Newton's Nook Designs - Make A Wish!

Hello everyone!

Today I’m excited to share a cheerful birthday card I created using some of my favorite Newton’s Nook Designs products. This card came together with a fun mix of stamping, die-cutting, and patterned paper—perfect for celebrating someone special!

I started by choosing a playful patterns from the Birthday Time Paper Pad. The prints in this collection are perfect for adding instant celebration vibes, and the ones I've chosen set the color palette for the entire card. I used the Frames and Tags Die Set to cut the panels. I also used the Frames and Tags Die Set for the frame of the card panel.

The sentiment I used is from the Birthday Essentials Stamp Set. I stamped the sentiment onto a rectangel stitched die from the Basic Frames Die Set. I then stamped and embossed the top sentiment from the Birthday Essentials Stamp Set and die cut it using the Banner Duo Die Set.

To finish off the card I added the present from the Gift Builder Die Set. I love how versatile this set is—perfect for any occasion that involves a little wrapping and celebrating!

Newton's Nook Designs - Hummingbird

Hello everyone!

I am here with Newton's Nook Designs featuring the Hummingbird Stamp Set.  The background layers are cut from the NEWLY released Back to Basics die sets, Basic Frame and Frames and Tags .  

Here is my card for your inspiration:

My card is an A2 card, I stamped and die cut the birds and florals from the Hummingbird stamp set.  The set only comes with one Hummingbird and I wanted the bird on the left facing the bird from the set.  I decided to do the technique, reverse stamping. There are lots of YouTube videos on this technique if you don't know how to do it.  I colored the birds and the flowers with alcohol markers.  I die cut the black layer from the Frames and Tags die set.  I then die cut the top layer from the Basic Frame die set.  I masked off the edges on the top layer and created clouds in the background from the Cloud Stencil and ink blended some green at the bottom for grass. I added the sentiment from the Hummingbird Stamp Set and assembled the card.

NEWTON'S NOOK DESIGNS - Back to Basics March 2024 NEW RELEASE DAY 1

Happy Spring everyone!

I am here with Newtons Nook Designs, featuring the NEW Back to Basics March 2024 release! Today I am featuring the NEWLY released Frames and Tags Die Set and the Bright Basics 6x6 Paper Pad. The stamped image is Sky High Celebrations Stamp and Die sets.  There are 3 NEW basic frame sets that will definately be an asset to your collection of dies.  These dies can be interchanged with each other.

Here is my cards for your inspiration:

My card is an A2 card (4 1/4 x 5 1/2), the paper I am using is the NEW Bright Basics 6x6 Paper Pad.  I die cut the elements from the Frames and Tags Die Set and adhered them to my card.  I stamped the sentiment onto one of the frames from the Frames and Tags Die Set.  I then stamped and colored the image from the Sky High Celebrations Stamp and die cut it with the coordinating die.  I adhered it to the  card with foam squares.
