Hello everyone!

I'm here with Gina K. Designs sharing my card for this months Monthly Mix Challenge. Arjita Singh is the host and the challenge is "Vintage". I thought the newly released Whimsical Wildflower Frame iillustrated by Hannah Schroepfer was the perfect set for this challenge!

There is still time to play along with the challenge.  There are THREE $25 gift certificates up for grabs!  Just link your card here and follow the theme which is "Vintage".  You have until June 30th to enter and the winners will be announced on July 1st on Gina K. Designs blog.

Here is my card:

I am using the newly released Whimsical Wildflower Frame illustrated by Hannah Schroepfer, the background is Gina K. Designs stencil Thick Brush.  My card is an A2 card, I am using the Gina K. Designs Innocent Pink cardstock, I stamped the  Whimsical Wildflower Frame  with versamark ink using my Misti, I heat embossed it with Gina K. Copper embossing powder.  I inked the cardstock with Gina K. Innocent Pink ink and then used the Thick Brush using Gina K. Jelly Bean Green ink using the “Life Changing” Blender Brushes.  I inked the edges with the Innocent Pink and Stormy Skys Ink.  To finish off the card, I distressed the edges to give it a "Vintage" look.

Closer look at my card.

Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps - Just a Note

Tuesday, May 21, 2019

Hello everyone,

I am here with Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps sharing a note card with you!  I love how my card turned out, I created my card using heat and resist technique.  I hope you enjoy how I created my card:

1. My card is an A2 card, 4 1/4 x 5 1/2,
2. For my background, I stamped the Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps "Tulip Background" with versamark ink, I then added some white embossing powder and heat embossed it,
3. I then took a blending tool and added some distress inks, after I put down all the ink I needed, I took a baby wipe and wiped  off the ink on the white embossed image (technique called heat resist),
4. I stamped the sentiment "Sending a Note" by Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps with versamark and then added white embossing powder and heat embossed it, I die cut the image out and adhered it to my card,
7. I finished off my card by adding some black enamel dots.

Closer look.
