Retro Rubber Challenge Blog - Sketch

Hello everyone!

Here is my take on the sketch for your inspiration:

My card is an A2 card using the Newton’s Nook Designs Puppy Heart stamp set, which was released January 2023.  I colored the pup with alcohol markers to match the warm pinks and reds in the background. The patterned paper is from the Love & Woofs Paper Pad.  My card is perfect for Valentine’s Day or anytime you want to send a little puppy love to someone special. 🐶❤️

Newton's Nook Designs - October 2023 New Release Inspiration Day 2!

Hello everyone!

I am here with Newtons Nook Designs, featuring products from the new release! Today I am featuring the Cat Christmas Tree and Dog Christmas Tree stamp sets and coordinating dies, ALL products are available NOW. Here are my cards for your inspiration:

This card is an A2 card. The image is from the Cat Christmas Tree Stamp Set, I colored the images with alcohol markers and die cut the images using the coordinating Dies. I die cut the top layer using the Framework Die Set. I masked off the edges and ink blended the background. I then used the Petite Paw Prints stencil using glitz glitter gel. After everything was dried, I assembled the card. I then stamped and heat embossed the sentiment and die cut it using the Frames & Flag die set.

This card is an A2 card. The image is from the Dog Christmas Tree Stamp Set, I colored the images with alcohol markers and die cut the images using the coordinating Dies. I took a piece of white card stock and ink blended the background.  I die cut the bottom with the Land Border Die.  I assembled the card, stamped and heat embossed the sentiment and die cut it using the Speech Bubble Die Set.

NEWTON'S NOOK DESIGNS - January 2023 RELEASE - REVEAL DAY 3

Hello everyone!

It's Reveal Day 3 of the NEWLY released products that will be available on Friday, January 20th. The design team is featuring  “Never Enough Dogs” Stamp Set and coordinating Dies. For more inspiration please visit Newton's Nook Design Blog to see what the design team has created.

Here is my card I created.

Here is how I created the card:

• Created a Tri-Fold Accordion card that when folded it still measures an A2 card (4 1/4 x 5 1/2).
• Cut the background papers with the Frames Squared Die using the "Love & Chocolate" Paper Pad.
• Stamped and die cut the image from the "Never Enough Dogs" stamp set, colored with alcohol markers.
• Stamped the sentiment using the "Never Enough Dogs" stamp set, die cut it using the Speech Bubbles Die.

• Stamped the sentiment on the inside of the Tri-Fold Accordion card and added the heart and bubble from the "Never Enough Dogs" stamp set.

I loved how this card turned out, I will definately make a Tri-Fold Accordian card again.  This card is very simple to make, if you are interested in making one like this, you can search YouTube for Tri-Fold Accordina card and find the measurements.  You basically are using a 4 1/4 x 11 inch paper (1/2 of an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper) and score at 2 1/2", 3 3/4", 6 3/4", 8 1/4".

NEWTON'S NOOK DESIGNS - January 2023 RELEASE - REVEAL DAY 1

The design team is featuring "Puppy Heart Stamp" Stamp Set and coordinating Dies, "Love & Woofs Paper Pad" and "Love & Chocolate Paper Pad" . Here is my card I created.

 

Here is how I created the card:

• A2 card measuring 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2.
• Cut the background papers using the "Love & Woofs" Paper Pad.
• Stamped and die cut the image from the "Puppy Heart" stamp set, colored with alcohol markers.
• Die cut the scalloped stitched circle from the Circle Frame dies, added the sentiment, adhered it to the front of the card.

• Assembled the card adding the hearts from the Puppy Heart stamp set and added glossy accents.

• Finishing touches added some enamel dots from my stash.  

This is the cutest stamp set!

Newton's Nook Designs - Happy Bark Day!

Hello everyone!

I am here with Newton's Nook Designs featuring the Heartfelt Woofs Stamp Set, Dog Silhouettes Die and A Dog's Life Paper Pad. I had so much fun creating this card. I love mixing pattern paper and this card was really fun to create.

Here is how I created my card:

I started by trimming down three sheets of patterned paper from A Dog’s Life Paper Pad, I positioned the paper where I wanted it and adhered it to a piece of black cardstock measuring 4 x 5 1/4. Next I die cut the Dog Silhouettes Dies that I wanted to use, I die cut the scalloped circle from the Circle Frame Die Set from white card stock and adhered the dogs using foam tape. I then heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder from the Heartfelt Woofs stamp set and die cut it using the Banner Trio Die Set.

Joy Clair Designs Stamps - Puppy Love!

I am here with Joy Clair Designs, I am sharing with you a card I created using the Joy Clair Designs stamp set called Puppy Love, the sentiment is from Joy Clair Designs Best Buds stamp set.  Both of these sets are adorable with cute images and great sentiments that could be made with any card.

Here is how I created my card:

1. My card is an A2 card, measuring 4 1/4 x 5 1/2,

2. I cut a panel at 4 1/4 x 5 1/2, I masked off the bottom and used distress ink to create the grass, I used a stencil to create the clouds,

3. I die cut the dog house from a die in my stash, I pieced it together and adhered it to the base of the card,

4.  I added the sentiment from the Best Buds stamp set,

4. I stamped the images from the Puppy Love stamp set with black ink, used my scan and cut to cut the images and colored them with copics.  I adhered them to the card with foam squares.

Joy Clair New November Release - Dog Gone Chirstmas

Hello everyone!

So excited about Joy Clair Christmas release!   There are so many cool stamp sets!  I am featuring the new set called "Dog Gone Christmas".  This is the cutest set, there are a couple of dogs, dog paws, a dog house and some other small dog related elements.  Perfect to use even after Christmas!

Here is how I put my card together:

1. My card is an A2 card (horizontal) measuring 4 1/4 x 5 1/2,
2. I cut a piece of card stock  4 1/4 x 3 1/2 and stamped the dog paws, I adhered it to the base of the card,
3. I cut a piece of white card stock to look like a hill of snow and adhered it to the card,
4. I stamped all the images from the Joy Clair Dog Gone Christmas stamp set with Black Memento Ink, 
5. I then cut the images with the Brother Scan and Cut, and colored them with copics, and placed the images where I wanted them on the cardm
6. I  stamped my sentiment and cut it out and used dimensional's to add it to my card.
