Hello everyone!
I am here with Kat Scrappiness, I am so excited to be guest designing for this month and December. I am a fan of her dies and stamps, especially the slimline dies!
Today I am featuring the NEWLY released Wrapped Up with A Bow Slimline Die, Slimline Mountain Scape, Holiday Village Slimline die. There are also NEWLY released Kat Scrappiness slimline paper pads called Cuppa Coffee and Sugar Plum Fairies. Last but not lease there are tones of NEWLY release Sprinkles for your shaker cards!
Here are my cards for your inspiration:t
My first card, measures 3 7/8 x 8 1/2, I die cut the first panel with Kat Scrappiness Embossed Edge Nesting Slimline die, the paper is the NEWLY released Sugar Plum Fairies I adhered this to my card, I die cut the Wrapped Up with A Bow Slimline Die and adhered it to my card. I die cut the ribbon again and popped it onto the first ribbon. I then die cut the parts to the ribbon and colored it with a copic marker that matched the paper. The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn Shutter Card Holiday Sayings.
My second card I have used a combination of dies from the new release. I have used the Kat Scrappiness Slimline Mountain Scape and the Holiday Village Slimline die. I love how you can mix and match the newly released slimline dies. My slimline card measures 3 7/8 x 8 1/2, I then die cut the top layer with Kat Scrappiness Double Stitched Nesting Slimline dies. I used distress inks to create the sky. I then die cut the Slimline Mountain Scape with gray paper and mountain top with white paper. I then die cut the Holiday Village Slimline die, I adhered these pieces to my card. I then die cut the roof tops of the houses with the NEWLY released Sugar Plum Fairies and adhered it to the card. I added some Diamond stickles to the tops of the mountain and the trees on the sides of the houses. The Happy Holidays is from a stamp set in my stash. I finished off the card by adding the NEWLY released Kat Scrappiness White Snowflake Sprinkles in the sky and the Peppermint Sticks Sprinkle Mix to the top of the trees.
I hope that I have inspired you. I really enjoyed creating these cards, I think I am addicted to making slimline cards.
