Beautiful Butterfly Easel

Wednesday, June 20, 2012

Happy Wednesday bloggers,

I wanted to share this very beautiful butterfly easel card with you.  I love how it turned out.  The only thing, I wish it were a little larger. This was made with the Stampin Up Beautiful Butterfly die.  I was inspired by addINKtive designs, she seems to be the queen of making these butterfly easel cards.  I am going to try making this card with the Lifestyle nested butterflies.  They have several sizes and the largest one is big.  Check back to see it, I hope to get it done some time this week.  As always, thanks for stopping by, if you like my card, please leave a comment or follow me.  Stay cool and safe for the next couple of days, it is suppose to be 100 or more degrees the rest of the week.

Stampin Up Explosion

Wednesday, June 13, 2012

Hello Bloggers, I hope everyone's week is going well.  I wanted to share with you some cards I made this weekend at a Stampin' Up camp.  We made five beautiful cards with some of the new stamp sets.

The first one is an easel card, made with the new stamp set "Bootiful Occasions". There are four boot designs in this set.    See the new clear faceted button, they are really nice.  Do you see how the envelope has the beautiful clouds....just love it.  You take a piece of paper and cut large scallops and just sponge the clouds on!!!!

This next card was made with the new "You're Amazing" Stamp Set. To get the different colors we had to use 3 different markers. See the tickets, it was made with a wheel stamp!

This next card is a Z-Fold card made using the new "Make a Cake" stamp set.   The "Happy Birthday" image is from the "You're Amazing" stamp set.  Aren't these colors just wonderful!

This card was made using the "Decorate a Daisy" Stamp Set and the New "Daydream" Jumbo Stampin' Wheel.  I love how this card turned out.  You may not be able to tell, but the flowers are embossed.  The leaves were made from the "Blossom Petals Builder" and I made the veins with a black maker.  The Designer Series Paper is from the new "International Bazaar" DSP Pack.  The colors and patterns in this pack are beautiful!

And lastly, this card was made using the "Affection Collection" stamp set.  This card is like a Victorian design.   The "LOVE" stamp is beautiful and can be used in many ways.

Did you notice how I stamp on each envelope to match the card!  Just love it!  Thanks for stopping by and checking out my cards.  I love all the new stamp sets and can't wait to create more.  If you like my cards, please leave a comment, I love reading them.  Also, follow me, so you can see more creations.

Simple Black and White Card

Tuesday, June 5, 2012

I saw this vase on a website and can't remember where I saw it. You take the small oval SU punch and punch the oval out. Then you take the scissors and cut a small part of the top and bottom off and there you have a vase. I ran it through the cuttlebug and then added a little bling to the base to give it character. Thanks again for taking the time to read my blogs!

Father's Day

Sunday, June 3, 2012

Hello Bloggers, I hope you had a wonderful weekend.  After Friday's heavy rain and some people in the area had tornadoes, this weekend turned out to be a beautiful one.  This weekend I had stamp club and we made a Father's Day card and I made another one that I want to share with you.  There are a lot of tutorials on YouTube if you are wondering how to make these cards.  If you can't find them, just leave a comment or send me an email and I will look for one to send to you.  I really like the second shirt I made, you can make this shirt in less than five minutes.  I am also loving the new Stampin Up DSP, I used the Comfort Cafe  DSP for both of the cards.  I hope you all are getting ready for Father's Day, it is about two weeks away.  Have a wonderful week and if you like my card, please leave a comment.
