 Here is my card:

Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps have come out with a wonderful line of Harry Potter inspired stamps along with a lot other wonderful stamps. My card is using a few of the Harry Potter inspired stamps, which are the Glasses & Lightening Bolt stamp set, Wizarding Hat and the sentiment is called Favorite Muggle.  The links to these sets and other supplies are listed below.
.

Closer look at my card:

Here is how I put my card together:

1.  I started with an A2 size card,
2.  I positioned the stamps in my Misti that I wanted to use,

3.  I turned my paper around and stamped the images again.  If I have room on my paper I like to stamp the images a couple of times and then I will have them for another card later.

4.  I then took another piece of card stock and positioned my image on the paper, I stamped it,

5.  I then positioned two of the stamps from the Glasses & Lightening Bolt stamp set onto the Misti and stamped them,

6.  I then used a stencil to add some interest onto the card using the Memento ink and a clarity brush,

7.  I finished off my card by adding the sentiment called Favorite Muggle.  I then die cut the layer with a stitched die, back this with a piece of black card stock and then adhered it to my card base.

There you go....using the Misti is so perfect to get your stamps positioned where you want them and get a crisp and clean stamped image! I know I have said it over and over again.....I don't know how I stamped before without it. This is definitely the number one tool I go to for all my stamping needs!  What is yours?

Below are the products I used to create my card. Click on the link to go directly to the product. Where available I have used compensated affiliate links which means if you make a purchase I will receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. Thank you so much for your support!

MISTI AND JC

Hello everyone!

Today My Sweet Petunia and Joy Clair's design teams are sharing projects featuring the MISTI as well as many of the fantastic products from Joy Clair! Please be sure to stop over to Joy Clair's Blog to see all the wonderful projects the team has created using the MISTI.

I have two projects to share today, using the Joy Clair stamp set called "Get Well" and "New Baby".  These two sets are from the Everyday line of stamps.  These are very versatile and could be used together if you wanted.

For my first card, I am using the original MISTI which is 8x10.  For more information on this MISTI, you can go to the Misti store.  I stamped all my elements with Black Memento, cut them out using my Brother Scan & Cut and colored them with copics.  I stenciled the background piece of card stock, then die cut the next layer, created the cloud background and added my elements.  I added some NUVO black drops on the cat's eye.

Here is a closer look at the card.

Here I am using the large bar magnet to hold my card stock down while I stamp the sentiment.

After I stamped the sentiment, I layed my elements where I wanted them to be and added the flying birds.

My second card, I am using the Everyday stamp set by Joy Clair called "New Baby".  This is an adorable stamp set, there are so many possibilities.  I stamped the shirt on some design card stock using the MISTI and I fuzzy cut it out with scissors.  I then embossed the background with an embossing folder, added a couple of layers and added my elements to the card.

Closer look of the card.

I am using the Mini MISTI for this project.  If I only have to stamp small sentiments, I use the Mini MISTI.  I stamped the sentiment I used on my card and the giraffe.

I used a die to cut the sentiment and fuzzy cut the giraffe, colored it with copics and added it to the onesies.

Here is my card:

1.  I started out using Gina K. Design Ocean Mist premium dye ink for my masked off background,
2.  I then stamped largest flower from the Boho Flower Mini Kit with the Gina K. Onyx Black ink,

3.  I then masked the large flower and stamped the smaller flower from the kit,

4.  I left the larger flower masked and stamped the flower on the left side.

5.  I then positioned the "you" stamp from the Boho Flower Mini Kit and stamped it in the Gina K Onyx Black Ink,

6.  Hopefully you can see the grid that I printed on acetate.  I bought these acetate sheets from a local store, this acetate is specifically for inkjet printers.  The grid can be found on Splitcoaststampers website under My Sweet Petunia.  There are a number of tutorials and grids that you can download.  This grid helps you to line up sentiments or anything that you need lined up that you cannot do from the Misti.  Here I am lining up the sentiment under the already stamped "You".

7.  I added the butterfly and finished the card off by adding some enamel dots in the middle of the flowers and on my card.

There you go....using the Misti is so perfect to get your stamps positioned where you want them and get a crisp and clean stamped image!  I don't know how I stamped before without it.  This is definitely the number one tool I go to for all my stamping needs!

Joy Clair - God's Army

Friday, April 14, 2017

Hello everyone,

I am here with Joy Clair featuring the newly release Color by Faith bible journaling set called "God's Army".  This is a wonderful set if you know someone who is serving in the military or any kind of services that they wear a uniform.  If you have not visited the Joy Clair blog, please stop by to see all the wonderful designs, you will definitely be inspired!

Also, there is plenty of time to join in on the monthly challenge over on Joy Clair.  The theme is always anything goes and our Design Team uses a photo inspiration to create their project that you can use too if it inspires you.   If you would like to join the fun, the details are here.  As always, you will have a chance to win a $25 Gift Certificate to the Joy Clair Store

Here is my card.  This month theme for the design team is masking.  I will tell you how I created my card below.
How I put my card together:

1.  A2 card 4 1/4 x 5 1/2,
2.  The black cardstock measures 4 x 5 1/4,
3.  The top piece of cardstock measures 3 7/8 x 5,
4.  I stamped the camouflage pieces on the background of my cardstock,

I stamped the boots and the tags using my Misti, I stamped the boots on some wide masking low tack tape I have and masked the boots I stamped on my cardstock, I then stamped the tags.  If you don't have low tack masking tape, you can also use post it notes, they work well too.

5.  I stamped the tags on the side of the boots to make it look like some of the tag is behind the boot.

6.  I removed the masked piece of paper and here is the results!

7.  Finished my card off by adding the sentiment.

Here is my card.  I am using the newly released stamp set called Spring Time Flowers.  Be sure to check out the blog for all the newly released stamp sets.

 Closer look

Here is how I put my card together.

1.  I used distressed inks to create my background.

2.  I used my mini Misti to figure out where I wanted to position my images.  I used stamped the images with Versamark, added some white embossing powder and heat embossed.

3.  I put my stamped and embossed piece back into my Misti and positioned the stamp again, and repeated my process above.

4.  I cut a small circle out and added some distress inked.  I positioned it into my Misti.

5.  I used my Misti to position my sentiment to stamp it on the circle.

There you go....using the Misti is so perfect to get your stamps positioned where you want them and get crisp and clean stamped images!  I don't know how I stamped before without it.  If you are wondering why I have the washi tape on the magnets, it really helps when the magnets stick together, it's easier to get them apart.

I am back again with Joy Clair featuring the new stamp set "Lion and Lamb".  Calling on all you bible journaling peeps....this is a great stamp set to have.  Just to let you know the set is on sale for $12.99 in the store.  There are more projects the design team has created with the stamp set over at the Joy Clair's blog.  Please stop by and check them out.  Here is the stamp set, so many things you can do with this set.

I used my Misti to line each half of the lion so it would make the whole head.  I colored him with copics and cut him out with an oval die.  I added some foam tape and popped the oval up on the card. I added the sentiment and some bling to finish off my card.
