Retro Rubber Challenge Blog #120 - Come Up for Air

Tuesday, September 24, 2019

Hello everyone!

I am here with Retro Rubber Challenge blog and we have a new challenge, which is anything goes.
If you have not joined our challenges before, the rules are very simple, just use a stamp older than a year and you must include the age (or approximate age) of the stamp in your blog post. I cannot wait to see you take on it.

The stamp set I am using is created by Pickett Fence Studios called "A Dose of Vitamin Sea" it was released in February 2018.

My card is an A2 card, my design paper is from Authentique and the collection is called Sea-Maiden  The paper had a whole 12 x 12 sheet of cards that were perfect to make into cards.  I also thought this paper was perfect for the whale image I used.  I was able to get several cards made, so you may see this collection again!  I stamped and fuzzy cut the whale from the Pickett Fence Studios stamp set "A Dose of Vitamin Sea", colored it with copics and used foam tape to pop it up on my card.  I finished the card off by adding some clear dew drops.

Are you ready to play along? Be sure to stop over on the Retro Rubber Challenge blog to get some more inspiration! Thank you for stopping by, you have until October 4th to join the fun!

  3. Absolutely LOVE your whale card, Donna!!!! You did a great job coloring the whale itself, and the sentiment is fantastic! Is the sentiment a stamp, or was it part of the pattern paper? I didn't see it in the sentiment in the Sea-Maiden paper samples. Thanks for being so inspiring!
