Retro Rubber Challenge Blog - One in a Melon

Hello everyone!

Here is my card for your inspiration. Who doesn't like Watermelon in the Summer.  I've created a card using a watermelon stencil by Taylored Expressions for the background.  The stencil is a 3 layering stencil called One in a Melon. The watermelon slice and sentiment is from Taylored Expressions Tutti Fruiti Stamp Set.  The stamp set was released July 2021.  The background frame is by Trinity Stamps called Dainty Scallop Rectangle.

Gina K. Designs - June 2023 Release

Hello everyone!

I am here today featuring the NEW Gina K. Designs "Decorative Dahlia" stamp set illustrated by Arjita Singh. This stamp set is so versitle, I love the large floral designs....you can create a background, create a slimline or stamp the image and color it.

Here are my cards for your inspiration:

I masked off the sides to ink blend the middle.  I used GKD medium and dark Lilac ink.  I then used GKD Black Onyx Ink to stamp the image and sentiment.  I added some black GKD pearls.

My second card.  I used the single dahlia stamp and stamped the background with rainbow colors.  The sentiment and word die is from the Create Friendship stamp set and the word die is from the Create Friendship Layering Bundle.

Newton's Nook Designs - You're One in a Melon!

Hello everyone!

I hope you are ready for Summertime! I am here with Newton's Nook Designs featuring an adorable stamp set called Newton's Melon with a coordinating die. The stamp set is a 2x3 set with Newton enjoying a taste of his watermelon. The sentiment is also from the stamp set and the background paper is from the Summertime Paper Pad. I love the watermelon paper it goes perfect with the image of Newton eating watermelon!

The circle is from the Circle Frames Die set, I used foam squares to add the image.

I finished the card off by adding glossy accents to the watermelon and enamel dots from my stash.

Retro Rubber Challenge Blog - Color Challenge

Hello everyone!

Here is my card for your inspiration. My card is an A2 card measuring 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I am using a cute stamp set from Lawn Fawn called "Simply Celebrate Summer" which was released in July 2020.

I created a rainbow of ice cream cones, by stamping the image and then coloring them with copic markers.  I die cut a piece of white cardstock with a stitched rectangle die and added the ice cream image with foam squares.  I stamped the sentiment below the ice cream and finished the card off by adding some sequins and glossy accents onto the ice cream.

Sweet n' Sassy Stamps - Seashell Greetings

 Hello everyone!

I am here with Sweet n' Sassy Stamps, I am featuring one of their new release stamps for the month of June called "Seashell Greetings".  You can find the whole release here.  

Here is my card for your inspiration.

I created an A2 card, the background is ink blended.  I die cut the shells from the "Seashell Greetings" stamp set and colored them with copics.  I stamped the sentiment and heat embossed with white embossing powder.  I finished off the card, by adding some embellishments from my stash.

I am playing along with the monthly Sweet 'N Sassy Stamps VIP Group on Facebook.  The challenge this month is Under the Sea THEME! You just need to use at least one SNSS product for a chance to WIN a prize. You can find the challenge details HERE.
