Retro Rubber Challenge Blog #145 - Tic Tac Toe

Tuesday, October 6, 2020

Hello everyone!

I am here with Retro Rubber Challenge blog and we have a new challenge, which is a fun tic tac toe created by design team member Jan Clothier! I hope you have been enjoying her tic tac toe games, because I have!

The stamp set I used is from Studios Katia called Citrus Trimmings, I had this stamp set in my stash for a while so happy to pull it out and get it inky. The stamp set was released in April 2018. I love slimline cards and thought this set was perfect to create one.

If you have not joined our challenges before, the rules are very simple, just use a stamp older than a year and you must include the age (or approximate age) of the stamp in your blog post. Here is the sketch for you to use. I cannot wait to see you take on it.

Here is my card for your inspiration.

For my tic tac toe, I did yellow, die cut or punch and embossing.  My card is a slimline card, I stamped and colored the Citrus Trimmings stamp set with copics, I inked the top layer with ink and then added the image.  I stamped and embossed the sentiment from the Citrus Trimmings, and die cut it with a die cut.

Are you ready to play along? Be sure to stop over on the Retro Rubber Challenge blog to get some more inspiration! Thank you for stopping by, you have until October 16th to join the fun!

  1. Donna, those lemons look good enough to squeeze for lemonade, so bright and beautiful.
The slim line card is perfect for this awesome lemony image.
    Great card, teammie.
