Joy Clair Stamps - Living Water

Monday, November 26, 2018

Hello everyone!

I am here with Joy Clair Stamps and I am using their newest released stamp from their Bible Journaling line called Living Water. This is such a cute stamp set that is perfect for bible journaling, but I have created a card for your inspiration.

There are still a couple of days for you to join the Joy Clair stamps November challenge! As always it is "anything goes" but the design team has an inspirational photo. I hope you will join, one lucky person has the opportunity to win a $25 gift card to the Joy Clair store. You can find all the details here.

Here is my card I created and how I put it together, for your inspiration.

Here is how I put it together:

My card is an A2 card. I cut two pieces of design paper and adhered it to my card. I cut the top panel with water color paper, I used my water color paints to create my scene. I die cut a piece of vellum and stamped it with versamark and added some black embossing powder and heat set it with my heat tool.  I added some twine to the vellum piece and adhered it to my card with glue dots.

Here is a closer view of the card.

Joy Clair - Be Brave

Tuesday, February 21, 2017

Hello everyone!

The February release with Joy Clair is amazing!  I am showcasing the new stamp set called "Be Brave". Have you noticed a theme in this release this month?  It's all about being yourself, being free and being strong.  What have you gotten out of this release?   This months theme is watercoloring, I love the technique of emboss resist.

Here is my card:

Here is how I put my card together:
  1.   A2 card 4 1/4 x 5 1/2,
  2. . I used Ranger Watercolor paper (I always use the smooth side of the paper), I die cut     the paper with a stitched die to give it some dimension,
  3.  I  used the feather from the "Be Brave" stamp set, I stamped it with versamark and  then applied white embossing powder to the stamped image,
  4.  I then heat embossed the image,
  5.  I let the image cool,
  6. Then I applied some blue watercolor paint directly on and around my embossed  image,
  7.  I stamped my sentiment with Archival Black ink using my Misti so it would be exactly  where I wanted it,
  8.  I finished my card by adding some foam dots.
