Tuesday, November 19, 2024

Hello everyone!

I am here with Retro Rubber Challenge blog and we have a new challenge, which is a sketch. Be sure to stop over on the Retro Rubber Challenge blog to get more inspiration, the design team has some wonderful creations!

The rules to play along with Retro Rubber Challenge is very simple, make sure the stamp you use on your project is at least one year or older. For more details on the rules, you can find them over on Retro Rubber Challenge blog.

Here is my take on the sketch for your inspiration:

D. Idlet, Spellbinder Raining Pumpkin Press Plate, Pinkfresh Basic Banners Everyday, pumpkins, thank you card, sketch

My card is an A2 card. I cut the bottom layer from some cardstock from my stash. I cut it at 4 x 5 1/4, and cut it in half. I adhered it to the card base. The pumpkin background is a created by Spellbinders called Raining Pumpkin Press Plate which was exclusively released to independent retailers. I used my Betterpress to create the background and there is a coordinating stencil, I used to ink blend the pumpkins.  I die cut it using Spellbinders Essential Arches Etched Dies, I created a frame to go around the pumpkin background. I then stamped, embossed and die cut the sentiment from Pinkfresh called Basic Banners Everyday Stamp Set which was released in June 2023.

D. Idlet, Retro Rubber Challenge Blog, Theme, Fall, pumpkins Penny Black

My card is an A2 card.  I die cut this beautiful paper with a rectangle die.  I am using the same  paper I used last month from 49th & Market called ARToptions Spice which was release in August 2023.  I love taking beautiful paper and creating cards with it.  It's fast, but beautiful at the end.  I adhered it to a brown panel and added it to the card base.  I stamped the sentiment with black ink from a stamp set called Always Thankful from Penny Black which was released September 2014.

Hello everyone!

I am here with Newton's Nook Designs featuring the our Cycling Friends Stamp Set. Fall has come in where I live and I thought this is the perfect set to create a Fall card.

Here is how I created the card:

1. Stamped the images from the Cycling Friends Stamp Set., cut the images out using the coordinating Cycling Friends Die Set, colored with copics.

2. Add the pumpkins to the bicycle basket, using the Fall Friends Die Set.

3. Created a scene by inking up a sky and adding in clouds and sun using our Sky Scene Builder Die Set. The lower cloud holds a sentiment inked from our Newton's Crate Stamp Set.

4. Along the bottom added a hill and some grass, cut out using our Land Borders Die Set.

5. The leaves are from the Harvest Haul Stamp Set. The whole scene is framed with a scallop edged frame tfrom the Frames & Flags Die Set.

Chatterbox Suzy Stamps - Three Pumpkins

Sunday, August 12, 2018

Hello everyone!

I am here with Crackerbox Suzy Stamps and I have a Halloween card to share with you today, using two of the newly release stamps.  The first one is Smiling Pumpkin and Pumpkin Plump .  These pumpkins are so adorable and easy to color!

Here is how I created my card:

My card is an A2 card, I stamped the Smiling Pumpkin first, then masked it off and stamped the Pumpkin Plump on each side of the Smiling Pumpkin with Memento black tuxedo ink.  I then masked the two end pumpkins off and took used some distress ink using a Tim Holtz mini stencil set #22 to create my background.  I then colored the pumpkins using Copic markers.  I die cut the layer with a stitched die and adhered it to my card.

I stamped the Halloween sentiment from Bats in a Belfry, I die cut it out with a stitched pennant and used foam tape to pop it up on my card.  I finished the card off by adding some Nuvo Aqua Shimmer - Glitter Gloss to give the pumpkins some shimmer.

Another look at my card.

Here is a closer look of my card with the Nuvo Aqua Shimmer - Glitter Gloss
