Kat Scrappiness - Say Cheese

Friday, August 20, 2021

Hello everyone!

I am here with Kat Scrappiness, Inc., sharing a mini slimline card using the NEW coordinating die set to the fun Quokka'n Up Stamp set. The cut photo frame that I have the Quokka's in come with the coordinating die set. I am also using the Rainbow Confetti Slimline paper pad to create my card.

Here is my card for your inspiration.

Here are the steps to create this card:
  • Cut the White Slimline Card Base: 6″ x 3 1/2″ (6″ x 7″, scored at 3 1/2″).
  • Top layer cut using the Mini Slimline Embossed Edge Dies.
  • Cut Black Mat: 3 1/4″ x 5 11/16″
  • Cut piece of pattern paper from the Rainbow Confetti Paper Pad.
  • Stamp the Quokka’s from the Quokka'n Up stamp set, colored with copics.
  • Die cut Quokka's from the Quokka'n Up coordinating die set.
  • Assembled the card and finished off with adding the newly released Plum Pearl Mix to the card.  To see all the pearl embellishments, you can find them here. (pic of the pearls I used is below)

Kat Scrappiness - NEW Shaker Kits

Saturday, June 12, 2021

Hello everyone!

I am here with Kat Scrappiness, Inc. showcasing the newly released Camera Shaker Kit.  Please hop over to Kat Scrappiness blog and see all the wonderful kits and see what the design team has created. If you have not seen the other shaker kits in the store, you can find them here.  You can find all the NEW Kits here.

Here is my Shaker Kit for your inspiration:

Here is how I created my shaker kit:
  • Created the Camera Shaker Kit by inking it with Salvage Patina Distress Oxide ink.
  • Added some versafine ink all over the camera and added clear embossing powder and heat embossed.
  • Assembled the A2 card, adding Lumber Yard slimline paper onto the base of the card.
  • Assembled the Camera kit adding KS Bright Rainbow Heart Sprinkles.
  • Stamped the KS Quokka's from the Quokka'n Up stamp set.  Colored them with copics and added them to my card.

Another view of the card.

Kat Scrappiness, Inc. - I Miss You!

Thursday, May 20, 2021

Hello everyone!

I am here with Kat Scrappiness, Inc. and I have two cards to share using the PinkFresh Studios stencil Choose Hop.  I am using a few of Kat Scrappiness products such as the Mini Slimline Fancy Scalloped Dies and , the word friend is from the Scripty "Hello My Crafty Friend" Die and the sentiment is from the Quokka'n Up Stamp Set.  My second card I am using the Mini Slimline Cross Stitched Dies and the sentiment is from the Valentine Quokka Stamp Set.

Here are my cards I created using the Kat Scrappiness, Inc. products.

1.  My first card, I used two colors of pink and two colors of green on the PinkFresh Studios stencil Choose Hop.  I used my Misti to line the dies up since I was making a mini slimline card.  This stencil has five pieces, it is very easy to do this.
2.  I die cut the Mini Slimline Fancy Scalloped die and adhered it to the top folding card base.

3.  I die cut the friend from the Hello My Crafty Friend Die, this die is very versatile because the words are separated so you don't have to use all the words.  I placed the friend word onto my card and adhered it with liquid glue.

4.  I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from the Quokka'n Up Stamp Set.

5.  I finished off my card by adding some Transparent pink Heart droplets.

My second card I did the same steps as I did above, this card I used the Mini Slimline Cross Stitched Dies and the sentiment is from the Valentine Quokka Stamp Set.
