#PaperCraftersUniteAgainstRacism - Friendship Has No Color!

Hello everyone!

Today I am sharing this card as a part of the #papercraftersuniteagainstracism Instagram Hop!! My card is created using Dare2bArtzy Stencil in the background and the sentiment is from the stamp set called "We Stand With You", which was a collaboration of several companies from the Stamping Village. They believe in speaking up against racial, social and economic injustice.

I am honored to be a part of the #papercraftersuniteagainstracism. This is an important because racism will touch EVERYONE'S lives in some form or another. If everyone learns how to treat each other with respect, equally and understand "the hand of friendship has no color" the world would be a better place.

Here is how I created the card.

1. Card is an A2 card measuring 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.

2. Die cut the top panel using with a stitched rectangle from my stash.

3. Used the Dar2bArtzy "Hands Stencil" to ink blend the background with rainbow colors.

 4.  Stamped the sentiment from the "We Stand With You" stamp set in rainbow colors and die cut with a stitched rectangle die from my stash.

4.  Assembled the card and added some enamel dots to finish off the card.

Lawn Fawn - Happy Bee-Day!

Hello everyone!

I received the Hive Five Kit from Lawn Fawn yesterday and could not wait to get it inky!  It's a gloomy day today and I was looking at the samples on Lawn Fawn's store and saw Mindy Eggen's background and could not help myself to do a rainbow background too.   

I just looked in the store and the kit has sold out. I hope you were able to get it. If you did not get an opportunity to get it, you can get notified when the set is back in stock.

If you haven't seen Kelly the owner of Lawn Fawn and Jenn Shurkus is having another fun craft and chat on Friday, July 15 at 4PM Pacific Daylight featuring the Hive Five Kit! Here is how I created the card:

1.  Card is an A2 card, measuring 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.

2.  Background paper is from the 6x6 Really Rainbow petite paper pack, I die cut the panel using LF Large Stitched Rectangle Dies (5 1/2 X 4 1/4).  The white panel is die cut from the LF Small Stitched Rectangle Stackable (5 X 3 3/4).  

3.  Ink blended the background using the honeycomb stencil and GKD Inks.

4.  Stamped, die cut and colored the images using Copic colors.

5.  Assembled the card.

GINA K. DESIGNS -JUNE 2022 RELEASE

Hello everyone!

I am excited to be here sharing a couple of cards I created from the Gina K. Designs NEWLY June 2022 release, that is available NOW. I am using the NEWLY released "Sympathy and Love" stamp set and coordinating dies illustrated by Beth Silaika.

Here are my cards for your inspiration:

My first card is an A2 card, I cut the layers using the GKD Master Layouts 2.  I stamped the butterflies from the "Sympathy and Love" stamp set with the new Carnation Inks, and then stamped the sentiment from the "Sympathy and Love" stamp set, I stamped it with black ink and then embossed it with clear embossing powder.  

My second card, I used the wreath builder template and used the smallest butterfly from the "Sympathy and Love" stamp set and stamped them in rainbow color.  I stamped the sentiment from the "Sympathy and Love" stamp set.

Kat Scrappiness - Rainbow Hugs

Hello everyone!

I am here with Kat Scrappiness featuring the NEWLY released "Floating Dots" 6x6 Stencil using Deco Foil Transfer Gel, Duo.  I am also using the KS Rainbow Hugs Sentiment W/Shadow and Hello Brush Script Word dies.  I have created two cards using the stencil with Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo and foil.  

Here is my first card:

1.  A2 card measuring 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.

2.  Top layer measures 3 7/8 x 5.

3.  Added Deco Foil Gel to the stencil.

4.  Added the foil, shinny side down and ran it through the minc.

5.  Die cut the Rainbow Hugs Sentiment W/Shadow die from ink blended paper, and die cut the shadow with vellum, added a plum pearl for the tittle on the "i".

6. Assembled the card.

My second card is created using the reverse piece from the top card.  

1.  Used Thermoweb's toner paper with the reverse piece, again putting the shinny side onto the toner paper.  

2.  Ran it through the minc and adhered it to an A2 card.  

3.  Die cut the Hello Brush Script Word and adhered it to the card and added glossy accent.

Kat Scrappiness - Birthday Wishes

Hello everyone!

I am here with Kat Scrappiness sharing a bright and cheerful birthday card.  I love all the bold colors from the Birthday Essentials 6x8 paper pad from Kat Scrappiness.  This card I think will brighten anyone's day if they received it.

Here is how I created my card:

• Created an A2 card measuring 4 2/4 x 5 1/2.
• Die cut the top layer using Birthday Essentials paper with KS Embossed Edge Rectangle die.  
• Cut the start paper from the Birthday Essentials paper pad at 3 x 4 1/4.
• Cut the top layer with the Embossed Edge Rectangle, created some clouds in rainbow colors.
• Stamped and die cut the bunny from the KS Hoppity Bunnies Stamp Set, added a MINI Action Wobble Spring to the back for an interactive card.
• Die cut the Birthday from the KS Happy Birthday with shadow die.
• Die cut the Birthday from the KS Christmas Wishes Word dies w/shadow
• The sentiment is from the KS Hippity Hoppity Sentiments stamp Set, stamped and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.  Die cut the sentiment using KS Box Sentiment Dies.
• Die cut the basket using the Hop Into Easter paper, the grass, the bunnies and bow using the Crafters Essentials - Easter Edition Dies.
• Stamped, die cut and colored the cute bunny image from the KS Hoppity Bunnies Stamp.
• Stamped and heat embossed with white embossing powder from the sentiment from the Hippity Hoppity sentiment stamp set.
• Assembled the card.

Newton's Nook Designs - Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Hello everyone!

I am here with Newton's Nook to share this cute card I created using the stamp set "Newton's Pot of Gold". This is a 3 x 4 stamp set that can be used to send someone a Happy St. Patrick's Day card, but can also be used to send some one a good luck card.

 

Here is how I created my card:

• Card is an A2 card which measures 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.
• Stamped the image of the kitty with the pot of gold and colored it using Copic markers.
• Added glued some small sequins for the pot of gold into the pot. Added some gold stickles to the pot. Sat this aside to dry.
• Cut the top panel 4 x 5 1/4, used the Hills and Grass stencil to create the grass and ink blended the background with light blue ink for the sky.
• Stamped the sentiment from the "Newton's Pot of Gold" Stamp Set.
• Cut 1/8 inch strips in rainbow colors and glued them together.
• Die cut some clouds from the Sky Scene Builder Die Set, used foam tape to pop the clouds up onto the card.
• Assembled the card, added some gold sequins to finish off the card.

Newton's Nook Designs - January Reveal Day 3

Hello everyone!

Welcome back to Day 3 of the January 2022 Newton's Nook product reveal. The design team is featuring the Heartfelt Meows and Heartfelt Woofs stamp sets.  I'm in love with these heart shape dogs and cats heart stamp sets.  These heart stamps work well with Newton's Nook Heart Frames Dies and Banner Trio Dies, which you can find here.

Here are my cards for your inspiration:

Here is how I created it:

• Cut & Score black A2 Card Base: 4 1/4″ x 5 1/5″ (4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″).
• Cut the pattern paper from the Love & Meows Paper Pad and layered with gray cardstock.
• Stamped the image from the Newton's Nook Heartfelt Meows and colored with copics.
• Die cut the Heartfelt Meow Image using the Heart Frames Die Set.
• Stamped the sentiment from the Heartfelt Meows stamp set, and die cut with the banner from the A7 Frames & Banners Die Set.
• Assembled the card.

Here is how I created it:

• Cut & Score black A2 Card Base: 4 1/4″ x 5 1/5″ (4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″).
• Die cut the black layer from the Newton's Nook Frames and Flag Die.
• Cut a piece of white card stock and dry embossed with the Petite Hearts Stencil.
• Stamped and embossed the image from the Newton's Nook Heartfelt Woof stamp set. 
• Ink blended with distress inks.
• Stamped the sentiment from the Heartfelt Woof stamp set, and die cut with the banner from the A7 Frames & Banners Die Set.
• Assembled the card.

RETRO RUBBER CHALLENGE BLOG #155 - Somewhere Over the Rainbow

Hello everyone!

The rules to play along with Retro Rubber Challenge is very simple, make sure the stamp you use on your project is at least one year or older. For more details on the rules, you can find them over on Retro Rubber Challenge blog.

Here is my card for your inspiration. I am using Honey Bee stamps and dies to create my card. The sentiment is from the stamp set called Rainbow Wishes which was released in April 2019. The rainbow was cut from the coordinating dies to the stamp set called Rainbow Wishes cuts, and the background was created using Honey Bee's Radiant Circle Background.

My card is an A2 card, I cut the two layers using Gina K. Designs Master Layouts 1, I then die die cut the Honey Bee's Radiant Circle Background with the white layer and ink blended the background. I then die cut the rainbow in rainbow colors and die cut the clouds. I adhered everything together an then popped them up onto the card. I heat embossed the sentiment in white embossing powder and die cut the sentiment from the Rainbow Wishes cuts and adhered it to the card. I finished the card off by adding some rainbow enamel hearts to my card.

Kat Scrappiness - Happy Easter

 Hello everyone!

I am sharing a card I created using Kat Scrappiness Happy Easter with Shadow Die.  I love this die, it is bold and great for an A2 card.  I created a rainbow cloud background and added the shadow of the die with vellum and cut the word with cardstock.  I finished the card off by adding Kat Scrappiness Ice Ice Baby enamel dots.

I am so honored to be asked to design for The Stamping Village new stamp set called "We Stand By You"! This stamp set is all about injustices our nation have been facing. The Stamping Village is made up of 12 stamping companies, they are speaking up and speaking out for racial, social and economic injustices. I am so proud to have the privilege to be on the design team for Gina K. Designs.

The image and sentiment on this card is created by Gina K. Designs, I used the Gina K. Designs wreath builder to stamp the butterflies.  I used Gina K. inks to stamp the butterflies.  I added Gina K. Angel Aura sequins to the butterfly.  The hearts are by Avery Elle.

I'm using the Studio Katia rainbow image and sentiment, I randomly stamped the image and colored it with copics and added some 

This card, the hand images and sentiment is from Dare 2B Artzy.  I stamped the hands randomly, added some rainbow color stripes onto the panel die cut it with a stitched rectangle die and added the sentiment.



My last card the image is from Hero Arts and the sentiment is from Altenew.  I used Altenew Rainbow Washi tape to the background and cut it out with a stitched rectangle die.  I colored the image with copics, added the sentiment, cut it out with a stitched die and added it to my card.

Gina K. Designs June Monthly Mix Challenge - Congratulations

Hello everyone!

Welcome to the June 2020 Monthly Mix Challenge! This months challenge is called, “Graduation”. Graduation 2020 is going to be a bit different for High School and College Seniors. I have a few friends that have students graduating and thought I would get a head start on getting my cards done. If you know of someone graduating or has graduated make a card for the challenge and send it to them.

I decided to put a sentiment in the card and add the year at the bottom, to document the year.

I am using the new birthday rubber stamp called "Unicorn Sweetie" and the sentiment is "Friends Make Bright".  My card is an A2 card, I used distress inks to create my background and stamped the "Unicorn Sweetie" and the sentiment "Friends Make Bright"onto the layer of the card.  To finish my card off  by adding some heart enamel dots.
