Newton's Nook Designs - Thank you!

Tuesday, February 11, 2025

Hello everyone,

I am here with Newton's Nook Designs featuring the Chrysanthemum Stamp Set and the coordinating die set.

Here is my card for your inspiration:

My card is an A2 card, the polka dot paper is cut from the Autumn Basics Paper Pad. I then die cut the oval scalloped from the Oval Frames Die Set. I stamped and colored the Chrysanthemum flower and added it to the oval die cut. I then used the same paper pad, die cut the flag from the Frames & Flags Die Set and stamped and embossed the sentiment.

This stamp set is perfect to create a fall card using the fall sentiment from the Chrysanthemum Stamp Set.

Thank you so much for stopping by, for more inspiration using Newton's Nook Designs stamps, head over to Newton's Nook Designs.

RETRO RUBBER CHALLENGE BLOG - Sketch

Tuesday, November 19, 2024

Hello everyone!

I am here with Retro Rubber Challenge blog and we have a new challenge, which is a sketch. Be sure to stop over on the Retro Rubber Challenge blog to get more inspiration, the design team has some wonderful creations!

The rules to play along with Retro Rubber Challenge is very simple, make sure the stamp you use on your project is at least one year or older. For more details on the rules, you can find them over on Retro Rubber Challenge blog.

Here is my take on the sketch for your inspiration:

D. Idlet, Spellbinder Raining Pumpkin Press Plate, Pinkfresh Basic Banners Everyday, pumpkins, thank you card, sketch

My card is an A2 card. I cut the bottom layer from some cardstock from my stash. I cut it at 4 x 5 1/4, and cut it in half. I adhered it to the card base. The pumpkin background is a created by Spellbinders called Raining Pumpkin Press Plate which was exclusively released to independent retailers. I used my Betterpress to create the background and there is a coordinating stencil, I used to ink blend the pumpkins.  I die cut it using Spellbinders Essential Arches Etched Dies, I created a frame to go around the pumpkin background. I then stamped, embossed and die cut the sentiment from Pinkfresh called Basic Banners Everyday Stamp Set which was released in June 2023.

Are you ready to play along? Be sure to stop over on the Retro Rubber Challenge blog to get some more inspiration! Thank you for stopping by, you have until November 29th to join the fun!

Thank you for stopping by, please come back again soon.

I am featuring the Chrysanthemum Stamp Set with the Coordinating Die. I stamped the image, colored with copics and die cut it using the coordinating die. For the background, I used the NND Autumn 6x6 Paper Pad. I die cut the oval frames from the NND Oval Frames Die Set and the rectangle scalloped frame was die cut using the Frames & Flags Die Set. I love how this card turned out. It looks so elegant with the fall colors.

Retro Rubber Challenge #127 - Thank You

Tuesday, January 28, 2020

Hello everyone!

I am here with Retro Rubber Challenge blog and we have a new challenge, which is one of my favorite's, Tic Tac Toe challenge.  I used the 4x4, die cut and thanks for my tic tac toe that I am sharing with you today.

If you have not joined our challenges before, the rules are very simple, just use a stamp older than a year and you must include the age (or approximate age) of the stamp in your blog post. I cannot wait to see you take on it.

My card, I did not use a stamp on my card, the die cut is a Simon Says Stamp die called Thank You Script Shadow Wafer Die that was released in December 2018.

Here is my card for your inspiration.

I love making backgrounds so when I need a card I have them already to go.  I made this background by using alcohol inks with Yupo paper.  I cut the piece to 4 x 4 and put it on a card base measuring 4x4.  I then die cut the Thank You Shadow with black cardstock and then cut the script thank you with the alcohol ink background.  I used foam tape to pop this up on my card.

Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you will play along with the Retro Rubber Challenge Blog.

Listed below are the products I used. Click on the link to go directly to the product. Where available I have used compensated affiliate links which means if you make a purchase I will receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. Thank you so much for your support!
