Hello everyone!

I am here with Retro Rubber Challenge blog and we have a new challenge, which is an inspirational photo"dog days of summer"! I have created a card with a bouquet of flowers. Here is my card for your inspiration. I am using Dare2B Artzy stamp set called Refresh the Soul. The set was released in February 2018.



My card is a mini slimline card measuring 6 1/2” x 6 1/4”, score at 3 1/4”, I die cut the top layer with a scalloped stitched die by Kat Scrappiness.  I stamped and colored the image using copics.  I finished off the card by adding some enamel dots from my stash.

Hello everyone!

I am here with Kat Scrappiness, Inc., sharing a mini slimline card using the NEW coordinating die set to the fun Quokka'n Up Stamp set. The cut photo frame that I have the Quokka's in come with the coordinating die set. I am also using the Rainbow Confetti Slimline paper pad to create my card.

Here is my card for your inspiration.

Here are the steps to create this card:
  • Cut the White Slimline Card Base: 6″ x 3 1/2″ (6″ x 7″, scored at 3 1/2″).
  • Top layer cut using the Mini Slimline Embossed Edge Dies.
  • Cut Black Mat: 3 1/4″ x 5 11/16″
  • Cut piece of pattern paper from the Rainbow Confetti Paper Pad.
  • Stamp the Quokka’s from the Quokka'n Up stamp set, colored with copics. 
  • Die cut Quokka's from the Quokka'n Up coordinating die set. 
  • Assembled the card and finished off with adding the newly released Plum Pearl Mix to the card.  To see all the pearl embellishments, you can find them here. (pic of the pearls I used is below)

Retro Rubber Challenge Blog #165 - Mode of Transportation

Hello everyone!

I am here with Retro Rubber Challenge blog and we have a new challenge, which is "Mode of Transportation"!  I have created a cute car with my mode of transportation being a scooter. Here is my card for your inspiration. I am using Taylored Expressions stamp set called Gus & Gertie. The set was released in May 2020.


My card is an 4 1/4 x 5 1/2, I die cut the top layer with a stitched die and some deign paper from Lawn Fawn. I stamped and die cut the dog from the Gus & Gertie stamp set by Taylored Expressions.  I then die cut the elements for my card and assembled it.

Hello everyone!

I am here sharing a couple of cards from the August 2021 release by Gina K. Designs using the Bloom and Grow stamp and die set illustrated by Lisa Hetrick. Here are my cards for your inspiration:

My first card is a mini slimline card:
  • Card base measures 6 1/2” x 6 1/4”, score at 3 1/4”, top layer and bottom layer were cut using the Master Layouts 7.
  • Stamped and die cut the flower and leaves using the Bloom and Grow stamp set, die cut the pieces out and added them to my card.  
  • Added sentiment from the Stain Glass Flower stamp set.
  • Finish card by adding some GKD Dazzling Diamond embellishments.

My second card is an A2 size card :
  • Card base measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".
  • Black Layer and top layer, cut using Master Layouts 1.
  • Stamped the diamond shape element using the Bloom and Grow stamp set in a variety of colors using GKD Inks. 
  • Die cut the "Hello" by  GKD, die cut it three times and glued together, added it to my card.
  • Finish the card by adding some GKD Clear Quartz Solid Sequins.

KAT SCRAPPINESS AUGUST 2021 RELEASE - Happy Birthday!

Hello everyone!

I am here with Kat Scrappiness, Inc., sharing a mini slimline card using the newly released "Pearls", Blending Brushes and Embellishment spoon.  Love all these tools, they really helped me create my card.   The sentiment is from the Kat Scrappiness Happy Day stamp set.

There is still time to stock up on your enamel dots, they are on sale until August 15th.


Here is my card for your inspiration.


Here are the steps to create this card:
  • Cut the White Slimline Card Base: 6″ x 3 1/2″ (6″ x 7″, scored at 3 1/2″).
  • Top layer is cut using the Mini Slimline Tri-Frame Slimline Dies.
  • Die cut the rainbow from the Slimline Rainbow die using cardstock from my stash.
  • Die cut the Slimline Stitched Cloud Border Die.
  • Inked the background using the newly released detailed blending brushes.  I used the largest one.  
  • Assembled the card and finished off with adding the newly released pearl mix embellishments to the slimline rainbow.  To see all the pearl embellishments, you can find them here.  (pic of the pearls I used is below)

Hello everyone!

I am here with Retro Rubber Challenge blog and we have a new challenge, which is "Anything Goes"! I love challenges with anything goes, because you can create anything you would like! I have created a Summer themed card.  Be sure to stop over on the Retro Rubber Challenge blog to get more inspiration, the design team has some wonderful creations!

Here is my card for your inspiration. I am using Honey Bee stamp set called Flippin' Fabulous. The set was released in July 2020.


My card is an 4 1/4 x 5 1/2, I die cut the top layer with a stitched die and some deign paper from Honeybee.  I die cut the Flip Flop's from the Honeybee honey cuts Flip Flop Builder.  I stampd the sentiment from the Honeybee Flippin' Fabulous stamp set.  I finished off the card by adding some pearl dots from my stash.
