Gift Card Holder

Wednesday, December 24, 2014

Happy Holiday's everyone,

I hope you all are ready for the holidays.  I am, my mother and brother came in today from North Carolina  and I have some more family coming in tomorrow.  I have all the trees decorated, the lights outside and the house smelling so good.  It is certainly the best time of the year.  To celebrate the birth of Jesus!!!!

I am here with a2z Scrapbooking again with the Watercolor challenge.  I decided to do, probably, my last holiday card for this year.  I really needed a couple of gift card holders and found a design in the Silhouette store.  It was just perfect because I have three Starbuck cards I am giving as gifts.  I used two of my favorite stamp sets the Hero Arts Brush Strokes and Hero Arts Celebrate Everything.  The Celebrate Everything set is an older set, but a
goodie. A2Z brought it back again this year. This set is very versitle, it has a lot of different sentiments. Head over to the store and check it out. If you would like these sets, you can get 15% off, just use Donna15 when you check out.

Here is my card for the challenge:
These are the cards I made.  I sat them in the tree to show you.  The bottom two have a sentiment card with this cute heart to make this card.

This is a closer look of the card inside the gift card holder on the right.  The first one is with the sentiment sticking out.

Closer look of the sentiment.

ok, it's your turn, hop on over to a2zScrapbooking blog and link your card in the challenge.   You have a few more days to enter.  The link is on the right side bar of the page. I can't wait to see what you design.

If you are on social media, #a2zScrapbooking or @a2zScrapbooking is on Instagram or Twitter so come follow us!

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you take some time and play along with this challenge at a2z Scrapbooking blog.

Hello Sunshine - a2z Scrapbooking December Challenge

Tuesday, December 9, 2014

Hello Bloggers,

I hope you all did not get to wet this weekend from all the rain.  How many of you are ready for Christmas?  I'm not, I have gotten a few gifts, but still need to buy a few more.  I also have to finish decorating the house.  We all have less than three weeks before Christmas.

This months challenge with a2zScrapbooking is Watercolor!  Doesn't that sound like fun.  I was wishing for sunshine this weekend, so I made a card with a flower.  I'm not rushing life ahead of us, but whew I wish the sun would just shine for a few hours.  It seems like forever, since the sun has been out.  The flower is from the Hello Sunshine Daisy set.  This set is very nice because it has four sentiments in the set and four different flowers with so many different ways to use them. This set is a must have!  For this card, I first used a few inks and rubbed them on my craft sheet, then I sprayed the mat with water and rubbed my watercolor paper on the mat.  Love how my background came out.  For the flower I dabbed the ink on the stamp, stamped off and added a little water and stamped on the paper I watercolored.  If you would like this set, you can get 15% off, just use Donna15 when you check out.

ok, it's your turn, hop on over to a2zScrapbooking blog and link your card in the challenge. The link is on the right side bar of the page.  I can't wait to see what you design.

Don’t forget if you’d like to buy any products from the store, use this discount code, Donna15 to get 15% off. There are some great Hero Arts products! So please take some time and stop by there. If you are on social media, #a2zScrapbooking or @a2zScrapbooking is on Instagram or Twitter so come follow us!

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you take some time and play along with this challenge at a2z Scrapbooking blog.

Thanks for Being My Friend

Saturday, November 29, 2014

Hello Bloggers,

It has been a busy couple of days.  I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  I did, I was with family and friends and lots of good eating.  And today is "black Friday", did you all go out and get some great deals?  I didn't go out, but I did orde a few items on-line.  I didn't want to have to fight the crowds and traffic.

I am here today to share a card made with Lawn Fawn products.  The stamp set is Lawn Fawn Critters at the Dog Park Die and Stamp Set.  Love this stamp set, it is just adorable.  I made a card earlier with this set, here it is if you want to check it out.  Do you want to own this set?  It is in the a2z Scrapbooking store and you can get it for 15% off your purchase by using DONNA15.  Don't wait to long, because there is only one left!  Click here to get it now.

I created this card by creating the hills of grass using the stitched hillside borders die.  I then stamp the dogs and cut them out using the die set and colored them using the prismacolor pencils. I then stamped the fire hydrant on red paper and cut it out.  Walah, the card has been created.  Love these cute critters, you will see this stamp set again.

Just as a reminder there are a few days left to play along with a2z Scrapbooking blog "anything goes". Come over and play along, you have a chance to win gift card to spend in the a2z Scrapbooking Store. Craft Hoarders Anonymous Blog Challenge 20 - Box it Up!

Monday, November 17, 2014

Hello Bloggers,

I am back again with Craft Hoarders Anonymous blog for another wonderful challenge and our sponsor is My Artistic Adventures.

Our challenge is to create some sort of altered box. You can create a box from scratch, or you can alter a pre-made box. Your box can be made of paper, wood, chipboard, plastic, or metal. As long as you dig into your hoard to decorate a box, you have met the challenge requirements! The box does not have to be used as a box...it can be used as home decor or for any purpose you can imagine. Let's box it up!

I altered a Graphic 45 Book Box.  Oh what fun it was to alter,  so many compartments to alter! I used Kaisercraft Be-You-Tiful Collection.  Love the vintage colors and patterns.
