MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE BLOG (MLCCB) - Happy Holidays

Sunday, September 1, 2024

Hello everyone!

I'm here with a new challenge with the Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog. I hope you will come play along with the Christmas Challenge. It will run for six weeks, ending at 4:00 PM Mountain Time on the 15th of next month, so get out your crafty Christmas stash and come play with us!

Here is my card for your inspiration:

I am using a paper pad from my stash from Michaels from the Recollection collection.  I bought this paper last year and I cannot remember the name.  The wreath is from some ephemera that matches the paper pad.  I laid a piece of vellum on top of the top layer to mute the design a little and then added the wreath.

Thank you so much for stopping by, please come back again soon.  Please join the Merry Little Christmas Challenge, it is so much fun and you can build your Christmas cards for the year.

Donna Idlet, Merry Little Christmas Challenge, Scrapbook and Cards today, Merry Christmas Wishes, stencil, ink blending

I created this beautiful card that I created in an event with Scrapbook & Cards today.  It is a kit that was filled with lots of goodies to make many Christmas cards.  The event was called Merry Christmas Wishes.

My card was created by stamping the poinsettia and leaves then ink blending it using a stencil.  I die cut the word "wishes", stamped and heat embossed the word "Christmas", cut several strips of paper to create the pattern in the middle of the card.  I assembled the card and love how it turned out.

Thank you so much for stopping g by, please come back again soon.  I hope you will play along with the challenge.

I am using Trinity Stamps "Holiday Hang Out" Stamp set.  I stamped the image and colored it with copics.  I then added the sentiment from the Holiday Hang Out Stamp Set.  I die cut the image using a die from my stash.  For the background I hot foiled it using Honey Bee Stamps Plaid A2 Hot Foil Plate.  For finishing touches I added some fine glitter onto the ornament and sequins.

Thank you so much for stopping g by, please come back again soon.

I am using Gina K. Designs "Winter Wishes" Stamp set.  I stamped the words on the blue cardstock using GKD Embossing and Watermark ink and embossed it with GKD Detail Silver embossing powder.  For the background I used GKD Snowflake Embossing Folder.  The snowflake is from Lawn Fawn.  I die cut the layers using GKD Master Layouts 1.  I love this stamp set, so many ways to create with this set.

Thank you so much for stopping g by, please come back again soon.
