RETRO RUBBER CHALLENGE BLOG - Inspirational Challenge

Hello everyone!

I am here with Retro Rubber Challenge blog and we have a new challenge, which is an inspirational photo.  Be sure to stop over on the Retro Rubber Challenge blog to get more inspiration, the design team has some wonderful creations!

Here is my card for your inspiration. I've created an A2 size card. The stamp set I am using from Newton's Nook Designs called "Caroling Newton" that was released in October 2019. I stamped, die cut and colored the image with copics. The background paper is from my stash. I finished off the card by stamping the sentiment from the Caroling Newton stamp set.

NEWTON'S NOOK DESIGNS - January 2023 RELEASE - REVEAL DAY 4

Hello everyone!

It's the last day of the January Reveals with Newton's Nook Designs! All the products I have featured this week will be available tomorrow,  Friday, January 20th. Today the design team is featuring “Never Enough Cats” Stamp Set and coordinating Dies. For more inspiration please visit Newton's Nook Design Blog to see what the design team has created.

Here is my card I created.

Here is how I created the card:

• A2 card measuring 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2.
• Cut the background using the Framework Die with from the "Love & Chocolate" Paper Pad.
• Stamped and die cut the image from the "Never Enough Cats" stamp set, colored with alcohol markers.
• Stamped the sentiment from the "Never Enough Cats" stamp set, die cut the sentiment using the  Frames Squared Die set (used the circle and cut in 1/2)

• To finish off the card, I stamped the hearts on Kraft paper and die cut them, then stamped and die cut the bubble and added it to the card.

Here is a closer look at the cats and their friend in the background.  This is another adorable set!  This product will be available tomorrow!

NEWTON'S NOOK DESIGNS - January 2023 RELEASE - REVEAL DAY 2

It's Reveal Day 2 of the NEWLY released products that will be available on Friday, January 20th. The design team is featuring  “Newton’s Heart” Stamp Set and coordinating Dies. For more inspiration please visit Newton's Nook Design Blog to see what the design team has created.

Here is my card I created.

Here is how I created the card:

• A2 card measuring 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2.
• Cut the background papers using the "Love & Woofs" and "Love & Chocolate" Paper Pads.
• Stamped and die cut the image from the "Newton's Heart " stamp set, colored with alcohol markers.
• Stamped the image again and fuzzy cut the feet and paws to paper piece.
• Die cut the scalloped stitched circle from the Circle Frame dies and adhered the image to the front of the card.
• Stamped the sentiment using and die cut it using the Frames & Flags Die.

• Assembled the card adding the hearts from the  "Newton's Heart" stamp set. 

• Paper pieced the feet and hands added foam squares to pop up them up, added glossy accents to the heart for finishing touches.

Another adorable stamp set!  I love how Newton is holding the heart.

Newton's Nook Designs - Sweet Holiday

Hello everyone!

I am here with Newton's Nook Designs featuring the Newton's Candy Cane Stamp Set and coordinating dies. This is an adorable set, perfect to send out for your Christmas cards.

The card is an A2 card, for the top layer I used the Meowy Christmas Paper Pad that features the same candy cane kitty image and cut candy piece. I love how some of Newton's stamps have matching paper. I colored the images with alcohol markers added glitter to the white portions of the Santa hat and candy piece for some sparkle! I cut the images out using the coordinating Newton's Candy Cane Die Set.  I added some glossy accents to the little heart.

I layered a vellum oval over the center, cut out using our Oval Frames Die Set. The message "Wishing you a SWEET holiday!" from the Newton's Candy Cane Stamp Set was embossed onto the oval. I added a couple of pine boughs to the top of the oval, cut out using our Pines & Holly Die Set, for a festive touch!

Newton's Nook Designs - Happy Surf Day!

Hello everyone!

I am here with Newton's Nook Designs featuring Newton's Perfect Wave Stamp Set and Retro Sun & Palms Stencil Set.  I think this card is adorable with the beach scene of the kitty going surfing.  

Here is how I created my card:

My card is an A2 card measuring 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I die cut the top panel with a stitched rectangle die and ink blended the background using the Retro Sun & Palms Stencil Set. I then die cut the bottom part of the card with the Land Borders die set. I used the rectangle die to die cut it so the edges would look the same. I used a alcohol marker to make dots on the panel to look like sand. I stamped and colored the image from the Newton's Perfect Wave with copic markers and die cut it with the Newton's Perfect Wave Die Set.
