Newton's Nooks Design - APRIL 2022 RELEASE - REVEAL DAY 3

Hello everyone!

I am here with Newton's Nook Designs and today is Reveal Day 3 of the NEWLY released products that will be available on Friday, April 22nd. The design team is featuring "Dad's BBQ" Stamp Set and coordinating dies. For more inspiration please visit Newton's Nook Design Blog to see what the design team has created.

Here is how I created it:

• A2 card measuring 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2.
• The background layer measures 3 3/4" x 5", the top layer measures 3 5/8" x 4 7/8"
• Created the clouds on the top layer by die cutting the Sky Borders Die Set and using them as a stencil.
• Die cut the top grass layer of the card using the Land Border Die Set.
• Stenciled the trees from the Tree Line Stencil and adhered the grass layer to the card.
• Stamped the images from the "Dad's BBQ" Stamp Set, colored with alcohol markers and die cut them with the coordinating dies.
• Cut the "checkered" picnic blanket from the Love & Meows 6x6 Paper Pad. 
• Stamped the sentiment from the  "Dad's BBQ" Stamp Set onto a tag from the A7 Frames & Banners Die Set using black ink.
• Assembled the card.

Kat Scrappiness, Inc. - Happy Father's Day

Hello everyone!

I am here with Kat Scrappiness, Inc. showcasing the newly released Happy Father's Day with Shadow Die. Here is my shaker card I created using the Kat Scrappiness, Inc. newly released products.  

Here is how I created my shaker card:

1. I cut the base card at 6 x 3 1/2.   I then cut the lumber yard slimline paper to size and to the base of the card.
2. I then die cut the Kat Scrappiness Mini Slimline Tri-Frame die from the Kat Scrappiness 

Starlights jewels slimline paper.

3. I adhered Kat Scrappiness Mini Slimline Acetate Sheet to the Mini Slimline Tri-Frame die with liquid glue. I added some foam tape to the back of the Tri-Frame die and attached the acetate.
4. I added the shaker parts of the card to the base.
5. I stamped and colored the image with copics from the Kat Scrappiness Summer Quokka and added him to the front of the card.
6. I die cut the Happy Father's Day with Shadow Die with the lumber yard slimline paper and die cut the shadow with vellum, I adhered them together and added it to the card.

Joy Clair - Best Dad Ever

Hello everyone!

I'm here with Joy Clair Stamps sharing a Father's Day card with you.  It is a clean and simple one.  This month Joy Clair is collaboring with Bazzill Basics Paper, the design team is using their papers in their projects.

Tool Background 

Best Dad Ever

Here is how I created my card:

1.  My card is an A2 card,
2.  I cut the top layer at 4 x 5 1/4,
3. I used my Misti and used the Joy Clair background stamp "Tool Background" to stamp the background,
4.  I then stamped the sentiment from the Joy Clair "Best Dad Ever",
5.  I inked the edges of the layered background to give the card some interest and then adhered the sentiment to my card.

Rinea - Happy Father's Day with a Frappuccino

Hello everyone!

I am here with Rinea sharing a coffee card I created for a Father's Day gift.  I used the Rinea Mocha/Gold Glossy Solid Packs & Rolls, Rinea Mocha/Mocha Starstruck Solid Packs & Rolls,Rinea Silver/Gold Glossy Solid Packs & Rolls, Rinea Jade/Gold Glossy Solid Packs & Rolls,  Rinea Copper/Copper Starstruck Solid Packs & Rolls and Rinea Ruby/Gold Glossy Solid Packs & Rolls foiled papers on my card.

I'm also playing along with the Spring/Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop.  If you would like to join in the fun the hop is from May 3-10 and can be found here.

Here is how I created my card:

1.  I used a die cut to cut all the elements of the card,
2.  I die cut a white piece of card stock for my base and added the foiled paper onto the card,
3.  I stamped the sentiment with black ink and die cut it and added some distress ink along the edges,
4.  To finish off the front of the cup, I die cut the heart with Ruby Foiled Paper,

5.  For the inside, I used my Silhouette machine and die cut the gift card holder using Mocha Starstruck Foiled Paper, I used double sided terrific tape to adhere the edges and attached the gift card to the cup,
6.  I stamped the sentiment with brown ink, die cut it with a circle die and cut another circle using  Copper Starstruck foiled paper and adhered it to my sentiment and adhered it to the gift card holder.

I think this masculine Frappuccino would be perfect for a Father's Day gift.  I hope you have started creating or making your Father's Day gifts and cards.

Rinea - Happy Father's Day!

Hello everyone!

This is my first post as a Design Team Member with Rinea!!! I am very excited for this opportunity and I hope that I will inspire you in your crafting endeavors. I am also excited about the opportunity to share with all of you the foiled papers Rinea has! The foils will make any project you create elegant and will make your projects shine (haha)! I have so many projects in my head I want to create, so I am excited about this year on the design team!

I am sharing with you today a "Father's Day" card! I am using the Rinea Foiled Paper from the newly released set called Magical Variety Pack . My card is clean and simple, but I think elegant at the same time! The foiled papers are perfect for any masculine card.

The base of my card is an A2 card, 4 1/4x 5 1/2, the foiled paper from the Magical Variety Pack measures 4 x 5 1/4.

I die cut all the elements using the Rinea foiled paper from the Magical Variety Pack. I arranged the elements on my card. I used adhesive to adhere the gold pocket, then I used foam tape to add the tie and the word dad. I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder on black card stock and added foam tape and popped it up on my card.
