter Eggs stamp set.

I hope I have inspired you and you get busy working on some Easter projects for your friends and family.  The Cutting Edge has lots of projects for Easter and other occasions.  Be sure to stop by their store.

Retarte Challenge 88 - Anything Goes (Cutting Cafe)

I HAVE THREE POST TODAY, IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR GINA K BLOG HOP, PLEASE CLICK HERE, A2Z Scrapbooking click here.

Hello everyone,

I am here with Retarte Challenge Blog featuring "The Cutting Cafe" which has printable stamps and cutting files.  They also have custom clear photopolymers stamps and other items in their store.  I have been a fan of The Cutting Cafe for many years.  Today I am using the Halloween and Fall Shaker Cards - Templates and Cutting Files.  There are 5 different shakers in this set with lots of sentiments for every shaker.  I am using the Boo Word Shaker Set.  There are seven sentiments with this file.

If you did not know, the challenges for Retarte are always "anything goes", so I hope you will stop by and join in on the fun.

Here is my card I created.  I cut all the pieces out with my Silhouette.  The instructions are so great in the cutting files.  Also, if you don't have a silhouette, there are PDF files you can just cut any of the items with scissors.

I adhered the white piece onto the orange part of my card.  I added some foam tape onto the white part and added my sequins.  I adhered some clear film onto the black piece of the card and adhered it to my card.  So quick and simple!  Love these shakers.

Closer look at the card.  Don't you love the sequins in the shaker.  Do you see the ghost?

Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you will join the challenge.
