Join in the hop and see what wonderful inspiration the Scrapping for Less design team and guest designers has for you. You will find this month’s selections on the subscription page. Lots of extra goodies as well too on the a la carte page. After hopping head on back to the Scrapping for Less blog to enter the Rafflecopter.

Double Dip

The following cards are from the Double Dip collection:

I used the sketch for my inspiration.  The technique I used on this card is mirrored stamping.  I have been doing a lot of this lately.  I colored the chameleon with copics, and added them to my card.  To finish this card off I added some glossy accents to the hearts and the chameleon eyes for dimension and added the sequins that is in this collection.

My next card is Meerkat by Newton's Nook, isn't he the cutest!  I stamped the Meerkat twice, colored with copics and added it to the circle I die cut.  I stamped the sentiment and die cut it with a flag die.  I used the paper and the doily from the collection.

My next card, I used the sketch from the kit.  I did mirror stamping again, I die cut a rectangle die, and inked the background, I colored the sloth with copics, and adhered them to panel with foam squares, I stamped the image and die cut it and added to the card.  The paper is this collection is so much fun, I couldn't decide on which papers to use, but thought my choices went well together.

My next card, I used the sketch you will get in the kit.  I stamped the parrot from the Bird Talk stamp set by Scrapping for Less, the paper I used on my card is from the collection, oh my, the paper in this collection is beautiful!  I love everyone of the sheets.  I cut a panel 5 1/2 x 2 1/2, wrapped the twine around the panel and adhered it to my card, I die cut two stitched circles, one with the gold glitter paper from the kit and then inked the background of the other circle, I adhered them together and used foam squares to add it to my card, I colored the parrot with copics, adhered the branch to my circle and used foam squares to add the parrot.  To finish the card off I used Nuvo Ebony black drops on his eye and added glossy accent to the beak.  I love this card!!!

Banana Split

My last card,  I created a background with distressed inks, I stamped the parrot from the Bird Talk stamp set by Scrapping for Less, I colored it with copics, added some Nuvo Ebony black drops on his eye and added glossy accent to the beak.  I had some of the background paper leftover, I die cut the "go wild" word from the Banana Split and then die cut it again with black cardstock and offset the word, I stamped the leaves around the card from the banana split stamp set called Exotic Sentiment Stamp by Scrapping for Less.  I adhered the words to the card, used foam squares to add the parrot and finished the card off by adding sequins from the collection.

Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope I have inspired you and you will stop over to Scrapping for Less and grab this kit, it is so much fun!
