Newton's Nook Designs - Cheers to Summer

Hello everyone!

I’m sharing a fun summer-themed card featuring Newton’s Nook Designs Happy Meowr Stamp Set! I wanted this card to have a cool coastal feel, so I paired the adorable image with papers from the Seaside Paper Pad and created a bold geometric background using Card Layout 4.

The different patterned papers come together beautifully, adding lots of interest while keeping the soft blue color palette perfect for summer. I love how the turtle, fish, and dotted patterns complement sweet Newton as he relaxes with a refreshing drink in his fishbowl—definitely living his best summer life!  

For the sentiment, I chose “Cheers to Summer!” from the Newton’s Happy Meowr Stamp Set. I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder and die-cut it from the Basic Frames Die Set.

To finish the card, I added a few sparkling sequins around Newton for a touch of shimmer and tucked in a few seashells from the Happy Meowr Stamp set to complete the beachy vibe.

Newton's Nook Designs - Newton's Sand Dollar

Hello everyone!

I am on the Newton's Nook Blog today featuring the Newton's Sand Dollar Stamp Set with the coordinating die, the Seaside Paper Pad and the Fractured Card Layout Die Set. As summer is ending I thoght I would create one more summer related card.

   

My card is an A2 card (4 1/4 x 5 1/2). I die cut the Fractured Card Layout Die Set twice. I first die cut it using some gray cardstock from my stash and then again using the gray seashell paper from the Seaside Paper Pad. I assembled this and added it to the front of my card.

Next I stamped and colored the images from the image Newton and the seashells from the Newton's Sand Dollar Stamp Set using alcohol markers. I added these to my card using some foam squares.

Lastly, I stamped and embossed the sentiment from the Seashell Roundabout Stamp Set and die it from the Banner Duo Die Set.

Hello everyone!

I am on the Newton's Nook Blog today featuring the Newton's Sand Dollar Stamp Set with the coordinating die and the Seaside Paper Pad.  

My card is an A2 card. I die cut the panel from the NEWLY released Card Layout 4 Die. I die cut it three more times using the Seaside Paper Pad. I assembled the card onto a kraft card base. I then stamped, colored and die cut the images from the Newton's Sand Dollar Stamp Set . I finished the card off by stamping the sentiment from the Newton's Sand Dollar Stamp Set and die cut it using the Circle Frames Die Set.
