Newton's Nook Designs - Noel

Tuesday, November 26, 2024

Hello everyone!

Today I am on the Newton's Nook Designs Blog showcasing a fun way to use paper scraps to create my card. I had so much fun creating this card.

My card features papers from our Canine Christmas and Christmas Time Paper Pads. I used my scraps and cut them out using the A2 Card Layout Die Set.

I used the Christmas Word Trio Die Set to die cut the "noel" sentiment with the stitched banner edge. This die fits perfectly inside the center window of the A2 Card Layout Die Set!

I hope you were inspired to create this card.  It is a simple card to mass produce for your Christmas cards this year.

Thanks for stopping by, please come back again soon.

MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE BLOG (MLCCB) - Noel

Tuesday, November 1, 2022

Hello everyone!

I'm here with a new challenge with the Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog. I hope you will come play along with the Christmas Challenge. It will run for six weeks, ending at 4:00 PM Mountain Time on the 15th of next month, so get out your crafty Christmas stash and come play with us!

Here is my card for your inspiration:

My card is an A2 top folding card.  I am using Taylored Expressions Foil It - Noel and Noel Stencil & Clear Combo.  I used Gold Deco Foil Transfer Sheets which I used with my Minc Machine.  I used Gina K. Designs inks with the stencil (Spruce Dark, Spruce Light, Dark and Light Carnation).  I die cut the foil layer with TE Stitched Rectangle Stacklets and added the gold layer with a Scallop Die from my stash.  Finished off the card by adding TE Gold Drip Drops.

I hope I have inspired you to play along with the Merry Little Christmas Challenge. The theme is always Christmas...perfect time to get some Christmas cards done to send out during the holiday.

Thank you for stopping by, please come play along!
