Joy Clair Stamps - Saved by Grace!

Monday, June 24, 2019

Hello everyone!

I am here with Joy Clair Stamps with a beautiful card created using the Joy Clair Stamp set "Saved by Grace".  This is a nice large stamp set, it is a 6x8 stamp set with 17 images and sentiments in it.  I love the bold lettering in this set.

Here is my card and how I put it together:

1.  My card is an A2 top folding card,
2.  I stamped the flower images in several colors on my card from the "Saved by Grace" stamp set,
3.  I stamped the large sentiment on my card using black ink,
4.  I then stamped two flowers and some leaves from the Joy Clair Stamps "Saved by Grace" then cut them out using my scan and cut.  I then used foam squares to adhere them to the top of my card to give my CAS card some dimension,
5.  To finish off my card I added some black enamel dots from my stash.

MISTI AND JC

Hello everyone!

Today I am back with My Sweet Petunia and Joy Clair's design teams sharing projects featuring the MISTI as well as many of the fantastic products from Joy Clair! Please be sure to stop over to Joy Clair's Blog to see all the wonderful projects the team has created using the MISTI.

I have two projects to share today, using the Joy Clair stamp set from the Color by Faith collection called "Praise the Lord" and "Refuel My Soul".

For my first card, I am using the original MISTI which is 8x10. For more information on this MISTI, you can go to the Misti store. I am using the My Sweet Petunia Creative Corners for this project.  I created a background with the words for the Joy Clair Praise the Lord stamp set.  See below for the steps I used to do this with my Misti.

I cut the piece with the hands and placed it at the bottom of the page.  To finish off the card, I added some color sequins.

I started out with the My Sweet Petunia Creative Corner in the corner of my Misti, I began stamping with several colors of ink.

I moved the Creative Corner up the page as I randomly stamped the words.

I then added the creative corner with the magnets at the top of the Misti so my paper would not shift.  I then randomly stamped the words on the other half of the paper until the page was full.  I love the colorful words on the page.

I then stamped the hands from the Praise the Lord stamp set with Versafine ink using the Misti Bar Magnet, because the image is solid, I wanted to make sure the paper did not move, so I used the extra magnets that came with the Misti.

My next card is using the Joy Clair Refuel My Soul stamp set, this is a CAS card. I am using the Mini Misti for this project.  I cut the piece with the hands and placed it at the bottom of the page.  To finish off the card, I added some color sequins.

I wasn't sure what how I was going to layout my card, so I stamped a few images using Memento ink.

I stamped my background with the stamp from the Refuel My Soul stamp set, I then placed my image where I wanted it to go and stamped the sentiment.  I colored the fuel tank image with copics and popped it on my card.

Here is my take on the inspirational photo.

Here is how I put my card together:

I stamped the fish three times using the Misti and cut them out with the SNC.

I then cut a piece of card stock with a stitched die, I used a water brush and added some water color paint onto the card. I let it dry and put the card stock  in the  Misti and stamped the hooks.

After the paint was dried I put the card stock  in the  Misti and stamped the hooks and the sentient.

I colored the fish with copics, then placed them where I wanted them and popped them up with foam tape.

All day Joy Clair will be sharing a card of inspiration.  My card for today was to make a card for a friend!  My card is for a dear friend Avis that I have known for almost 30 years.  She is a wonderful christian friend and is always there when I need her.  I know I can call her and she would be right there for me.  My card is perfect for  her, because I know she will always be sweet on the inside.

Here is my card I made with Avis in mind!

I started off with an A2 card.  I used some flowery design paper I had in my stash and added it to my card.  I die cut a panel and added it to my card.  I die cut two circles and stamped the sentiment on the white cardstock.  I stamped the pineapples from the Joy Clair Color By Faith set called Be a Flamingo.  I colored them with copics and used foam tape to pop them up on the white circle cardstock.  To finish off my card I added some black dots from Nuvo Black Drops.

Here is a closer look of the pineapples.

Joy Clair - My Redeemer

Thursday, March 16, 2017

Hello everyone!

I am here with Joy Clair with the newly  released stamp set  Color By Faith line called "My Reedeemer".  For all you bible journaler's out there, this is a great set to have!  With Easter coming up this would also be a perfect set to make some Easter cards.  Please make sure you read this whole post there is a giveaway for this new release.

Here is my project today featuring the "My Reedeemer" stamp set.

Here is how I put it together:

I cut my piece of canvas to size, I then took some Archival Ink (Cactus Flower) and rubbed it into the craft mat and added some alcohol and rubbed the canvas in the solution until I got the color I wanted.

I let my canvas dry, I cut a piece of heavy chipboard to size, after the canvas dried, I laid the chipboard on top of the canvas and wrapped it around.

Here is the what it looks like after I wrapped the canvas around the chipboard. I pivoted the corners so I would not be bulky.

I used my Misti to stamp my sentiments so that I could have a clean and crisp look.  I used Black Archival ink to do this.  I heat set the sentiment to make sure it was dry.

I used the SVGs for the redeemer set, I then stamped the images on chipboard and fuzzy cut them out, I glued the cut out pieces to the chipboard and added the images to my canvas piece.

The design team has a CONTEST we want to play!  Each of the designers have been given a special "keyword".  While doing this hop be sure to find each person's word, and put them together to create a sentence (list of design team is below to hop along).
