Hello everyone!

I am here with Retro Rubber Challenge blog and we have a new challenge, which is a Tic Tac Toe Challenge. My tic tac toe is Die cut or punch (the sentiment), Sequins/Gems and Spring.  Be sure to stop over on the Retro Rubber Challenge blog to get more inspiration, the design team has some wonderful creations!

Here is my card for your inspiration. I've created an A2 size card. The stamp set I am using from Jaded Blossom called "Floral Bunny Ears" that was released in March 2022. I stamped, die cut and colored the image with copics. The background is an embossing folder from my stash. I stamped and embossed the sentiment from Jaded Blossom "Blessed Easter" stamp set. I finished off the card by adding some pearl embellishments from my stash.

NEWTON'S NOOK DESIGNS - APRIL 2024 NEW RELEASE - REVEAL DAY 4

 

Hello everyone!

It's the last day of reveals over at Newtons Nook Designs, the NEWLY released products will be available tomorrow, Friday, April 19th. The design team will be featuring Newton’s Bubble Tea and Puppy’s Bubble Tea Stamp Sets with coordinating Die Sets. For more inspiration, be sure to head over to the Newtons Nook Designs blog. My card I created using the Newton’s Bubble Tea Stamp set.  I created an A2 Portrait Z Fold card. I cut the card base 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” score at 2-1/8” and 4-1/4” on the landscape side. I am using the NND Coffee House Stories Paper Pad for the layers. I stamped and die cut the images from the Newton’s Bubble Tea Stamp set and and colored the images with alcohol markers. I die cut the smallest die from the Basic Frames Die Set and ink blend some blue ink and added the images. To finish off the card, I added the hearts from the Newton’s Bubble Tea Stamp set and added glossy accents onto the hearts and the circles in the cup.

My next card I created using the Puppy’s Bubble Tea Stamp Set and coordinating Die. I created an A2 Landscape Z Fold card. I cut the card base 4-1/4” x 11” score at 2-3/4” and 5-1/2” on the landscape side. I also used the NND Coffee House Stories Paper Pad for the layers. I stamped and die cut the image from the Puppy’s Bubble Tea Stamp Set and and colored the imageswith alcohol markers. I die cut the circle die from the Circle Frames Die Set and ink blend some blue ink and added the image with foam squaresl. I stamped the sentiment from the Puppy’s Bubble Tea Stamp Set. To finish off the card, I added some glossy accents onto the circles in the cup and added brown enamel dots from my stash.

NEWTON'S NOOK DESIGNS - APRIL 2024 NEW RELEASE - REVEAL DAY 3

 

Hello everyone!

It's Reveal Day 3 over at Newtons Nook Designs, the NEWLY released products will be available on Friday, April 19th. The design team will be featuring Cherry Blossoms Stamp Set and coordinating Die Set. For more inspiration, be sure to head over to the Newtons Nook Designs blog. My card is an A2 card. I stamped, die cut and colored the floral image from the Cherry Blossom Stamp Set. The black layer is die cut from the Frames & Flags Die Set. The top layer I die cut from the Basic Frames Die Set, dry embossed this layer using the Quatrefoil Stencil and ink blended it. I arranged the Cherry Blossoms onto the top layer and used foam tape to pop them up. I stamped the sentiment from the Frames & Tags die set and used some twine to add it to the card. To finish off the card, I added some pink pearls from my stash.

My card is an A2 card. I started out die cutting the A2 Card Layout Die with solid card stock from my stash. I then die cut the A2 Card Layout Die again using the Spring Blooms Paper Pad. I added this to the card base. I then stamped, die cut and colored the Floral Delight Stamp Set and added it to the the card. I stamped the sentiment from the Floral Delight Stamp Set and die cut it using the smallest die from the Basic Frmaes Die Set. I finish off the card I added the bees and buttrflies from the Floral Delight Stamp Set.

I have created a bookmark using the Bookmark II Die Set. I die cut the bookmark using NND Coffee House Stories Paper Pad. I die cut a piece of vellum also with the Bookmark II Die Set to mask off the books in the background. I stamped and die cut with the coordinating die the images from the Never Enough Books Stamp Set, colored with alcohol markers and added the images to the bookmark. I stamped and embossed the sentiment from the Never Enough Books Stamp Set with black embossing powder. I finished the bookmark off by adding the cat from the NND Cat Silhouettes Die Set.

Newton's Nook Designs - Hummingbird

Hello everyone!

I am here with Newton's Nook Designs featuring the Hummingbird Stamp Set.  The background layers are cut from the NEWLY released Back to Basics die sets, Basic Frame and Frames and Tags .  

Here is my card for your inspiration:

My card is an A2 card, I stamped and die cut the birds and florals from the Hummingbird stamp set.  The set only comes with one Hummingbird and I wanted the bird on the left facing the bird from the set.  I decided to do the technique, reverse stamping. There are lots of YouTube videos on this technique if you don't know how to do it.  I colored the birds and the flowers with alcohol markers.  I die cut the black layer from the Frames and Tags die set.  I then die cut the top layer from the Basic Frame die set.  I masked off the edges on the top layer and created clouds in the background from the Cloud Stencil and ink blended some green at the bottom for grass. I added the sentiment from the Hummingbird Stamp Set and assembled the card.

I've created an A2 size card. The stamp set I am using is from Whimsy Stamps called "Fall Hedgehog" that was released in October 2022. I stamped, die cut and colored the image with copics. The background paper is from my stash. I finished off the card by stamping the sentiment from the Fall Hedgehog stamp set.

Hello everyone! 

I am here today featuring the NEW Gina K. Designs "Spring Gardens" stamp set and dies illustrated by Hannah Schroepfer Drapinski! This set is so versatile, if you love gnomes like I do. Here are my cards for your inspiration:

My card is an A2 card, I die cut the layers using GKD Master Layouts 1. The top layer I ink blended with sea glass and jellybean green. I stamped the images and colored them with copics. I added them to the card and used foam squares on the house. To finish off the card I added the sentiment from the Springs Garden stamp set.

 

My card is an A2 card, I die cut the layers using GKD Master Layouts 2. The top layer I used embossing and watermark ink to add the tulips from the Springs Green stamp set.  I then stamped and die cut the wheel barrow and colored it with copics.  I die cut the circles from the single and double circles and added foam squares to the barrow and added it to the card. I stamped the sentiment from the Springs Garden stamp set.  I finished off the card by adding some disco balls.

I've created an A2 size card. The frame I die cut from Whimsy Stamps called Wonky Window 3 Die. The stamp set I am using is from Whimsy Stamps called "Panda Peekers" that was released in February 2022. I stamped, die cut and colored the images with copics. The background I inked with blue ink and stamped the sentiment from the Panda Peekers stamp set. I assembled the card and added some black enamel dots to finish off the card.

Here is my cards for your inspiration:

My card is an A2 card (4 1/4 x 5 1/2), the paper I am using is the NEW Pastel Basics 6x6 Paper Pad. I die cut the A2 Card Layout Die from white card stock. I then die cut different colors with the hearts from the Pastel Basics paper pad. I adhered them onto the card base. I then stamped and colored the image with alcohol markers from the Newtons Birthday Delights Stamp set. I then die cut the image with the coordinating die and adhered it to the card base with foam dots.

To finish off the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Newtons Birthday Delights Stamp set on a die from the Basic Frames Die Set. I adhered it to the card.

I then die cut the elements from the Frames and Tags Die Set and adhered them to my card. I then stamped and colored the image from the NEW Newtons Bright Birthday Stamp and die cut it with the coordinating die. I stamped the sentiment from the Newtons Bright Birthday on a die from the Basic Frames Die Set. I adhered everything to the card base.

I am here with Newtons Nook Designs, featuring the NEW Back to Basics March 2024 release! Today I am featuring the NEWLY released Frames and Tags Die Set and the Bright Basics 6x6 Paper Pad. The stamped image is Sky High Celebrations Stamp and Die sets.  There are 3 NEW basic frame sets that will definately be an asset to your collection of dies.  These dies can be interchanged with each other.

Here is my cards for your inspiration:

My card is an A2 card (4 1/4 x 5 1/2), the paper I am using is the NEW Bright Basics 6x6 Paper Pad.  I die cut the elements from the Frames and Tags Die Set and adhered them to my card.  I stamped the sentiment onto one of the frames from the Frames and Tags Die Set.  I then stamped and colored the image from the Sky High Celebrations Stamp and die cut it with the coordinating die.  I adhered it to the  card with foam squares.

Newton's Nook Designs - Welcome Spring!

Hello everyone!

I am here with Newton's Nook Designs featuring Spring Roundabout Stamp Set that goes perfectly with NND Circle Frames Die. There are six sentiments in this set that you can create cards for Spring or Easter.  The sentiments also can be die cut from the Banner Duo Die Set.

Here is my card for your inspiration:

My card is an A2 card, that I created a shaker.  The background paper is from Newton's Nook Designs Spring Blooms Paper Pad, that I die cut the background with the Frames and Flags Die Set.  I stamped the Spring Roundabout Stamp onto white card stock and colored the images with alcohol markers.  I then die cut it with second scalloped circle from the Circle Frames Die Set. I die cut the scallop circle from again from the Circle Frames Die Set and used the second largest circle to cut the center.  I added some accetate to the back of the scalloped circle, added some foam tape to the back and added some embellishmnets from my stash and adhered the image to the back.  I adhered it to the base of my card.  I then stamped and embossed the sentiment and added it to the card.

Here is my photo for your inspiration:

I've created an A2 size card. The stamp set I am using from Pretty Pink Posh called "Daffodils" that was released in March 2021. I stamped, die cut and colored the image with copics. The background paper is some white shimmery paper from my stash that I die cut using Spellbinders Fluted Classic Rectangles Etched Dies. I then cut a black oval and white oval (from the shimmery paper) using Spellbinders Spellbinders Fluted Classic Oval Etched Dies. I then added some foam squares to the floral and leaves and added it to the card. The sentiment is from Pinkfresh called Basic Banners Everyday Stamp which I stamped and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I then used the coordinating dies to the sentiments and die cut the sentients out.

MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE BLOG (MLCCB) - Joy to the World

Hello everyone!

I'm here with a new challenge with the Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog. I hope you will come play along with the Christmas Challenge. It will run for six weeks, ending at 4:00 PM Mountain Time on the 15th of next month, so get out your crafty Christmas stash and come play with us!

Here is my card for your inspiration:

My card is an A2 size card.  The black layer I cut using some glitter black card stock in my stash.  The top red layer, I embossed using Spellbinders Vintage Ornaments 3D embossing folder.  The card stock is some matte red card stock from my stash.  The ornament is a layering ornament from Birch Press Marisol Ornament Layer Set that I die cut using mirrored red card stock and gold glitter card stock.  The sentiment is from Pinkfresh called Basic Banner: Christmas Stamp which comes with a coordinating die that cuts several sentiments.

Here is my card for your inspiration.  For my tic tac toe, I am using Gnome, Embossing Rainbow.  

I've created an A2 size card. The stamp set I am using from Trinity Stamps called "Pot of Gold" that was released in February 2023. I stamped, die cut and colored the image with copics. The background rainbow die is from Erin Reed Slimline Rainbow Rays Die. The sentiment is from the Pot of Gold stamp set, I stamped, and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I finished off the card by adding some gold sequins around the pot.

I am here today featuring the NEW Gina K. Designs "Wishing You Well" stamp set and dies illustrated by Lisa Hetrick!  Be sure to check out ALL the new products, released this month. Here are my cards for your inspiration:

My card is an A2 card, I die cut the layers using GKD Master Layouts 1.  I stamped the white piece with the GKD Close Knit Background Stamp using Kraft ink.  I adhered this piece to the black layer and added it to the card.  I stamped the boots from the "Wishing You Well" stamp set onto GKD Passionate Pink cardstock using black onyx ink.  I stamped the flowers and leaves from the "Wishing You Well" stamp set, used alcohol markers to color the flowers and added some midnight sequins in the centers of the flowers.  I arranged the boots, flowers and leaves onto the card and adhered to the card.  I stamped and embossed the sentiment using white detail embossing powder and used the coordinating die to die cut the sentiment.  I adhered it to the card and finished it off by adding the black pearls from the black, gold and silver pearl mix.  

My last card is an A2 card. I foiled the Poly-glaze Berries and Vines with Fancy Foils - Jelly Bean Green using the Fuse Foiling System.  I die cut the poly-glaze layer and the black layer using GKD Master Layouts 2.  I stamped and die cut the flowers and leaves, coloring the flowers with alcohol markers.  I added some midnight sequins in Florals centers of the flowers.  I stamped and embossed the sentiment from the Wishing You Well stamp set using white detail embossing powder and used the coordinating die to die cut the sentiment. The word friend is from the "Modern Floral" stamp set, that I also embossed and used the coordinating die to die cut the word.

NEWTON'S NOOK DESIGNS - Porch Friends

Happy Valentine's Day!

I am here with Newton's Nook Designs featuring Porch Swing Friends Stamp Set with the coordinating dies. This set is perfect to send to your special friend that loves dogs and cats.  I love how the dog and cat are relaxing together on the porch.  

Here is my card for your inspiration:

My card is an A2 card, the background paper is from Newton's Nook Designs Love & Meows Paper Pad. I create my card by stamping the image of the dog and cat snugged on the swing from the Porch Swing Friends Stamp Set. I colored the image with alcohol markers. I die cut the image with the Porch Swing Friends die set. I then die cut a piece of white cardstock using the Framework Die Set, ink blended the background with some light blue ink from my stash.  I stamped the sentiment from the Porch Swing Friends Stamp Set and added the image from the Porch Swing Friends Stamp Set.  To finish off the card, I added some enamel hearts from my stash.

Retro Rubber Challenge Blog - Sketch Challenge

Hello everyone!

Here is my card for your inspiration:

I've created an A2 size card. The stamp set I am using from Mama Elephants called Fuzzy Hugs that was released in September 2019. I stamped, die cut and colored the image with copics. The word die is also from Mama Elephants calleed Warm Fuzzy Hugs which was released in September 2019.  The background paper is from Sunny Studios called Flirty Flowers Paper.  To finish off the card, I added some red hearts from my stash.
