I am here with Retro Rubber Challenge blog and we have a new inspirational holiday challenge. I hope you enjoyed hopping along with the design team celebrating Retro Rubber's Challenge Blog 100th challenge. I had fun and the winner of my blog is Alicia from Golden Goddess Designs, please send me a message at didlet@aol.com so I can get you your prize! In the subject line, please put "RRCB 100th Winner".
If you have not joined our challenges before, the rules are very simple, just use a stamp older than a year and you must include the age (or approximate age) of the stamp in your blog post. Here is the sketch for you to use. I cannot wait to see you take on it.
My card is a 5 x 5 card, I cut the image from my paper to 4 7/8 x 4 7/8, I cut come of the images from the paper and fuzzy cut it and used foam tape to pop the images on the card. I stamped the sentiment from Stampin Up's Wondrous Wreath. To finish the card, I added some dew drops.
Now onto my take on the challenge, I was so inspired with the holiday challenge. I had this paper in my stash called "Snowman and Penguins" by Craft Creations LTD, I bought from White Rose Crafts. I just had to use it on this challenge. The stamp I used on my card to stamp the sentiment is by Stampin Up called Wondrous Wreath, it was released in 2014 in the Holiday Mini Catalog. I believe the stamp set is retired.
closer look at the card. I added the little penguin and pop it up with foam tape and two of the presents are popped up using foam tape
Thank you for stopping by, I hope you will play along. You have until December 14th!
This is so effective, Donna! I'd been quietly impressed by your awesome colouring and amazed at the masking you must have done and then I find out that it's a gorgeous piece of DSP instead. And it works magnificently, especially with the way you've popped up bits to add depth. Lovely, lovely, lovely! I hope that you and all you love have a wonderful Christmas and that 2019 is good for you.
ReplyDeleteSo totally adorable, how great you used this sweet paper images for your card.
