Craft Hoarders Anonymous blog - Challenge 12 - Who's the Boss?

Monday, July 21, 2014

Hello bloggers,

Welcome back to another challenge with Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge Blog! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  Isn't this weather just perfect?  I guess we should enjoy it while we can, because I am sure the humidity is coming back.

Challenge #12 is show some embossing on your project. You can use dry embossing or heat embossing. You can use an embossing folder or a stencil. You can emboss with embossing paste or embossing powder. You can even create something with ultra-thick embossing enamel. You probably have some sort of embossing apparatus in your hoard! Pull these embossing tools out and put them to use!

This challenge is sponsored by Crafter's Companion.  Crafter’s Companion United States brings you products to make crafting a little easier, including the Spectrum Noir coloring system, the Ultimate Pro, and more!  They produce a full range of tools to create cards and other paper craft projects. Their mission is to make their innovative, award-winning tools accessible to crafters around the world at fantastic prices.

Spectrum Noir is the revolutionary coloring system brought to you by Crafter's Companion. Here is my take on the challenge.  I really enjoyed coloring this cute soceer player.  I used the spectrum Noir pens to color him.  I chose a circle easle card using the Lil Inker designs stitched circle dies and spellbinder circle grand dies.  The black layers are Crafter's Companion embossing folder.  I masked the little boy and sponged the blue sky.

This is the card collapsed.

I put the card in a 5x5 envelope.  The envelope is lined with the soccer paper from G45.

Isn't this little socceer player so cute!

You can read all the details and link your creation on the Craft Hoarders Anonymous blog. I cannot wait to see what you create with all your hoard! The challenge goes for two weeks. One talented participant will receive this prize pack, donated by Crafter's Companion.
